Analysis of the Present Situations of Internal Fashion Industry Using Animation Character (애니메이션캐릭터를 이용한 국내 패션산업의 현황 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was known the animation history, function of the animation character, the development process of the animation industry, and the industry process of the animation character in the center of the animation character of America and Japan occupying the internal character market largely. Also, it was examined how the animation character was used in the fashion industry and was recognized the importance of the character industry, and it was seen the design development of the fashion character in the future and the proceeding method of the fashion marketing strategy. The following this study was examined by using the various newspaper and magazine, the internal and external reference. In the result of this study, the animation character created in the TV and the screen is extended the related industry and is developed the various cultural products, and it is recognized as the product of the highly added value. The internal animation characters are mostly the characters of America and Japan, but now the internal animation productions is recognized the importance of the animation industry and is producted the animation to attack the internal and external market. The potential of the animation character was really excessive. The excellent animation product was important but the animation character and the activity of the accompaniment industry related to it was important. Also the animation character mostly had influence on the fashion industry.

  • Many products related to automobile and airplane industry have been manufactured by semi-solid forging. In this paper finite element analysis of product by combined extrusion in semi-solid state was performed and its experimental verification using A356 was conducted. distribution of solid fraction was analyzed and compared with the experimental microstructure in the product. In addition, distribution of temperature in the product was analysed by finite element method.

  • It is frequent to develop the fashion product through predict purchasing needs of consumers in Textile and Fashion Industry. If failed in its prediction, that is, if consumers would not purchase the product, there comes some problems that big sale is inevitable or stock increase tremendously. Otherwise, Quick Response System allows that the company observe the consumer's needs consistently and design products and establish manufacture schedule rapidly so that they could prohibit the products unnecessarily stocked. Consumer's preference is collected and analyzed through the data generated by POS system, and this is provided to the related manufacturer through network in realtime, so that the manufactures could merchandise, produce and provide the products according to the consumer's need. Thus, this study developed POS system-education program, that is, the merchandising of apparel product, product by prediction, retailer, purchase behavior, reduction in stock inventory and product lead time, cooperative system between apparel company and retailer, and conformation to the consumer's needs are included in this program, through binding the new technology in textile and fashion industry for the purpose of Quick Response system.

Data and reliability evaluation in industry (산업체에서의 데이터와 신뢰성평가)

  • In the case of manufacturing companies, various types of data are collected. Many of these data can be used as useful information for product reliability evaluation. In this study, we first look at data that can be collected by a manufacturing company and related to products, technology, finance, and customers. Next, we will look at the company's business management system, scientific journals, test and marketing survey data, etc., as sources of data. Next, look at what kind of data is collected over the product life cycle to evaluate the reliability of the product. In the development stage of the product, reliability test is performed for each component, and reliability data is collected by performing reliability test at the subsystem and system level. On the other hand, at the manufacturing stage, data on the functional test and the design change test of the product are collected, and at the field stage, the problem of the product is detected in the field and collected in the form of data. Finally, let's look at what you need to do to make a reasonable analysis later in your data collection.

Changes in product innovation strategy reflecting industry evolutionary phases and dynamic capabilities in the Korea Wireless Internet industry (산업진화단계와 동태적역량에 따른 제품혁신 전략의 변화: 한국 무선인터넷 산업을 중심으로)

  • Production innovation capabilities are critical to the survival and growth of firms. This paper investigates industrial dynamics and dynamic capabilities of firms by looking at how an industry evolution process influences firms' product innovation strategy and how dynamic capabilities affect firms' product innovation process. Korea Wireless Internet industry shows a full cycle of industry evolution process including introduction phase, growth phase, maturity phase, and decline phase using by dynamic technological and market changes. 7 listed companies in Korea Wireless Internet industry were selected. We have conducted multiple case studies based upon in depth interviews. Empirical results show that different phases of industry evolution influence firms' strategy of product innovation. Dynamic capabilities are also appears to be very important to the survival and growth of a firm.

