  • The objective of this paper is to investigate important factors when one can consider an implementation of global e-trade. This paper in particular intends to derive which factors are significant at information strategic planning stage as well as its evaluation stage. Many works in the global e-trade area have been focusing on narrow research issues related to EDI implementation and trade process automation after trade contracts are legally made. Therefore, more complete and exclusive factors at pre-contract stage should be considered when one can make a strategic plan for global e-trade. Five factors are found to be important for global e-trade planning and those are: (1) corporate strategy, (2)trade process automation, (3)trade information technology & infrastructure, (4)organization & people, and (5)trade information technology utilization. An evaluation framework is developed in this paper and its empirical results are also provided.

  • In this conjoint analysis, the objectives of the research are to derive structural part-worth level estimations by the conjoint factors and individual levels from the university library functional factors. The major findings of this study are; (1) The level of temperature of the library is statistically the most important one for the research samples, and (2) Facility factors and its levels as well as operation factors and its levels are statistically shown as less important variables.

  • In this study, we investigated the effects of service quality factors on overall satisfaction of medical treatment service. Especially, we focused on the differences between patients and guardians in impact of service quality factors. The data was gathered by using a structured questionnaire from 220 patients and 220 guardians. Based the factor analyses, we derived the five factors of medical service quality-process, speciality, kindness, convenience of facilities, and cleanness. Then, we examined the effects of the five service quality factors on guardians' satisfaction as well as on patients' satisfaction. The results of the empirical study showed that the kindness is more important to patients than to guardians whereas the speciality is more important to guardians than to patients.

  • A second-order response surface model is often used to approximate the relationship between a response factor and a set of explanatory factors. In this article, we deal with canonical analysis in response surface models. For the interpretation of the geometry of second-order response surface model, standard errors and confidence intervals for the eigenvalues of the second-order coefficient matrix play an important role. If the confidence interval for some eigenvalue includes 0 or the estimate of some eigenvalue is very small (near to 0) with respect to other eigenvalues, then we are able to delete the corresponding canonical factor. We propose a formulation of criterion which can be used to select canonical factors. This criterion is based on the IMSE(=Integrated Mean Squared Error). As a result of this method, we may approximately write the canonical factors as a set of some important explanatory factors.

  • This study examines various factors which influence the degree of Participation In B to B e-Marketplace. Based on literature review, six factors such as Information provision, IT infrastructure, trust, aggregation, new customer creation, and matching are identified. To collect the empirical data, survey methodology has been utilized. A total of 32 companies have returned completed responses. The results of analysis show high interdependencies between six factors and the degree of participation in e-Marketplace. In particular, aggregation is found to be the most influential factor. Additional analysis reveals that firms participating highly in e-Marketplace recognize aggregation and new customer creation the most important factors while less participating firms see IT infrastructure more important.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the personality type and the residential evaluation & remodeling preference. The subjects of this investigation were collected through questionnaire from two hundred and twelve adult residents who live in Seoul, Korea. The collected cases are analyzed by using statistics software spss-win. The personality is classified eight types; E(extraversion), I(introversion), S(sensing), N(intuition), T(thinking), F(feeling), J(judging) and P(perceiving) in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator). By using the rotated component matrix of varimax method, the satisfaction of the actual residential conditions is classified into seven grouping factors. The preference of interior image is classified into thirteen factors. The important living patterns - activity, interest, and opinion - are classified into ten factors. And the important needs of residential remodeling are classified into twelve factors. By using the one way anova method, between these forty two grouping factors and personality type MBTI, there are analyzed several significances that will be useful in residential design and remodeling design & planning

Job stress was an important factors which injured of the employee health, the employee health injured reduce the organizational function. The factors such as personal differences, stressors, personality, cognitive traits etc. should be considered in the study of job stress. The cognitive appraisal is an important factor in the study of job stress and a process of coping strategy. Job stress can be controlled and coped by organizational and personal ability. The coping strategy of job stress is also determined by the personal differences rather than by the intensity of stress symptoms. • The purpose of this study is to explore adolescent depression, increase understanding of social problems, and develop prevention and intervention strategies. As a research method, social big data was used to collect information related to 'youth depression', and related factors were identified through data mining and analysis of related rules. We used 'Sometrend Biz Tool' to collect and clean data from the web and then analyzed data in various languages. The study found that online articles about depression decreased during the school holidays (January to March), then increased from March to the end of June, and then decreased again from July. Therefore, it is important to establish a government-wide depression management monitoring system that can detect risk signs of adolescent depression in real time. In addition, regular stress relief and mental health education are needed during the semester, and measures must be prepared to deal with at-risk youth who share their depressed feelings in cyberspace. Results from these studies can be expected to provide important information in investigating and preventing youth depression and to contribute to policy development and intervention.

  • The objective of this study was to investigate important factors affecting food choice, specific dietary changes over past few years and to find out consumer opinions concerning the use of yogurt and oligosaccharides. Results of this study showed that three most important factors in food selection were taste (52.5%), nutrition (23.4%) and safety (15.8%). Three most important nutritive factors were protein (26.3%), calorie (19.2%) and vitamin (13.8%). Specific dietary changes of the respondent over past few years didn't affect meat intake, but increased vegetable and fruit intakes. Majority of the respondent (52.3%) ate yogurt more than 3 times per week and 35.6% of them ate $3{\sim}4$ times per month. Reasons for intake of oligosaccharides were as follows; low calorie (40.8%), sweetener (28.3%)and bifidogenic factor (25.0%). The respondent regarded that yogurt had more preventive effect of disease than that of oligosaccharide.
