This paper suggests a balanced scorecard (BSC) framework for measuring and evaluating the performance of knowledge workers in professional service firms(PSFs) which are typical knowldege-based organizations. As a strategic learning system, the balanced scorecard allows business leaders to drive and modify their business strategies based on the balanced measurement of key performance indicators(KPIs), which are basically divided into four domains such as financial achievement, customer orientation, internal business process, and innovation and learning. Conducting a focused case study on performance evaluation of knowledge workers from a balanced viewpoint, we could evaluate their competency and potential in more comprehensive manner. We also employ the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) approach for derive relative weights of key performance indicators and link it to a spreadsheet model for rating the individual performance of knowledge workers in a systematic way.

The satellite-based ionospheric model consists of local first-order plane function parameters for individual satellites and provides excellent accuracy in the flat ionospheric environment of the Korean Peninsula. This paper analyzes the performance of such model under the rapid changes in the ionosphere. Rapid changes in the ionosphere were observed in Korea from September to October 2014, and a satellite-based ionosphere model was applied to Wide Area Differential GPS (WADGPS) to analyze the navigation performance and the performance of estimating ionospheric delay errors. After processing the test data, it was confirmed that there was a deterioration in navigation performance and extrapolation performance in low-latitude areas and analyzed the cause.

Purpose: Recently, renewable energy system has been widely used to reduce the energy consumption and CO2 emission of building. A photovoltaic/thermal(PVT) system is a kind of efficient energy uses, which is combined with photovoltaic module and solar thermal collector. PVT system removes heat from PV module by through thermal fluid to raise the performance efficiency of the PV system. However, though PVT system has the merit of the improved efficiency in theoretical approach, there have been few performance analysis for PVT system using the dynamic energy simulation. In this study, in order to establish the optimum design method of this system, simulation was conducted by using individual system modules. Method: For the dynamic simulation, TRNSYS17 was used and local weather data was utilized. Furthermore, the system performance in various installation condition was calculated by case studies. Result: As a result, the amount of electric generation and heat production in each case was found by the simulation. The gap of system performance was also evident according to the installation condition.

Since companies are increasingly aware of the importance of upstream and downstream organizations to their performance, companies' leaders would also like to influence operations with supply chain partners. This paper aims to study the SCM performance and the influencing factors, that is Buyer's leadership and Vendor's relationship-orientation. Also, I try to examine the mediating effect of relationship-orientation between leadership and SCM performance. The results of this study can be summarized as follow; (1) The charismatic trait and individual consideration in transformational leadership factors, and contingent reward in transactional leadership factors positively effected to the relational-orientation. But intellectual stimulation and management-by-exception did not effected to relational-orientation. (2) Only contingent reward in transactional leadership factors was significantly related to the SCM performance. (3) Relational-orientation mediated between SCM leadership and SCM performance.

In this study, in regard to fiber reinforced mortar mixing steel fiber and 4types of organic fiber, impact test was carried out. Because to predict fracture reduction performance with flexural, tensile strength when types of fiber were different as impact reduction performance of concrete is closely related with toughness such as flexural strength, tensile strength and fracture energy etc. As a result, enhancement of toughness by fiber reinforcement controls the spall of rear. On the other hand in case of steel fiber relatively turned up high toughness in appropriate load compared with organic fiber but in same mixing rate, impact reduction performance by projectile showed low performance due to few number of an individual of mixing.

This Paper examines the effect of IT knowledge and IT communication on the operational performance of small firms. Small firms which could be defined firms with less than 50 people in total lags behind medium and large firms in computerization. In order to fill up the computerization gap resulted from size differences, Korean government has been promoting the 'Networking Small Firms' project since 2001. Survey data with 698 small firms in Korea, we could find that If knowledge and IT communication significantly contributed to the operational performance of small firms. Internal process performance is affected by individual IT knowledge, traditional communication, and e-mail communication. Customer performance is affected by above three factors, organizational IT knowledge and internet/EDI communication. Interestingly, financial performance is not affected by traditional communication but only IT knowledge and IT communication.

Social noise survey and auditory experiment on residential noises such as floor impact, air-borne, bathroom, drainage and traffic noises were conducted to classily a noise insulation Performance in apartment building. The survey results showed that annoyance among subjective responses to residential noises was most greatly affecting to satisfaction with noises. In the survey, boundary limit between satisfaction and dissatisfaction was also determined. Auditory experiments was also undertaken to determine noise insulation performance according to the percent of satisfaction for individual noise source. Result of auditory experiment showed that the noise insulation performance for floor impact, airborne, drainage and traffic noise corresponding to 40 % satisfaction is 49 dB (L$_{i,Fmax,AW}$), 48 dB (R'w), N-41, and N-40, respectively. Finally, classes of noise insulation performance in apartment building were proposed according to satisfaction with noises

The performance and reliability of foreign servomotors and domestic servomotors for manufacturing robots were compared and verified. The mass productivity was confirmed by satisfying the requirements of the demanding companies. The servomotor was designed in consideration of mass productivity while satisfying the requirements of the demanding company. It was mounted on a real robot to check its performance and reliability. To secure mass-production performance, we designed and manufactured easy-to-manufacture parts and jigs to manufacture servomotors and achieved the goal of the mass-production evaluation of servomotors through individual performance evaluation, robot mounting test evaluation, and supplementation.

There have been two dominant paradigms in understanding and modeling an expert's decision-making behavior: output analysis and process-tracing. While the two paradigms are complementary, they have not been used yet in a combined manner. This study extends the previous research work in the two paradigms to inductive modeling research by 1) analyzing individual experts' decision strategies, 2) comparing performance of four popular inductive modeling methods, and 3) matching their performance against the type of decision strategy employed by experts.
