Recognition of Radar Emitter Signals Based on SVD and AF Main Ridge Slice

  • Recognition of radar emitter signals is one of core elements in radar reconnaissance systems. A novel method based on singular value decomposition (SVD) and the main ridge slice of ambiguity function (AF) is presented for attaining a higher correct recognition rate of radar emitter signals in case of low signal-to-noise ratio. This method calculates the AF of the sorted signal and ascertains the main ridge slice envelope. To improve the recognition performance, SVD is employed to eliminate the influence of noise on the main ridge slice envelope. The rotation angle and symmetric Holder coefficients of the main ridge slice envelope are extracted as the elements of the feature vector. And kernel fuzzy c-means clustering is adopted to analyze the feature vector and classify different types of radar signals. Simulation results indicate that the feature vector extracted by the proposed method has satisfactory aggregation within class, separability between classes, and stability. Compared to existing methods, the proposed feature recognition method can achieve a higher correct recognition rate.

Modulation Recognition of MIMO Systems Based on Dimensional Interactive Lightweight Network

  • Automatic modulation recognition is the core algorithm in the field of modulation classification in communication systems. Our investigations show that deep learning (DL) based modulation recognition techniques have achieved effective progress for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. However, network complexity is always an additional burden for high-accuracy classifications, which makes it impractical. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a low-complexity dimensional interactive lightweight network (DilNet) for MIMO systems. Specifically, the signals received by different antennas are cooperatively input into the network, and the network calculation amount is reduced through the depth-wise separable convolution. A two-dimensional interactive attention (TDIA) module is designed to extract interactive information of different dimensions, and improve the effectiveness of the cooperation features. In addition, the TDIA module ensures low complexity through compressing the convolution dimension, and the computational burden after inserting TDIA is also acceptable. Finally, the network is trained with a penalized statistical entropy loss function. Simulation results show that compared to existing modulation recognition methods, the proposed DilNet dramatically reduces the model complexity. The dimensional interactive lightweight network trained by penalized statistical entropy also performs better for recognition accuracy in MIMO systems.

A Novel Self-Learning Filters for Automatic Modulation Classification Based on Deep Residual Shrinking Networks

  • Automatic modulation classification is a critical algorithm for non-cooperative communication systems. This paper addresses the challenging problem of closed-set and open-set signal modulation classification in complex channels. We propose a novel approach that incorporates a self-learning filter and center-loss in Deep Residual Shrinking Networks (DRSN) for closed-set modulation classification, and the Opendistance method for open-set modulation classification. Our approach achieves better performance than existing methods in both closed-set and open-set recognition. In closed-set recognition, the self-learning filter and center-loss combination improves recognition performance, with a maximum accuracy of over 92.18%. In open-set recognition, the use of a self-learning filter and center-loss provide an effective feature vector for open-set recognition, and the Opendistance method outperforms SoftMax and OpenMax in F1 scores and mean average accuracy under high openness. Overall, our proposed approach demonstrates promising results for automatic modulation classification, providing better performance in non-cooperative communication systems.

  • 생체 정보를 이용한 사용자 인증은 차세대 인증 방법으로서 기존의 인증 시스템에서 급진적으로 사용되고 있는 인증 방법이다. 대부분의 생체 인증 시스템은 수집된 생체 정보가 가지는 노이즈로 인한 문제, 데이터의 품질에 대한 문제, 인식률의 한계 등 많은 문제점들을 가지고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 본 논문에서는 비선형적인 실제 데이터를 정확하게 처리하기 위해 비선형기법인 Dual QML을 사용하고, 또한 정확한 영역을 추출하여 인증의 정확도를 증가시키는 전처리 과정을 추가로 제안하여 정확도 증가뿐만 아니라 성능을 향상시키는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 앞서 발표된 Dual QML은 생체 정보로 얼굴, 장문, 귀를 사용하였다. 본 논문은 앞선 Dual QML 실험에 사용하지 않은 홍채를 생체 정보로 사용하여 홍채 인식을 위한 방법으로도 Dual QML이 우수하다는 것을 보이고자 한다. 마지막으로 실험을 통해 이에 대한 실증을 보이고자 한다.

