This paper presents a dynamic force analysis of switched reluctance motor using 2D-transient finite element method. The main exciting of the vibration is the electiromagnetic force in the stator that is calculated Maxwell stress method. The advantage for elimation of vibration of 12/8 SRM was explained by comparing the radial force of 12/8 and 6/4 SRM in both time and frequency domain. In order to effective mitigate the vibration during turning off process, effects of different commutation method were investigated.

Physicochemical properties of oil in water microemulsions containing soybean oil and egg phosphatide were observed for 3 weeks under the storage condition of $4^{\circ}C$ refrigerator. Changes in major fatty acid content, particle size distribution, rheogram, acid value and pH value were measured by gas chromatograph, laser particle sizer, Coulter counter and rheometer. From above experiments following conclusions were obtained; 1) Mean particle diameter was shifted from 240 to 266mm. 2) No significant changes were observed in the content of major fatty acids of soybean oil, rheogram, acid value and pH value.

The line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor has a high efficiency and an advantage in constant speed operation regardless of the effect of load variation. However it is difficult to predict the performance of characteristics accurately, because of the unbalanced starting torque with the initial starting position of the rotor and the generation of a break torque. In this paper the dynamic characteristics of the line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor are described and compared with those of the squirrel-cage induction motor through the simulation to find the characteristics of the permanent magnets and the rotor bars in the line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor.

In this paper, we design a Power System Stabilizer for a Thyristor Controlled Series Capacitor(TCSC-PSS) for enhancement of power system stability. Here, PSS parameters are optimized using Genetic Algorithm(GA) in order to maintain optimal operation of TCSC. Simulation results show that the proposed control technique is superior to a conventional PSS in dynamic responses over the wide range of operating conditions and is convinced robustness and reliableness in view of structure.

Objectives : To study the cervical lordosis and roentgenographic analysis of cervical disc space in neck pain with or without temporomandibular disorder(TMD). Methods : Radiographic measures of cervical lordosis, cervical disc space narrowing were collected, statiscally analyzed. Results : TMD group showed a significant increase in cervical lordotic angle as compared with non-TMD group, whereas no significant change in cervical disc degeneration. Conclusions : The findings from this study suggest that the curvature of the cervical spine is related to the subject's TMD.

Paralytic ileus is one of the common complications in stroke patients. In western medical treatment, surgery or conservative care is used for treating ileus. In this case, patient diagnosed as paralytic ileus had problems of constipation, or abdominal distension. Therefore the patient were treated with Crotonis Fructus(巴豆), and the patient showed improvement in X-ray findings and these symptoms. So we report this case.

Chitosan cross-linked collagen-glycosaminoglyan (CCGM) is an artificial skin substitute made to form a sponge like dimensional matrix. It can be used to facilitate reconstruction of dermal tissue when applied on large wounds such as severe burns. In order to study the toxicological effects of CCGM the cytotoxicity, local irritation and skin sensitization test were carried out according to the standards of ISO 10993. In the cytotoxicity test utilizing LDH and MTT test, both the CCGM and its extract had no toxicity of Balb/c 3T3 cells. The local irritatioin test on rabbit skin demonstrated that CCGM did not promote any harmful when directly applied on skin. In addition, it did not elicit any allergic reaction in the guinea pig maximization test. Based on these results, it is suggested that CCGM is a material without cytotoxicity, local irritation and allergenicity.

Pure esophageal atresia without tracheoesophageal fistula is a uncommon form of congenital malformation of the esophagus, which is able to be suspected by fetal ultrasonograpy before delivery and diagnosed definitely by simple chest X-ray and esophagogram immidiately after delivery. We performed delayed primary repair in 2 cases of pure esophageal atresia by using stomach for conduit in one case and colon in the other case. But there were graft failure in the latter case, so reoperation was performed by using stomach. Postoperatively, two patients showed no stenosis and leakage in anastomotic site and were discharged in good oral intake without dysphagia.

The main results that can be drawn from the thematical analysis, based on 173 geographical names of Dong(洞) in Daegu city, are as follows. Firstly, the origin of the geographical name of Dong is divided into 10 groups such as natural landscape, human landscape, situation, and so on. Thematically, natural landscape is the most important factor among them. In particular, Dong-gu is such a case since Mt. Palgong and Geumho river are widely distributed around the area. Secondly, the origins of the geographical name of Dong in Jung-gu and Buk-gu are mainly concerned with human landscape and situation. Especially, Daegu-Eupseong(大邱邑城) has a great influence on the origin of the geographical name of Dong in Jung-gu. Thirdly, in 1914, the unification of administrative district established new Dongs(洞) and the geographical names of the new Dongs were made by borrowing each word from the existing geographical names of Dong. Fourthly, the geographical names of Dong in Suseong-gu and Dalseo-gu made after 1980s' were made in many cases by utilizing the existing natural landscapes. However, it is identified that Suseong field in Suseong-gu, Seongdang lake and Mt. waryong in Dalseo-gu have been recognized as the important natural landscapes. Lastly, the geographical name of Dong is commonly concerned with historical place names such as Gongsan battle in Dong-gu. It is judged that the geographical names of Dong based on Gongsan battle or a most intriguing piece of legend will make a great contribution on developing the regional tourism by storytelling.