The Efficacy of Ampule Containing Herbal Extract for Improving Skin Wrinkles in Women (한약재 추출물 함유 앰플의 주름개선 효능에 관한 기초 임상연구)

  • Objectives : This study was performed to evaluate the efficacy of ampule containing herbal extract(Ulmus davidiana, Ginkgo biloba, Perilla ocymoides, Morus alba, Glycyrrhiza uralensis (licorice), and Angelica gigas) on skin wrinkles in adult women with facial wrinkles. Methods : A total of 12 women, 30 to 46 years of age, with wrinkles in the corner of eyes, applied ampule containing herbal extract twice daily for up to 12 weeks. Silicon replicas of right crow's feet area and antecubital fossa were taken before use of test product and at 4, 8 and 12 weeks. The replicas were analyzed by optical profilometry with Skin Visiometer SV600. The wrinkle and roughness parameters, R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 were calculated and statistically analyzed. In addition, a subjective evaluation of product efficacy was conducted by patient's assessment. Results : The mean values of all the skin roughness parameters were decreased at 4-week, and decreased significantly at 8 and 12-week except R4 at 12-week after test product use. The subjective evaluation of wrinkle by patient's assessment was also improved. However, one patient noted stiffness of face after use of test product. Conclusions : These study suggested that the application of ampule containing herbal extract twice daily for 12 weeks may effectively improve the facial wrinkles without severe side effect.

  • Home appliances go through a couple of packaging stages from the plant to consumers. The primary packaging, inner packaging for each part, happens for protection after products leave the plant. The secondary packaging happens in the unit of product, ensuring cushioning packaging to protect products from movement. The final tertiary packaging is for transportation and delivery. Each stage of product packaging, however, costs a lot of money because of disposable packaging materials used in each stage including vinyl, tapes, Styrofoam, and corrugated cardboards. Discarded packaging materials also cause environmental problems. In an effort to come up with a measure to solve those problems, this study proposed a plan to minimize logistics costs with semi-permanent packaging materials to replace disposable ones including Styrofoam, vinyl, and corrugated cardboards in the stages of inner packaging, cushioning packaging, product unit-based packaging, and transportation. The study also developed a model to cut down logistics costs by reducing various packaging stages including the primary, secondary, and tertiary stage only to the secondary one through module-type products instead of the transportation- and delivery-type ones, as well as demonstrated the excellence of the study through numerical analysis.

Fashion Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Image, Product Preference, and Purchase Intention: Chinese Consumers' Perspectives

  • In this age of information, companies are losing grip of their image. Perhaps this explains the reason why corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become somewhat of a buzzword among established fashion industry leaders-companies seem determined to show stakeholders that they have values, are responsible, and they are driven by more by values than the prospects of financial gain. This study assessed the effect of CSR have in the fashion industry on the corporate image, product preference, and purchase intention in China. Three hundred native residents in China participated in an online survey from 1-12th Jan 2017. The results were as follows: (1) CSR consists of five components; economic responsibility, ethical responsibility, environmental protection, consumer protection, and philanthropic responsibility. (2) Both economic and ethical responsibilities have significant positive effects on corporate image, while perceived CSR does not have significant effect on product preference or purchase intention. (3) Consumers' product preference and perceptions regarding corporate image influence their intention on making a purchase. These findings might operationally assist Korean fashion corporations to identify and address the critical aspects of CSR management which will improve their image as good corporate citizens and foster favorable attitudes toward fashion products from China. Further results and direction of future research were discussed.

  • In apparel industry, the worksheet or product specification document has the function of products design. Drawing up worksheet exactly is important to quality control of apparel products. Every company needs to manage the product data of design-centric to establish TQM environment. In order to control the quality data of design-centric, an apparel worksheet system was developed by using the function of product data management system.

Qualitative Study on the Benefit Sought and Brand Loyalty by Product Category of the Luxury Goods Through In-depth Interviews with Professionals in Fashion Industry

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the benefits sought by luxury good customers contingent on product category, and to understand the relationship between the benefits sought and brand loyalty. A qualitative approach was used; therefore in-depth interviews were conducted with seven panels of professionals in the luxury industry. The findings are as follows: 1) Handbag customers mainly seek the social benefits in order to express their social status by purchasing well-known, easily-recognizable brands. 2) Shoe customers primarily seek the practical-functional benefits, which are comfort and function. 3) Small Leather Goods customers seek the social benefits for themselves and as gifts for others. 4) Brand loyalty for handbag customers is reported to be low, as their primary goals are the social benefits. Rather than devoting themselves to one specific brand, handbag customers prefer to purchase from various brands. 5) Shoe customers have reportedly higher brand loyalty, as they tend to come back to brands when they are satisfied with the benefits they pursue. The findings of this study provide more information on the practical implications of luxury good customer purchasing habits. Firstly, customers pursue different benefits depending on product category, and secondly, brand loyalty differs by customers' benefits.
