TIN Based Geometric Correction with GCP

  • The mainly used technique to correct satellite images with geometric distortion is to develop a mathematical relationship between pixels on the image and corresponding points on the ground. Polynomial models with various transformations have been designed for defining the relationship between two coordinate systems. GCP based geometric correction has peformed overall plane to plane mapping. In the overall plane mapping, overall structure of a scene is considered, but local variation is discarded. The Region with highly variant height is rectified with distortion on overall plane mapping. To consider locally variable region in satellite image, TIN-based rectification on a satellite image is proposed in this paper. This paper describes the relationship between GCP distribution and rectification model through experimental result and analysis about each rectification model. We can choose a geometric correction model as the structural characteristic of a satellite image and the acquired GCP distribution.

웨이블릿 다해상도 분석에 의한 디지털 이미지 결점 검출 알고리즘 (A Defect Inspection Algorithm Using Multi-Resolution Analysis based on Wavelet Transform)

  • A real-time inspection system has been developed by combining CCD based image processing algorithm and a standard lighting equipment. The system was tested for defective fabrics showing nozzle contact scratch marks, which were one of the frequently occurring defects. Multi-resolution analysis(MRA) algorithm were used and evaluated according to both their processing time and detection rate. Standard value for defective inspection was the mean of the non-defect image feature. Similarity was decided via comparing standard value with sample image feature value. Totally, we achieved defective inspection accuracy above 95%.

과학 탐구 수업에서 초등학생들이 바라는 과학 교사의 모습에 대한 요인 분석 (Factor Analysis of Image of Science Teacher Desired by Elementary School Students in Scientific Inquiry-Based Instruction)

  • 이 연구에서는 과학 탐구 수업에서 초등학생들이 바라는 과학 교사의 모습을 구성하는 요인들을 추출한 후, 이들 요인 사이의 구조적 연관성을 분석하였다. 과학 탐구 수업에서 초등학생들이 바라는 과학교사의 모습을 구성하는 요인들을 확인하기 위하여 탐색적 요인 분석(EFA)을 실시하였고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 확인적 요인 분석(CFA)을 실시하였다. 또한, 확인적 요인 분석을 통해 산출된 요인 구조를 토대로 과학 탐구 수업에서 초등학생들이 바라는 과학 교사의 모습을 종합적으로 살펴보았다. EFA 결과, 과학 탐구 수업에서 초등학생들이 바라는 과학 교사의 모습을 이루는 요인으로 5개 요인(교수 전략, 평가 전략, 사전 지도, 학생 이해, 학습 발달)을 추출하였다. CFA 결과, 교수 전략과 학습 발달, 교수 전략과 학생 이해 사이에 상관관계가 비교적 높게 나타났다. 추출된 요인 구조를 바탕으로 과학 탐구 수업에서 과학 교사의 모습에 대한 학생들의 인식을 종합적으로 살펴본 결과, 초등학생들은 과학 교사가 학생들에 대한 이해를 반영하여 학습 발달을 지원하고, 효과적인 수업 전략과 적절한 평가 방법을 활용하는 것을 중요하게 인식하고 있었다.

  • In AI image generation tools, most general users must use an effective prompt to craft queries or statements to elicit the desired response (image, result) from the AI model. But we are software engineers who focus on software processes. At the process's early stage, we use informal and formal requirement specifications. At this time, we adapt the natural language approach into requirement engineering and toon engineering. Most Generative AI tools do not produce the same image in the same query. The reason is that the same data asset is not used for the same query. To solve this problem, we intend to use informal requirement engineering and linguistics to create a toon. Therefore, we propose a sequence diagram and image generation mechanism by analyzing and applying key objects and attributes as an informal natural language requirement analysis. Identify morpheme and semantic roles by analyzing natural language through linguistic methods. Based on the analysis results, a sequence diagram and an image are generated through the diagram. We expect consistent image generation using the same image element asset through the proposed mechanism.

