In-plane 굽힘 조건에서 감육엘보우 거동에 미치는 내압의 영향 (Effect of Internal Pressure on the Behavior of Wall Thinned Elbow under In-Plane Bending)

  • This study is conducted to clarify the effect of internal pressure on the deformation and collapse behaviors of wall thinned elbow under in-plane bending moment. Thus the nonlinear three-dmensional finite element analyses were performed to obtain the moment-rotation curve of elbow contatining various wall thinning defects located at intrados and extrados under in-plane bending (closing and opening modes) with internal pressure of $0{\sim}15MPa.$ From the results of analysis, the effect of internal of collapse moment of elbow on the global deformation behavior of wall thinned elbow was discussed, and the dependence of collapse moment of elbow on the magnitude of internal pressure was investigated under different loading mode, defect location, and defect shape.

소형 도판관 대역통과 여파기의 CAD 설계 (Computer aided design of miniaturized wavegude bandpass filters)

  • Waveguide bandpass filters using E-plane or H-plane discontinuities have been used in many satellite communication systems. Since the transmitter and receiver of such systems tend to be getting smaller, components such as bandpass filters must also be reduced in size. In this paper, in order to reduce the waveguide, itself, of which bandpass filters consist, double plane step waveguide discontinuities are considered. They are analyzed using the mode matching method and the genralized scattering parameter of the cascaded structure is calculated. The characteristics of the bandpass filter which is designed using the reduced size waveguide is optimized by OSA90$^{TM}$. The bandpass filter has a good characteristics and smaller size than those made of the E-plane or H-plane step discontinuities.s.

등기하해석법을 이용한 자유진동 평면구조물의 위상최적화 (Topology Optimization of Plane Structures under Free Vibration with Isogeometric Analysis)

  • Isogeometric concept is introduced to find out the optimum layout of plane structure under free vibration. Eigenvalue problem is formulated and numerically solved in order to obtain natural frequencies and mode shapes of plane structures. For the exact geometric expression of the structure, the Non-Uniform Rational B-spline Surface (NURBS) basis functions is employed and it is also used to define the material density functions. A node-wise design variables is adopted to deal with the updating of material density in topology optimization (TO). The definition of modal strain energy is employed to achieve the maximization of fundamental frequency through its minimization. The verification of the proposed TO technique is performed by a series of benchmark test for plane structures.

  • 본 연구에서는 세 모드 사이의 내부공진을 고려하여 강제진동 중인 보의 비선 형 해석을 다루고자 한다. 이 문제에 관심을 갖게 된 동기는 "연속계의 비선형해석 에서 더 많은 모드를 포함시키면 어떤 결과를 낳게 될 것인가\ulcorner" 라는 질문에서 생겨난 것이다.

  • Stripmap-mode 합성개구레이더의 고전적인 영상 복원기술은 Range-Doppler 알고리즘이다. 하지만 고해상도 Spotlight-mode 합성개구레이더 시스템에서는 Range-Doppler 알고리즘을 적용했을 때 성능이 상당히 나빠지므로 Spotlight-mode에 맞는 별도의 Inversion 알고리즘이 연구되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 Spotlight-mode 합성개구레이더에서 Raw-data를 처리하기 위한 알고리즘 연구를 통해 기존의 평면파 근사 방법을 이용하고 있는 Polar format 알고리즘과 근사 방법을 사용하지 않는 Wavefront Reconstruction 기법에 대한 성능분석을 시도하였다. 이 때 Source 신호의 Carrier 주파수, 합성 개구면 Size, 그리고 표적물의 위치에 따라 두 Inversion기법의 결과 영상을 비교함으로써 Wavefront Reconstruction 기법의 우수성을 입증하였다. Spotlight-mode 합성 개구 레이더 시스템을 시뮬레이션하여 Raw-data를 생성시키고 각 알고리즘에 적용하여 역변환을 통해 영상화된 표적물의 형태로 성능을 비교 분석하였다.

