  • In transverse flux linear induction motors(TFLIM), The loops of the working flux lie in planes transverse to the direction of motion. With a poly-phase primary winding, The TFLIMs has both electro-magnetic propulsion and levitation force. Thus, TFLIM a will be useful in high speed ground transportation systems. In this paper, The characteristics of a single aide TFLIM are analysed by using electromagnetic field theory.

  • Rated frequency of inverter driven induction motor for a traction system can be chosen lower or higher. Traction motor with higher rated frequency can be lighter than the lower. But the maximum torque must be checked, because it is very important for starting and acceleration and it should be reduced with high frequency operation. In the paper, two motors with different rated frequency are designed and compared.

  • The harmonics are injurious on the operation of the motor, electric instruments etc. In this paper, it is certified the capability of the electric measuring devices at the input/output of inverter. And it is measured the harmonics of the voltage and current waveforms. Also, this paper presents the efficiency of the inverter's power conversion by measuring the fundamental and total power at the input, DC bus and output.

  • In electric motor coaches, when the adhesion force coefficient between rail and driving wheel decreases suddenly, the electric motor coach has slip phenomena. The characteristics of adhesion force coefficient is strongly affected by the conditions between rails and driving wheels, such as moisture, dust, and oil on the rails and so on. This paper proposes the vector control structure for the improved re-adhesion control with paralleled control of induction motors under the sudden variation of the adhesion force coefficient.

  • 본 논문에서는 유도 전동기의 V/f 운전 시 동손을 최소로 하는 제어 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 V/f 운전 시 부하에 따라 최소 동손 제어가 가능하도록 고정자 전압 크기를 가변하여 부하 변동에 따른 동특성 향상과 효율적인 구동이 가능하게 하였다. 5HP 유도 전동기 구동시스템에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 기법의 효용성을 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 스파스 매트릭스 컨버터로 구동되는 유도전동기에 과도응답특성 개선을 위한 모델예측제어 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 유도전동기의 파라미터를 이용하여 구한 예측 토크와 자속을 통하여 비용함수를 최소화하는 최적의 스위칭 상태를 결정한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 제어 기법의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • 본 논문은 유도전동기 고정자 자속 기준 벡터제어에서, 슬립 관계식과 순환 최소자승법을 이용하여 회전자 저항 및 고정자 과도 인덕턴스를 동시에 추정하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 모의실험을 수행하여, 추정 회전자 저항과 고정자 과도 인덕턴스가 제안된 방법에 의해 각각 실제 값에 수렴함을 보인다.

  • This paper presents a vector control method for the parallel-connected motor drive system. In this paper new estimation scheme of rotor flux position is presented to reduce sensitivity due to load difference between the motors. To confirm the validity of the proposed control method, we compare a simulation result of the proposed control method with that of the conventional indirect vector control method. The simulation results show that the proposed control method is effective the step change in load torque.

  • The design criteria of Linear Induction Motors (LIM) for Auto-Conveyor System are proposed by analyzing of starting characteristics using an equivalent circuit. By contrasting the solution of the equivalent circuit with that of Maxwell's equation, we induced the parameters of the circuit. Also, the utility of the design criteria has been shown by comparing the basic characteristics with experimental values.
