This study investigates the influence of family-friendly workplace policies and organizational culture on the willingness of married female managers to have a child. The analysis includes 353 married female managers from the $6^{th}$ survey of the 2016 Korean Women Manager Panel. Factors that are found to influence the respondents include age, education, number of children, job position, promotional goals, accessibility to family leave, accessibility to shorter work hours during the child-rearing period, and organizational culture. Female managers who can easily use family leave or who have shorter work hours during the child-rearing period show a higher willingness to have a child. By contrast, those whose work places employ a fair and horizontal organizational culture are less willing to have a child. The introduction of family-friendly policies are not found to be statistically significant determinants of female managers' willingness to have a child. We find that influencing family-friendly policies between the first and second childbirth differ. The accessibility of family-friendly policies that affect the willingness of female managers to have a child when they have no child include parental leave, employer-supported childcare, and childcare subsidies. For improving their willingness to have a second child, accessibility to both family leave and shorter work hours during the child-rearing period are effective. In conclusion, the government should strongly consider micro-personal factors, such as family-friendly workplace practices and organizational culture, when executing policies to reverse the current trend of low fertility.
Purpose: This study's primary goal is to investigate and evaluate the critical contributions made by industrial-organizational psychologists to raising worker job satisfaction. The study aims to offer insights that can enhance workplace environments, improve organizational processes, and increase employees' general well-being by looking at the particular contributions made by this field. Research design, data and methodology: The study design, data collection strategies using the literature content analysis allow for a thorough analysis and synthesis of the body of knowledge about industrial-organizational psychologists' contributions to improving worker job satisfaction. This method entails a sequential procedure that includes formulating research questions and locating pertinent studies. Results: Numerous previous works have indicated that industrial-organizational psychologists are essential in determining how an organization is run and how satisfied its workforce is with their jobs. The four major roles (Job Design, Leadership, Workplace Culture, and Employee Development) that were found after a thorough analysis of the body of current literature are presented in this section. Conclusions: In sum, the roles found in this study provide organizations with a framework for creating work environments that prioritize the well-being and overall growth of the people who make up the organization while also helping them negotiate the complexity of the modern workplace.

In digital virtual manufacturing simulation, Digital Human widely used to optimal workplace design, enhancing worker safety in the workplace, and improving product quality. However, the case of ergonomics simulation solutions to support digital human modeling, Optimal DHM (Digital Human Model) data needed to develop and perform DHM will collect information related to the production process. So simulation developer has burden of collecting information. In this study, to overcome the limitations of existing solutions, we proposed the ADAGIO(Automated Digital humAn model development for General assembly usIng Ontology) framework. The ADAGIO framework was developed for DHM ontology to support optimal deployment of digital virtual environment and in order to ensure consistency of simulation components that are required for simulation modeling was made of a library.

Objectives: Improvement of the reliability of work environment measurement results is one of the principal subjects to be resolved in the field of industrial hygiene. Thus, this study was conducted in order to review domestic programs for enhancing the reliability of work environment measurement results and propose a more efficient management plan for workplace monitoring. Materials and Methods: The current domestic programs reviewed in this study are the quality control system and evaluation system for industrial hygiene laboratories, the reliability system accompanied by KOSHA (the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency), the system of permissible exposure limits and observed inspection system for permissible exposure limits. Their contents and data were analyzed by reviewing articles, reports, and guidelines related to reliability improvement for work environment measurement results. Results: As a result of the literature review, all the domestic programs investigated in this study had both merits and demerits in terms of considering the reliability of work environment measurement results. In particular, the fact that preliminary notification is provided to the head of a workplace before implementation would be an obstacle for elevating the reliability of work environment measurement results. Conclusions: Based on the review results obtained from this study, it is proposed that on-site measurement without preliminary notification should be considered for a more efficient inspection system that would enhance the reliability of workplace monitoring.

