Recently, Hacking Attacks are appearing as a various Attack techniques with evolution of the Network and most of the network through a various Security Systems are responding to an attack. In addition, it should be placed adding the Security Systems to protect the Internal Network's Information Assets from External attacks. But, The use of Security Systems and Network deployment inside the network makes a significant impact on Security and Performance. Therefore, In this paper, it will be to analyze the Performance Degradation Factors of the Internal Network according to the Security System's use and placement. In a future, This paper is expected to serve as a valuable information for the Network Performance and Security improvements.
This explorative study examines the difference in firm performance according to the adoption of the core technology of the Fourth industrial revolution, including artificial intelligence(AI), internet of things (IoT), cloud computing, and big data technology. Additionally, we investigate the importance of internal organizational structure exclusively responsible for information security. We analyze unique microdata offered by the Korea Information Society Development Institute to examine the impact of the adoption of the new technologies and the existence of organizational structure for information protection on firm performance, i.e., firm sales. By considering the core information technology as powerful knowledge assets, we argue that the adoption of such technology leads firms to have comparative advantage comparing to the competitors. Also, we emphasize the need to consider the organizational structure suitable for information security, which can become a structural asset of a firm.

Blockchain system brought innovation in the area of accounting, credit monitoring and trade secrets. Consensus algorithm that considered the central component of blockchain, significantly influences performance and security of blockchain system. In this paper we presented four consensus protocols specifically as Proof of Work (PoW), Proof of Stake (PoS), Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) and Practical Byzantine Fault-Tolerance (PBFT), we also reviewed different security threats that affect the performance of Consensus Protocols and precisely enlist their counter measures. Further we evaluated the performance of these Consensus Protocols in tabular form based on different parameters. At the end we discussed a comprehensive comparison of Consensus protocols in terms of Throughput, Latency and Scalability. We presume that our results can be beneficial to blockchain system and token economists, practitioners and researchers.

In this study, we developed a comprehensive model to measure the National Information Security Level based on PRM framework. The proposed model reflected a rapidly changing technology environments such as social network service, mobile devices, and etc. This new model consists of three layers:Infrastructure Layer, the Action Layer and the Performance Layer, and there are 16 sub-indexes under the 3 layers. To develop new model and sub-indexes for measuring the National Information Security Level, much amounts of documents related to security indexes or deliberation criteria and security guidelines from international organization were reviewed and then most probable index pool were composed. The Index pool were verified by expert group consisting of professors and specialists. Through five times of screening and having an evaluation review, 16 sub-indexes were deduced and then Delphi and AHP have been conducted to obtain validity and objectiveness of the indexes. Thus the new proposed national information security index will show more exact national information security level and we expect that the indexes give much implications for establishing information protection policy.
Since 2002, information security management system has been implemented (ISMS) certification scheme whilst providing telecommunications services to enhance the level of enterprise information security was ongoing and Prevent accidents and avoid spread of infringement, such as rapid response and there is a lot of it came true. However, this system is the protection of the country or the investment company, as part of the actual information on how management affects the performance came from or how measures are still lacking for. In this study, the companies have their own privacy ISMS certification measures the level of activity continued to improve information security performance measures and methodology are presented. The government is also based on the validity of the certification system to ensure the overall implementation of the ISMS itself is this a step increase effective information security system is to be certified in advance to prevent security incidents and to improve business performance to help.

Heterogeneous IoT devices must satisfy a certain level of security for mutual connections and communications. However, a performance degradation of cryptographic algorithms in resource constrained devices is inevitable and so an optimization or efficient implementation method is necessary. In this paper, we study an efficient implementation method for rotation operations regarding registers for running ARX lightweight block ciphers. In a practical sense, we investigate the performance of modified rotation operations through experiments using real experiment devices. We show the improved performance of modified rotation operations and discover the significant difference in measured performance between simulations and real experiments, particularly for 16-bit MSP microcontrollers.

As Internet usage is rapidly spreading, tasks that were only possible offline are now available in cyber space but at the same time, new security threats such as hacking and viruses have also increased. For that reason, Comprehensive and methodical information security systems are therefore required in enterprises and organizations. Consequently, the Information Security Management System certification system has been in effect in Korea since July 2001. As of December 2012, 130 enterprises have been certified, and more than 120 ISO27001 certifications have been issued. As such, since the introduction of the ISMS certification system in Korea, the demand for the certification has been steadily increasing, and it is now recognized as an integral part of maintaining the competitiveness in an enterprise. However, the qualitative aspects of certification regarding the effectiveness of ISMS have been continuously questioned by actual customers. In order to clarify the situation and remove such doubts, this study will substantiate the fact that development and certification of ISMS positively affect the business performance of enterprises so that they will recognize the effect of obtaining ISMS certification and eventually prevent security accidents and improve their business performance by developing ISMS.

In this paper, we analyze the secrecy performance of single-input multiple-output (SIMO) relay systems over κ-μ shadowed fading channels. Based on considering relay model employing decode-and-forward (DF) protocol, two security evaluation metrics, namely, secure outage probability (SOP) and probability of strictly positive secrecy capacity (SPSC) are studied, for which closed-form analytical expressions are derived. In addition, Monte Carlo results prove the validity of the theoretical derivation. The simulation results confirm that the factors that enhance the security include large ratio of (μD, μE), (mD, mE), (LD, LE) and small ratio of (kD, kE) under the high signal-to-noise ratio regime.

While users of information security products require high-quality products that are secure and have high performance, there are neither examples for evaluating the quality of information security products nor studies on the quality model and metrics for the quality evaluation. In this paper, information security products are categorized into three different types and the security and performance of various information security products are analyzed. Through this process and after consideration of information security products' security and performance, a new quality model that possesses 7 characteristics and 24 sub-characteristics has been defined. In addition, metrics consisting of 62 common and 45 extended metrics that can be used to evaluate the quality of information security products are introduced, and a proposition for a method of generating the quality evaluation metrics for specific information security products is included. The method of generating metrics proposed in this paper can be extended in order to be applied to a variety of information security products, and by generating and verifying the quality evaluation metrics for firewall, intrusion detection systems and fingerprint systems it is shown that it applicable on a variety of information security products.

With recent growing of application service, servers are required to sustain great amount of data and to handle them quickly: besides, data must be processed securely. The main security algorithm used in security services of server is AES(Advanced Encryption Standard - 2001 published by NIST), which is widely accepted in the world market for superiority of performance. In Korea, NSRI(National Security Research Institute) has developed ARIA(Academy, Research Institute, Agency) algorithm in 2004 and LEA(Lightweight Encryption Algorithm) algorithm in 2012. In this paper, we show advantage of LEA by comparing performance with AES and ARIA in various servers.
