인양홀을 이용한 외부 강선 보강 철근 콘크리트 보의 거동 특성 (Structural Behavior of RC Beam Strengthened with External Tendons Using Lifting Hole Anchorage System)

  • 인양홀을 이용한 정착장치는 손상된 구조물에 내하력을 증가시키기 위해 사용되어지며, 시공이 간편하고 보강효율이 좋은 경제적인 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 구조물에 손상을 입히지 않으면서 충분한 보강효과를 가져 올 수 있는 인양홀 이용 정착장치를 선정하여 그에 대한 적용 가능성을 연구하였다. 실무에서 시공빈도가 높은 인양홀 이용 단부 정착 장치가 적용된 3개의 실험체를 제작하였고, 이에 대한 휨 실험을 수행하여 처짐, 변형률 및 파괴양상을 분석하였다. 인양홀 이용 정착장치가 구비된 철근 콘크리트 보의 보강 성능을 실험적으로 규명하기 위하여 각 실험체의 균열하중, 항복하중, 극한하중, 강선의 응력 증가량, 처짐 및 연성 등을 비교 분석하였다.

프랙탈 지수를 이용한 농촌 경관사진의 정량화 방안 연구 (A Study on the Quantifying of Rural Landscape Picture by Fractal Index)

  • With international attention to the rural landscape, there have been landscape management and conservation efforts. Because it contains characteristics of rural area, rural landscape has been recognized as an important component of rurality. With rural amenity resources survey projects launched since 2005, rural landscape categorization and evaluation such as resource value, use value, beauty, originality, traditionality, maintenance are performed by expert questionnaire survey and 100 rural amenity resources are selected. In this study, we performed fractal analysis for developing evaluation system of the rural landscape photographs. In evaluating processes, main and surrounding landscape are separated and fractal indexes are calculated and analyzed with beauty value scoured by experts. Results show that beauty value is not significantly related with fractal index but differences of main and surrounding landscape fractal index.

충격흡수시설의 탑승자보호 성능평가 기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Injury Criteria of the Occupant Protection Performance of Crush Cushions)

  • The performance of crash cushion systems is certified through the full scale crash tests by the standard for installation and maintenance guidelines for roadside safety appurtenance. The impact severities of impacting vehicles in collision with crash cushion systems are rated by indices THIV and PHD. Crash test results are considered to study the performance of three crash cushion systems. In case of the frontal impact or the offset frontal impact, the results show that THIV values of three systems are very close to the threshold limit for the occupant protection. Also, the results show that PHD would be improper for the occupant protection performance index. In order to improve the occupant protection performance of crash cushions, ASI needs to be included in the impact severity index.

  • Damage estimation of bridge structures has recently received considerable attention in the light of maintenance and retrofitting of existing structures under service loads and after natural disasters. A method for the damage assessment of bridge structures using a damage index technique is presented. The damage index is formulated for the changes of modal properties due to the change of the stiffness. In order to verify the method which is presented, numerical analysis is conducted on simple beam models. Each FE model is subjected to different damage scenarios, i.e., locations and degrees of damage. Results of numerical analysis indicate that the proposed method is capable of detecting inflicted damages using the eigenvalue of only first mode.

  • In order to forecast the progress of the track irregularity, we should observe the long-term track quality and divide a track into some separated divisions which have homogeneous property. For this, we define the division of track which has homogeneous property as a 'Segment' and manage the 'TQI(Track Quality Index)' using track induction data based on each segment. In this study, we introduce some methods of estimating track quality and figure out the TQIs of sample section using new FRA TQI method. In addition, we conducted a basic study of the forecasting model for the progress of track irregularity by analyzing track maintenance data.

  • High speed and large transfer capability of railroad has been an important issue in Korean since KTX opening at 2004. Improvement projects for railway electrification are progressed in the conventional line as well as high speed line because various operation plan is performed such as interaction between high speed line and conventional line and operation of tilting train etc. Especially, railway electrification has many advantages which are cost effective and eco-friendly. But it also has some problems such as construction costs and accidents due to electrification. Therefore this paper developed measuring index of electrification railway benefit. By comparing between diesel and electrical locomotive, the operations of before and after the electrification and measurements quantitative index such as energy efficiency, enlargement of transfer capability, environmental pollution and maintenance and efficiency of operation is presented. In the future, Overall benefit and cost of railway electrification will be analyzed.

Association of chairside salivary aMMP-8 findings with periodontal risk assessment parameters in patients receiving supportive periodontal therapy