Background: Nursing home resident care is an ongoing topic of public discussion, and there is great interest in improving the quality of resident care. This study investigated the association between nursing home employees' job satisfaction and residents' satisfaction with care and medical outcomes. Methods: Employee and resident satisfaction were measured by questionnaire in 175 skilled nursing facilities in the eastern United States from 2005 to 2009. Facility-level data on residents' pressure ulcers, medically unexplained weight loss, and falls were obtained from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Long-Term Care Minimum Data Set. The association between employee satisfaction and resident satisfaction was examined with multiple and multilevel linear regression. Associations between employee satisfaction and the rates of pressure ulcers, weight loss, and falls were examined with simple and multilevel Poisson regression. Results: A 1-point increase in overall employee satisfaction was associated with an increase of 17.4 points (scale 0-100) in the satisfaction of residents and family members (p < 0.0001) and a 19% decrease in the incidence of resident falls, weight loss, and pressure ulcers combined (p < 0.0001), after adjusting for staffing ratio and percentage of resident-days paid by Medicaid. Conclusion: Job satisfaction of nursing home employees is associated with lower rates of resident injuries and higher resident satisfaction with care. A supportive work environment may help increase quality of care in the nation's nursing homes.
In this study, a systematic survey was employed to investigate managers' awareness on the safety culture project in small- to medium-sized industries. The existing regulatory and technology-oriented disaster prevention strategy has been implemented to reduce industrial accidents within a short timeframe, but it is essential to reduce fundamental accidents as well by improving the organizational safety culture or software elements, such as safety awareness. Questionnaires and interviews were conducted to examine the managers' awareness about safety culture, consisting of 17 questions related to safety consulting and with the participation of 191 executives and safety managers. The results showed a significant difference in the self-pay rate of safety consulting depending on the size of the workplace under evaluation. Based on the results, the safety-consulting business focused on providing differentiated consulting support and realistic improvement plans according to the workplace size. The study concluded that it is possible to reduce fundamental human errors and improve organizations' safety awareness or safety culture by employing safety consulting differentiated by workplace size.
This purpose of this study was indentify the effect of the workplace bullying, resilience and retention intention on dental hygienists' retention intention and conducted in order to be applied to basic data for enhancing dental hygienists' retention intention. The participants in the study were 202. Data were analyzed using SPSS 19.0, t-tst, ANOVA, regression analysis. The dental hygienists' retention intention showed a high outcome in case of the higher employment satisfaction (p<.001), in the lower workplace bullying(p=.011) and in the higher resilience(p<.001). Conclusively, this study indicate a need to develop program the efficiently promote resilience and to plan improving organizational culture to increase retention intention in dental hygienists.
Background: This study aimed to investigate whether there is a difference in organizational member attitudes by workplace environment and workplace types in dental hygienists working at dental health centers. Methods: A face-to-face survey or online survey was administered to dental hygienists working at dental health centers, and a total of 95 subjects were included. The survey includes 13 items to ask factors affecting employee's job satisfaction. Also, some questions were included to assess perception of organizational member attitude: five about organizational citizenship behavior, two about innovative behavior, and four about organizational commitment. Results: Dental hygienists working at dental clinics were more satisfied with their incomes and numbers of working days, while those from dental university hospitals and general hospitals were more satisfied with education support. In addition, hygienists working at dental hospitals were more satisfied with job autonomy, individual work capability, safe working environment, personal relation, potential for personal development, and positive labor-management relations, compared to those working at general and university hospitals (p<0.05). Among the items about perception of organizational member attitudes, the scores of items about organizational citizenship behaviors were higher, whereas the scores of items about innovative behaviors were relatively lower. Individuals working at dental hospitals than those working at general and university hospitals, chiefs and team and department leaders than team members, and those with increased satisfaction with current workplace had more positive perception of organizational member attitudes. Conclusion: For dental hygienists to have positive attitudes as organizational members, working environment should be improved, and executives of dental healthcare centers should pay attention to improving job satisfaction of organizational members. Moreover, since dental hygienists need to improve their perception of innovative behaviors and citizenship behaviors to strengthen specialty of dental hygienists in a changing dental healthcare, relevant training should be addressed in refresher courses or school programs.

Hearing protection devices (HPDs) are currently the most common countermeasure against occupational noise-induced hearing loss. Use of HPD is only effective when they are properly Worn. However, industrial workers often do not very them, posing a serious under protection. This paper analyzes several motivational strategies which might be applied improve HPD use in the field. It was concluded that such methods could readily be implemented in the workplace to protect workers exposed to hazardous industrial noises.
This study is based on workplace learning, which has revealed its significant influence in the previous enterprise case studies. Why do small business owners have the opportunity to participate in workplace learning based on authenticity? It was intended to clarify whether it was necessary and to increase the growth and development potential of small business owners based on its contents. Moreover, this study is focused on identifying the influence of workplace learning on management performance through this series of processes. In order to investigate the influence of small enterprise workplace learning on management performance, research hypotheses were set based on a review of previous studies, and empirical analysis was carried out. A total of 203 questionnaires were empirically analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. As a result, first, workplace learning had partially significant positive influence on job satisfaction. Second, workplace learning had significant positive influence on management performance. Third, job satisfaction had significant positive influence on management performance. Fourth, job satisfaction had partial mediating effect in the relationship between workplace learning and management performance. The analysis result showed that among sub-factors of workplace learning, only formal learning did not affect job satisfaction and that job satisfaction did not have mediating effect in the relationship between formal learning and management performance. According to analysis, this was because in poor small enterprise environments, opportunities to participate in formal learning like external training or in-house training were not kept. In other words, poor small enterprise environments were plainly revealed from the managerial, economic and social standpoint. Therefore, there is a need to establish the foundation of growth for them to solve problems and develop win-win development capabilities and an institutional system that can make a contribution to policy and education, and management, by helping small enterprises keep opportunities to participate in workplace learning. In spite of these significant study results, there can be a limitation. For improving this limitation, further research will need to target diverse fields focusing on samples, which can explain relations of many different variables. Also, working-level relation research connected to studies that can highly enhance management performance will be required.