Weibo Disaster Rumor Recognition Method Based on Adversarial Training and Stacked Structure

  • To solve the problems existing in the process of Weibo disaster rumor recognition, such as lack of corpus, poor text standardization, difficult to learn semantic information, and simple semantic features of disaster rumor text, this paper takes Sina Weibo as the data source, constructs a dataset for Weibo disaster rumor recognition, and proposes a deep learning model BERT_AT_Stacked LSTM for Weibo disaster rumor recognition. First, add adversarial disturbance to the embedding vector of each word to generate adversarial samples to enhance the features of rumor text, and carry out adversarial training to solve the problem that the text features of disaster rumors are relatively single. Second, the BERT part obtains the word-level semantic information of each Weibo text and generates a hidden vector containing sentence-level feature information. Finally, the hidden complex semantic information of poorly-regulated Weibo texts is learned using a Stacked Long Short-Term Memory (Stacked LSTM) structure. The experimental results show that, compared with other comparative models, the model in this paper has more advantages in recognizing disaster rumors on Weibo, with an F1_Socre of 97.48%, and has been tested on an open general domain dataset, with an F1_Score of 94.59%, indicating that the model has better generalization.

KLT를 이용한 얼굴인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Face Recognition by using Karhunen Loeve Transform)

  • 본 연구에서 기존 얼굴추출과 인식의 단점을 색상정보와 KLT를 이용하여 극복하고 얼굴 전체를 특징으로 하는 방법을 제안하였다. 얼굴의 특징은 KLT를 이용하는 PCA(Principal Component Analysis) 주성분 분석방법을 통해 중요한 정보만 추출하였다. 색상정보와 KLT를 이용한 얼굴인식의 방법을 제안함으로써 색상정보를 가진 다양한 크기와 각도의 얼굴에 대하여 90%이상의 인식 효율을 얻을 수 있었다.

Recognition of Car License Plates Using Fuzzy Clustering Algorithm

  • In this paper, we proposed the recognition system of car license plates to mitigate traffic problems. The processing sequence of the proposed algorithm is as follows. At first, a license plate segment is extracted from an acquired car image using morphological features and color information, and noises are eliminated from the extracted license plate segment using line scan algorithm and Grassfire algorithm, and then individual codes are extracted from the license plate segment using edge tracking algorithm. Finally the extracted individual codes are recognized by an FCM algorithm. In order to evaluate performance of segment extraction and code recognition of the proposed method, we used 100 car images for experiment. In the results, we could verify the proposed method is more effective and recognition performance is improved in comparison with conventional car license plate recognition methods.

DMS 모델을 이용한 한국어 음성 인식 (Korean Speech Recognition using Dynamic Multisection Model)

  • In this paper, we proposed an algorithm which used backtracking method to get time information, and it be modelled DMS (Dynamic Multisection) by feature vectors and time information whic are represented to similiar feature in word patterns spoken during continuous time domain, for Korean Speech recognition by independent speaker using DMS. Each state of model is represented time sequence, and have time information and feature vector. Typical feature vector is determined as the feature vector of each state to minimize the distance between word patterns. DDD Area names are selected as recognition wcabulary and 12th LPC cepstrum coefficients are used as the feature parameter. State of model is made 8 multisection and is used 0.2 as weight for time information. Through the experiment result, recognition rate by DMS model is 94.8%, and it is shown that this is better than recognition rate (89.3%) by MSVQ(Multisection Vector Quantization) method.

Landmark-Guided Segmental Speech Decoding for Continuous Mandarin Speech Recognition

  • In this paper, we propose a framework that attempts to incorporate landmarks into a segment-based Mandarin speech recognition system. In this method, landmarks provide boundary information and phonetic class information, and the information is used to direct the decoding process. To prove the validity of this method, two kinds of landmarks that can be reliably detected are used to direct the decoding process of a segment model (SM) based Mandarin LVCSR (large vocabulary continuous speech recognition) system. The results of our experiment show that about 30% decoding time can be saved without an obvious decrease in recognition accuracy. Thus, the potential of our method is demonstrated.

Mobile Palmprint Segmentation Based on Improved Active Shape Model

  • Skin-color information is not sufficient for palmprint segmentation in complex scenes, including mobile environments. Traditional active shape model (ASM) combines gray information and shape information, but its performance is not good in complex scenes. An improved ASM method is developed for palmprint segmentation, in which Perux method normalizes the shape of the palm. Then the shape model of the palm is calculated with principal component analysis. Finally, the color likelihood degree is used to replace the gray information for target fitting. The improved ASM method reduces the complexity, while improves the accuracy and robustness.