  • Via screw theory, a vibration mode can be geometrically interpreted as a pure rotation about the vibration center in a plane and as a twisting motion on a screw in a three dimensional space. In thi s paper, applying the conditions that can be used to diagonalize the stiffness matrix by a parallel axis congruence transformation, the vibration modes and frequency response of an elastically suspended optical disc drive have been analyzed. It is first shown that the system has one plane of symmetry, which enables one to decouple the complicated vibration modes into two sets of modes independent of each other. Having obtained the analytical solutions for the axes of vibrations, the frequency response for a given applied input force has been demonstrated. Most importantly, it has been explained that this research result could be used in the synthesis process of a linear vibration system in order to improve the frequency response.

마제형 원호 아치의 면내 자유진동 (In-plane Free Vibrations of Horseshoe Circular Arch)

  • 이 연구는 마제형 원호 아치의 면내 저유진동에 관한 연구이다. 마제형 아치의 면내 자유진동을 지배하는 연립 상미분방정식을 곡률중심 및 접선 방향의 변위에 대하여 유도하였다. 특히 지배미분방정식은 반원보다 큰 중심각을 갖는 마제형 아치에 적용하기 위하여 각좌표보다는 곡선거리 좌표에 관한 미분방정식으로 유도하였다. 미분방정식을 수치해석하여 고유진동수와 진동형을 산출하였다. 변수연구를 통하여 회전관성, 세장비, 곡선길이비가 무차원 고유진동수에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

Buckling analysis of sandwich beam rested on elastic foundation and subjected to varying axial in-plane loads

  • The current paper illustrates the effect of in-plane varying compressive force on critical buckling loads and buckling modes of sandwich composite laminated beam rested on elastic foundation. To generalize a proposed model, unified higher order shear deformation beam theories are exploited through analysis; those satisfy the parabolic variation of shear across the thickness. Therefore, there is no need for shear correction factor. Winkler and Pasternak elastic foundations are presented to consider the effect of any elastic medium surrounding beam structure. The Hamilton's principle is proposed to derive the equilibrium equations of unified sandwich composite laminated beams. Differential quadrature numerical method (DQNM) is used to discretize the differential equilibrium equations in spatial direction. After that, eigenvalue problem is solved to obtain the buckling loads and associated mode shapes. The proposed model is validated with previous published works and good matching is observed. The numerical results are carried out to show effects of axial load functions, lamination thicknesses, orthotropy and elastic foundation constants on the buckling loads and mode shapes of sandwich composite beam. This model is important in designing of aircrafts and ships when non-uniform compressive load and shear loading is dominated.

Ground Plane레이어를 적용한 SMPS 특성분석 (Analysis of SMPS Characteristics applying Ground Plane Layer)

  • 본 논문에서는 PCB Plane 레이어가 SMPS에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위하여 일반적인 단면 PCB와 Plane을 갖는 양면 PCB를 이용한 SMPS의 출력특성을 각각 분석하였다. 그 이후 동일한 레이아웃을 갖는 PCB의 반대 면에 Ground Plane을 설치한 양면PCB를 이용하여 SMPS 기판을 작성하여 단면 PCB SMPS에 적용해서 분석한 모든 부품을 이동 실장한 후 두 SMPS의 출력특성을 전압, 전류, 고주파잡음 측면에서 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 단면PCB의 SMPS는 100MHz대역의 고주파 잡음이 150mV인 반면, Ground Plane을 설치한 SMPS에서는 50mV로 1/3 저감되는 현상을 확인하였다. 그리고 고주파 잡음 성분 또한 감소됨을 확인하였다.

내압과 내면 굽힘하중 조건에서 곡관의 거동에 미치는 굽힘각의 영향 (Effect of Bend Angle on the Behavior of pipe Bend under Internal Pressure and In-Plane Bending toads)

  • This study performed finite element analysis on the pipe bend with various bend angles under loading conditions of internal pressure and combined pressure and bending, to investigate the effect of bend angle on the collapse behavior of pipe bend and on the stress state in the bend region. In the analysis, the pipe bends with bend angle of $5\~90^{\circ}$ were considered, and the bending moment was applied as in-plane closing and opening modes. From the results of analysis, it was found that the collapse moment of pipe bend increases with decreasing bend angle. As the bend angle decreases, also, the equivalent stress at intrados region increases regardless of bending mode. Under closing mode bending especially, the increase in stress at intrados is significant so that the maximum stress region moves from crown to intrados with decreasing bend angle.