  • Purpose: The aim of this retrospective cross-sectional study was to evaluate whether salivary findings of active matrix-metalloproteinase 8 (aMMP-8) chairside (point of care; POC) tests were associated with periodontal risk assessment parameters in patients receiving supportive periodontal therapy (SPT). Methods: A total of 125 patients receiving regular SPT were included, and their records were examined. The following inclusion criteria were used: a diagnosis of chronic periodontitis, at least 1 non-surgical periodontal treatment (scaling and root planning) with following regular SPT (minimum once a year), at least 6 remaining teeth, and clinical and aMMP-8 findings that were obtained at the same appointment. In addition to anamnestic factors (e.g., smoking and diabetes), oral hygiene indices (modified sulcus bleeding index [mSBI] and approximal plaque index), periodontal probing depth simultaneously with bleeding on probing, and dental findings (number of decayed, missing, and filled teeth) were recorded. Salivary aMMP-8 levels were tested using a commercial POC test system (Periomarker, Hager & Werken, Duisburg, Germany). Statistical analysis was performed using the t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, Fisher's exact test, and ${\chi}^2$ test, as appropriate (P<0.05). Results: Only the mSBI was significantly associated with positive salivary aMMP-8 findings (aMMP-8 positive: $27.8%{\pm}20.9%$ vs. aMMP-8 negative: $18.0%{\pm}14.5%$; P=0.017). No significant associations were found between aMMP-8 and smoking, diabetes, periodontal parameters, or parameters related to the maintenance interval (P>0.05). Conclusions: Salivary aMMP-8 chairside findings were not associated with common parameters used for periodontal risk assessment in patients receiving SPT. The diagnostic benefit of POC salivary aMMP-8 testing in risk assessment and maintenance interval adjustment during SPT remains unclear.

공공부문 성과관리를 위한 도로포장의 서비스수준과 서비스비용 함수 추정 (Estimation of a Level of Service and Cost of Service Function for Road Pavements for Performance Management in the Public Sector)

  • PURPOSES : This study aimed to evaluate the performance of pavement management works and to develop a function for estimating the level of service (LOS) and cost of service (COS) for the systematic and quantitative management of pavement performance in the public sector. METHODS : The International Roughness Index (IRI) was used as the performance index for pavement management. Long-term pavement performance data for a period of 7 years (2007-2014) collected by the National Highway Pavement Management System and historical maintenance budget data published by the South Korean government were used to develop the LOS-COS function. Based on the function, a model for estimating the appropriate budget as well as the network conditions was suggested. RESULTS : There was high degree of correlation between pavement performance and the investment level (R = - 0.74). The developed LOS-COS function suggested that the unit cost to improve the network IRI to 1 m/km was 32.6 billion KRW. Further, the maintenance costs normalized with respect to the LOS levels were LOS-A = 88.2 billion KRW, LOS-B = 55.6 billion KRW, and LOS-C = 23.0 billion KRW. CONCLUSIONS : This study proposes a simple way of developing a LOS-COS function. It also shows how to develop a network budget demand and condition estimation model using the LOS-COS function. In addition, it is the first attempt to evaluate the road maintenance budget in South Korea. It is expected that these results will help in the negotiations between the road managers and budget makers.

  • PSC 박스교에서 긴장재에 대한 조사는 체계적인 방법에 의해서 수행되어야 한다. 대표 긴장재 유형별로 위험 요인을 분석하고 장기적으로 위험도를 낮출 수 있도록 유지관리 계획이 수행되어야 할 예방적 유지관리 활동을 도출하는 것이 중요하다. 하지만 현 유지관리체계에서는 긴장재의 조사 및 보수보강을 위한 다양한 방법론이 연구되어 지고 있으나, 현실적으로 긴장재를 전수조사하는 것에는 어려움이 있다. 따라서 긴장재 선별에 대한 리스크 평가를 국내 PSC 박스교에 적용하기 위해 상태평가 및 유지관리체계에 맞춘 리스크 매트릭스 평가 지표를 제시하였다.

양생온도에 따른 90 MPa 수준의 고강도 철근 콘크리트 보의 휨거동 (Flexural Behavior of High-strength Concrete Beams of 90 MPa According to Curing Temperature)

  • 본 연구에서는 양생조건이 다른 압축강도 90 MPa 수준의 고강도 콘크리트 부재의 휨거동 실험을 수행하였다. 실험변수는 정상 및 저온 양생 조건, 인장 철근량 및 콘크리트 압축강도 수준 등을 고려하였다. 8개의 보 부재를 제작하여 휨 실험을 수행하였으며 균열 간격, 하중-처짐 관계, 하중-변형률 관계 및 연성지수를 파악하였다. 실험결과는 철근량이 증가함에 따라 균열 개수는 증가하고 균열간격은 감소하는 경향을 나타내며, 콘크리트 강도가 높을수록 균열개수가 줄어들기는 하지만 그 효과는 철근량보다는 상당히 작은 것을 알 수 있었다. 설계기준에서 제안된 평균 균열 간격 식과 비교한 결과, 실험결과가 제안식의 결과보다 약간 크게 나타났으나, 제안식은 콘크리트 강도 및 양생조건을 반영하지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 정상 양생된 부재들의 연성지수는 3.36~6.74이며, 저온 양생된 부재들의 연성지수는 1.51~2.82으로 나타나, 저온 양생된 부재들의 거동은 정상 양생된 부재들에 비해서 연성도지수가 저감됨을 확인하였으며, 본 연구와 기존 연구의 연성지수를 비교한 결과, 고강도 콘크리트 부재의 연성지수는 선행연구의 보통강도 콘크리트의 연성지수 보다 크게 나타났으나, 더 구체적인 결과를 파악하기 위해서는 추가연구가 필요하다고 판단된다.
