온라인 파라미터 추정에 의한 PID 제어기의 동조에 관한 연구 (A study on tuning for PID-controllers based on on-line parameter estimation)

  • It has been recognized as important subject by users that PID-Controllers widely used in industrial processes must be well-tuned, In this paper, We present an automatic tuning method for PID-Controllers which is based on discrete parameter estimation and application of conventional tuning-rules. The method is easy to implement on microprocessor because critical values are obtained by the mathematical computation. Also, it permits quick on-line tuning. Simulation results show that most processes are well tuned by the suggested tuning method in this paper.

Web을 이용한 모니터링 시스템의 개발 (Development of Web Based Monitoring Systems)

  • SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is applied to develop a web based monitoring system for manufacturing processes. SNMP agents in manufacturing facilities collects monitoring data from machine controllers and send them to a web-server to be stored in a database by an SNMP managing agent. Clients can access these data using any web-browser. This study developed these agents and MIB (Management Information Base), a protocol to represent the status of machines, that can be used appropriately to monitor manufacturing processes.

  • Synthetic membrane processes are widely used in many industrial applications for concentrating and fractionating various components in solutions and suspensions. Advantages for using these processes include no phase change, direct separation without the use of additives, exploitation of large property differences.

  • Various solid particle materials are treated in the industrial processes including fixed-beds or moving grate beds, and modeling approaches have been widely applied to the processes to predict and evaluate their performance. For this study, the modeling approach was applied to iron ore sintering process with various improvement measures. Based on the previous modeling approach, the changes and effects of the improvement measures were discussed at the point of controlling the combustion environment in the bed.

  • In the present paper, the data management of casting processes has been discussed. In order to construct a smart factory in the foundry industry, understanding of the whole casting processes has to be in the first place. Casting process data can be obtained at the kiosk operated by casting engineers and data acquired by sensors in the foundry facility. However, preprocessing of the casting process data must be carried out in order to analyze the casting process by the data. Techniques and some examples for data preprocessing in the foundry was introduced.

  • Objectives: The goal of this study is to standardize industry, process, and job within work environment measurement information. Methods: We selected 180 work environment measurement reports on 30 industries from a database monitored from 2014 to 2016 by the Korea Industrial Health Association. Ten industrial hygienists, each with over five years of experience in measurement, conducted a primary standardization of 180 reports. Two professional industrial hygienists with more than 20 years of experience each reviewed and revised the results of the primary standardization. We also examined the validity on the usefulness of the standardized database by the two industrial hygienists. Results: The final standardization results were classified into eight major categories, 23 sub-major categories, 39 minor categories, 53 unit categories and 70 sub-unit categories in the Korean Standard Industrial Classification (KSIC) 10th revision. A total of 161 processes were standardized, and there were 148 processes with K2B codes. Standard job was coded into 13 job groups including operator, automobile maintenance, nurse, maintenance, manager, excavating machine operator, forklift driver, radiologist, clinical pathologist, signer, researcher, kitchen assistant, and concrete reinforcement ironworker. Conclusions: Although the standardized information in this study may be only a part of the total information, it can be useful for improvement of the K2B system. Additional research is needed for an ongoing clean-up of data in the K2B and re-calibration and reclassification of standard processes until the future national exposure monitoring system is fully established.

  • Microforming technology becomes crucial in variety of industries as up-to-date machinery products and parts are miniaturized Therefore research on micro forming processes are actively conducted because of its high productivity, high precision and efficienct material usage. Since friction during microforming has greater influence than macroforming, hydrostatic pressing is much more efficient. In this paper minimization of bur during fine sheet shear forming and hydrostatic process of multi-filament extrusion to obtain fine wire of micro-order have been conducted.
