This paper proposes a new protocol to enhance the routing performance and applies our proposal to AODV (Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing) protocol, which is a typical on-demand routing protocol in MANET. In general, when a route repair procedure is performed due to the transfer or failure of a node, the source node re-initiate a route discovery procedure in most routing protocols of MANET. This causes to increase the control traffic overhead largely and degrade the routing performance. The main idea of our study is to provide a methodology that can minimize the control traffic overhead and enhance the performance by initiating a route repair procedure at destination node and utilizing the previous routing information maximumly. To evaluate the performance of the our mechanism, we have performed a series of simulations. The simulations include comparisons with AODV and AODV with local repair. The simulations have been executed under simulation environments taking into account mobility speed and network site. The simulation results show that our proposal overall outperforms the existing protocols.

The Testing Frontier Capability Assessment Model (TCAM) is based on ISO/IEC 9126, TMMi and TPI. Since ISO/IEC 9126, TMMi and TPI were made over 10 years ago, TCAM faces the problem that it can not assess and analyze the capability of small businesses that employ new software development methods or processes, for example Agile, TDD(Test Driven Development), App software, and Web Software. In this paper, a method to improve the problem is proposed. The paper is composed of the following sections: 1) ISO/IEC 9126, ISO/IEC 25010 and ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 part 2 review 2) TCAM review 3) software product quality perspective comparison, and analysis between ISO/IEC 9126, ISO/IEC 25010 and TCAM 4) comparison, and analysis between ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 part2 and TCAM and 5) proposal for the improvement of TCAM.

A microprocessor, which is used as a CPU for state-of-the-art personal computers, adopts 256KB or 512KB L2(Level 2) cache memory. This cache hires Direct Mapping Procedure, 32B Line Size, and no Write Allocation. In this cache architecture, we can expert about 2.5% hit ratio improvement by using 8-way Set Associative Mapping instead of Direct Mapping, 128B Line Size instead of 32B, and Write Allocation.

A maritime Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) reference station broadcasts correction information to users having a DGPS receiver so that the navigation performance can be improved. A maritime DGPS reference station consists of a reference station (RS) that generates and broadcasts correction information, an integrity monitor (IM) that monitors the integrity of correction information, and a control station (CS) that controls them. A maritime DGPS reference station is continuously operated for 24 hours, and thus improvement in the ease of operation is a major element that can improve the performance of the system. In this study, a configuration of a maritime DGPS reference station that can improve the ease of operation and a relevant protocol were proposed, and an example of the implementation of the proposed system was presented.

The purpose of this paper is to suggest a proposal for the betterment of the English curriculum in the Department of Tourism of a women's college. The paper includes not only the needs analysis of students but also that of personnel officers of tourism related companies and offices. Since the students will have to look for desirable jobs after graduation, the needs and demands of their potential employers or personnel officers are crucial in deciding what and how to teach. Based on these analyses, the paper also examines the current curriculum offered by the department. The needs, wants and necessities of the students, potential personnel officers, and the current curriculum will have to be taken into consideration in designing a more effective future curriculum. The results of the study reveal that more emphasis should be given on the improvement of students' communicative abilities and TOEIC scores.

A datawarehouse which extracts and saves the massive analysis data is used for marketing and decision support of business. However, the datawarehouse has the problem of increasing the process time and cost as well as has a high risk of process errors because it integrates vast amount of data from distributed environments. Thus, we propose a metrics for measurement in the area of productivity, process quality and data quality. Also through the evaluation using the proposed metrics, we show that our proposal provides productivity enhancement and process improvement.

Since 'Act on Private Participation in Infrastructure' were changed in January 2005, BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease) projects of Private Participation in Infrastructure was introduced in the domestic construction market for the purpose of providing public facilities with the public. Selecting the most qualified Promoter should be considered discreetly in BTL projects because BTL projects is for projects with approximately thirty year project life cycle, plan, construction, operating, maintenance and obviously the success of the project totally depends on the capability and role of Promoter. However, score for cost is likely to influence selecting Promoter to take the project. Accordingly, low bid contract with too much competition could decrease the quality of the construction plan and operating plan. Thus, this study did preliminary research and documents on problems of evaluation criteria for selecting Promoter in BTL projects, and proposed improvement factors by doing questionnaire over specialists of each field.

The purpose of this paper is to propose a simple firmware realization of PCM framing system, which exploits LSI memories for performance improvement and hardware simplification. The proposed system simply consists of a tapped delay line for simultaneous observation of in framing-bits and ROM programmed sequence controller for framing process. Perpormance analyses are made in terms of misframe interval, sync-loss-detection time and reframe time. The proposed strategy proved to be significantly better in reframe time, stability and hardware implementation.
