The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Chinese consumer characteristics as internal inclination on the trust and purchase intention of on-line shopping mall. Two hundred sixty subjects, who were living in Shanghai, China and were university students, were randomly selected for questionnaire. The effective two hundred forty four questionnaires were used to conduct reliability tests for internal consistency and multiple regressions for relationship between independent and dependent variables with SPSS 10.0. The results from this study were as follows. It showed a significant relationship between the on-line shopping experience, consumer innovation, consumer risk and the trust of on-line shopping mall, however, it didn't show any significant relationship between convenience shopping orientation and the trust of on-line shopping mall. Also, It showed a significant relationship between the on-line shopping experience, consumer innovation and the distrust of on-line shopping mall, however, it didn't show any significant relationship between consumer risk, convenience shopping orientation and the distrust of on-line shopping mall. It showed a significant relationship between purchase intension, the consumer risk and on-line shopping experience which appeared a high trust in on-line shopping mall, however, it didn't show any significant relationship between purchase intension and consumer innovation which appeared a high distrust. Therefore, it could be concluded that in China it is decreasing to purchase through the internet shopping mall every year because the group of consumer innovation, which most of internet users in China belong to it, distrusts the internet shopping mall.

Middle age is the time of the most important meaning in life and also the time of physical and mental change, which offers new social activities for self-development. Middle-aged women form the major consumer class in current clothing industry, but few have been performed on this so far. The researcher studied in many aspect on the clothes which middle-aged women need to wear during this period of change. Thus this study is executed to examine what benefits middle-aged women pursue in clothing attitudes and the relationship among clothing pursuit benefit and their somatotype compensation and image orientation. The research performed the theoretical study and practical study simultaneously. The subjects are 238 middle-aged women between 35 and 49 years old in September, 2004. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The attitude of women's clothing patterns in relation with image consist of two factor structures. One is the body image and the other is the appearance image. 2. As a result of researching the attitude for choosing clothes of each body group by Rohrer index, the women with gross body group take a top priority for the lower-body compensation, while the women with slim body group take a top priority for volume compensation. 3. As a result of researching the cognitive somatotype group's attitude for choosing clothes, gross body group takes a top priority for lower-body compensation and upper-body compensation. 4. As a result of researching the relationship between real somatotype and cognitive somatotype by Rohrer index, middle-aged women think of themselves as being fatter than present state. And choosing the clothes, the body misunderstanding group of women usually show that they consider more compensation than the normally body understanding group. 5. The evaluation on real somatotype, cognitive somatotype, ideal somatotype influences on the body cathexis.
Retail firms have begun to pursue the marketing strategies, which stimulate consumers' sensibility and lead people to purchase their products. The visible effects of visual merchandising (VM) arouse consumers' interest and play an effective role in having busy people efficiently choose products. Apparel retail stores such as SPA use the offline store to be the experiential environment of their branding. Consumers' sensitivity and response toward various visual merchandising strategies needs to be accessed. The purpose of this study is to identify VM consciousness and VM evaluation attribute factors. Relationship of such variables with other variables were accessed. As consequence variables, product satisfaction and unplanned purchase behavior were included in the study. An empirical survey data was collected from men and women of various ages. Results indicated that VM consciousness and VM evaluation attribute factors were not correlated with consumer demographic variables. VM evaluation attributes were factored into appropriateness, attractiveness and functionality dimensions. Clothing involvement and brand orientation significantly influenced product satisfaction and unplanned purchase. The direct and indirect effect (via VM consciousness) were significant. For unplanned purchase, brand orientation only had indirect effect. The influence of VM evaluation attribute factors were significant. Appropriateness had stronger effect on product satisfaction whereas attractiveness had stronger effect on unplanned behavior. Functionality dimension had only indirect effect on product satisfaction but did not show significant direct and indirect effects on unplanned purchase. This study identified the pivotal role of VM consciousness in various shopping and purchasing circumstances in offline retail store of apparel brands.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends in the field of Blockchain that is one of the core technologies of the 4th Industry, and present future research orientation. In this study, (1) Blockchain technologies in business perspective are summarized; (2) analysis criteria of Blockchain fields are established; and (3) results of analysis are presented and future research orientation is proposed. Major findings are as follows: (1) related research is being activate with the advent of the 3rd generation blockchain which aims for distributed applications. (2) major concerns of the technology (engineering) field is blockchain scalability and of the business (application) field is blockchain-based supply chain traceability. (3) Compared to overseas, domestic research results are very poor. (4) to catchup the gap, the spreading of awareness that blockchain is not a technology but a business means is required.
Many companies are trying to enter into overseas markets to overcome the limited size of domestic markets. However, there are many barriers to enter the overseas markets such as difficulty to find buyers and make contract with them, payment risks, unfriendly foreign policies, and etc. Companies have used to various strategies to get opportunities of overseas markets. One of them is UN public procurement. Despite many advantages, limited number of companies are participating in the procurement. Individual governments are providing policies to support local companies to participate in the UN public procurement. However it is not easy to encourage firms, especially SMEs to participate in the procurement. This study is designed to analyze firm and product determinants of participating in UN public procurement. Based on literature reviews and empirical findings, this study shows social responsibility and global orientation can play an important role regarding the participation. In addition, the positive relationship between UN public procurement participation and sustainability in a given firm could be empirically supported. Last, we suggest combining country- and industry-level data to investigate UN public procurement participation as an interesting topic for future research. This study represents various determinants to encourage UN public procurement participation. They may contribute to enhance firm performance such as sustainability.

This study approached the factors affecting companies's sustainable growth by overcoming the valley of death after starting a business from the perspective of technology, market, location, cluster, and INC model, and conducted a case study on success and failure companies in Daedeok Cluster to explore the adequacy and suitability of the main factors of previous studies. The results of this study suggest that location accessibility-based collaboration between innovators is important for the growth of companies in the cluster, and balanced growth such as innovative ideas, market needs, and capability to meet needs is necessary for companies' products and services to create innovative value in the market. This study is worth in that it presents factors for sustainable corporate growth through the analyses of success and failure cases for companies in the Daedeok Cluster. In addition, the research is successful in that it proposed a policy support plan based on collaboration among companies to foster companies in the cluster.
This study analyzes the effects of success factors for starting business of food service industry on management performance giving executive suggestions. For this study, a survey was conducted to 270 restaurant founders in Daegu city. 237 copies of questionnaire were selected to take a regression analysis to test the hypotheses. The results of the test are as follows. First, the founder's personal characteristic factor has influence on business result. Concretely speaking, those who have enterprising characteristics proved to have influence on management performance. Second, physical surroundings, service and marketing factors had significant effects on business performance. Service factor among them was the most influential factor on business performance. Third, food quality and health-orientation factors had significant influence on business performance. Consequently, it is important to develop recipes for improving health and high-quality food materials because of well-being trends among people.
The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the differences in employment trends between enterprises and job seekers related to the 4th Industrial Revolution, focusing on the 11 elements of recruitment process. As a method of analysis, a methodology suitable for the convergence research methodology was used by mixing social network analysis and variance analysis, and significant results were derived. First, while large enterprises emphasized organizational culture and job analysis, small enterprises emphasized an interview from the perspective of practitioners. Second, in both manufacturing and service industries, enterprises emphasized interviews and documents, but job seekers emphasized job analysis. Third, the proportion of the recruitment process was found to be greater in the manufacturing industry than in the service industry. Fourth, it was found that enterprises accounted for a larger proportion of the recruitment process than job seekers. This showed an interaction effect between the subject and the industry sector. Therefore, the evaluation of the recruitment process between enterprises and job seekers was found to be very different.
According to the structural contingency theories, organizational structures are determined by such a contingency variables as organizational environment, technology, size, power and strategy. Therefore, many scholor believed that organizational effectiveness will be maximized in the condition of the fit between organizational structure and its contingency variables. But contingency theories have limitations in explaining of the manager's discretion by way of environmental determinism. In 1972, Child introduced strategic choice theory, and this perspective spurred significant, systematic studies of the influence of the managerial voluntary will on the organizational performance. Especially, the question of whether tap managers have an impact on business performance has been addressed by the strategic leadership theory that demonstrates strong associations between the characteristics of top managers, strategic orientation. Therefore, this study has investigated a theoretical literature and an empirical survey that explains the impact of top manger characteristics and organizational characteristics about strategic orientation. In order tn do that, this study develops a research model on the subjects, designed manager's characteristics, strategic typology. Managerial characteristics could be operationalized in terms of demographic measures. In this study, strategic orientation was classified using the Miles & Snow typology. This research model provides hypotheses. Hypotheses H1: The demographic characteristics of the tap manager will differ according to the types of strategic types. H2: The organizational characteristics of the firm will differ according to the types of strategic types. To test these hypotheses, this study conducted questionaire surveys on 108 firms in the Korea national wide. This study has utilized ANOVA, Chi-square analysis, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis for testing the hypotheses. The major findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, this study builds on the central tenent of cotingency theory in provide a comprehensive explanation of the process by which top manager's influence. Second, Manager's characteristics(demographics) are different from each other according to 4 strategic types(Prospector, Defender, Analyzer, Reactor). Third, Organizational characteristics are different from each other according to 4 strategic types. In conclusion, the major contributions of this study are to examine the development of a more comprehensive theoretical framework in the strategic leadership theory and to analyze their contingent relationships among managerial characteristics, organizational characteristics and strategic types in the context of Korea's industry.
Objectives: This study applied the co-orientation model to investigate the degree to which dental hygienists and dentists recognize the efficiency of dental hygienists' non-surgical periodontal therapy work; the basic data can be provided as a systematic arrangement that can be applied and extended to dental clinics to raise mutual understanding. Methods: Independent sample t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and paired t-tests were conducted with a total of 888 subjects (530 dental hygienists and 358 dentists) using SPSS Statistics 22.0. Results: The analysis showed that, dental hygienists had higher recognition of the efficiency of their work (p<0.001) than dentists, with respect to all items(p>0.05). With respect to subjective agreement, dental hygienists estimated lower recognition among dentists than other dental hygienists and dentists estimated higher recognition among dentists than dental hygienists. With respect to accuracy, dentists' estimation was lower than the actual recognition among dental hygienists and dental hygienists' estimation was higher than the actual recognition among dentists in all cases except the efficiency of dental hygienists' patient education work and constant learning. Conclusions: There was wide gap between dental hygienists and dentists in recognition of the efficiency of dental hygienists' non-surgical periodontal therapy work. Actions must be taken to raise mutual understanding between dental hygienists and dentists regarding dental hygienists' non-surgical periodontal therapy work, to spread this recognition throughout the dental industry, and to implement systematic support at dental clinics.