이미지 분석 프로그램을 이용한 액적 내 세포 계수 방법 (Automated Bacterial Cell Counting Method in a Droplet Using ImageJ)

  • 본 연구에서는 이미지 분석 프로그램을 통해 액적 내 박테리아 세포의 개수를 측정하는 코딩-기반의 자동화된 세포 계수 방법을 제시하였다. 먼저, 형광 이미지 기반의 분석을 위하여, 형광단백질을 발현하는 균주를 담지한 액적을 형성하고 이를 광학 및 형광 현미경을 이용하여 분석 결과를 나타냈다. 액적의 관찰을 용이하게 위하여 유리 그리드에 도포하고, 촬영한 광학 이미지를 통해 분석하고자 하는 영역(Region of Interest)을 지정하였다. 동일한 위치에서 촬영한 형광 이미지에서 앞서 지정된 영역 속 특정 임계 값을 넘는 형광 신호를 계수하여 세포 수를 정량화 하였다. 또한 서로 다른 농도의 항생제를 처리한 액적 내 박테리아의 시간에 따른 세포 개수 변화의 차이를 추적하였다. 30분 간격으로 동일한 위치에서의 형광 이미지들을 동시에 분석함으로써 시간에 따른 세포 개수 변화를 도출하였고, 본 계수법의 성능을 실험적으로 검증하였다. 본 논문의 방법은 외부 분석 프로그램을 이용한 기존 방법 대비 분석 시간을 15배 가량 단축하고, 99%의 정확도를 보이는 것으로 확인되었다. 더 나아가 사용자의 연구의 방향에 맞춰 제시된 코드의 확장 수정을 통해 다양한 종류의 세포 계수 연구에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

위탁급식 전문업체 브랜드이미지 척도 개발 (Scale Development for Measuring the Brand Images of Contract Foodservice Management Companies)

  • The aim of this study was to measure the brand images of contract foodservice management companies by identifying brand image attributes and then developing a measurement scale to measure the weight of these attributes. The measurement scale was developed by following a 5-stage process that included face-to-face interviews with experts, literature review, questionnaire surveys, verification of scale validity, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. A total of 137 items measuring brand image were collected: 37 items from studies of brand image and corporate image, 55 items from studies of contract foodservice management companies and 45 items from the internet and websites of contract foodservice management companies. A survey was then conducted to assess the validity and reliability of the questionnaire items. Ultimately, the 137 items were reduced to 40 items. The calculated Cronbach's alpha for the 40 brand image items was 0.934, demonstrating good internal consistency. Based on exploratory factor analysis (EFA), employee attitude, menu content, corporate image, dining location and ambience, along with 33 subattributes, were identified as brand image attributes. Employee attitude was the most significant attribute influencing brand image. After confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and a review process, four brand image attributes and 33 subattributes were finalized and incorporated into the scale.

직장 남성의 성격유형에 따른 의복이미지 선호, 추구이미지와 이미지 만족도 (Fashion Image Preference, Pursued Image and Self-Image Satisfaction of Businessmen According to Personality Types)

  • This study is aimed at finding out the self-perception and value of clothing they wear to today's businessmen who work in a fast-growing global network society and for developing a suitable image consulting program for businessmen. The purpose of this study is to categorize businessmen into personality types, and then analyzing purchase behaviors for clothing and image perception, self-image satisfaction among categorized groups. The participants of this study are 320 businessmen who are from 20's to 50's and working in Seoul. A total of 302 questionnaires were used for the survey of this study. The questionnaire is composed of 3 different parts as follows: 1) personality types, 2) purchase behaviors for clothing and image perception, 3) self-image satisfaction. The methods of this study are frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, factor analysis, variance analysis, cluster analysis, t-test and reliability analysis. In conclusion, an image consulting education program for businessmen has to be based on one's own personality type, current fashion style and image perception. Each person has to be provided a unique direction to increase his self satisfaction, which will result in improvements in both personal image satisfaction and social satisfaction. These changes will ultimately become the driving force of career life.

The fast image encryption algorithm based on substitution and diffusion

  • A fast image encryption system based on substitution and diffusion was proposed, which includes one covering process, one substitution process and two diffusion processes. At first, Chen's chaotic system together with an external 256-bit long secret key was used to generate the key streams for image encryption, in which the initial values of Chen's chaotic system were regarded as the public key. Then the plain image was masked by the covering process. After that the resulting image was substituted with the disturbed S-Box of AES. Finally, the substituted image was diffused twice with the add-modulo operations as the core to obtain the cipher image. Simulation analysis and comparison results with AES and some existing image cryptosystems show that the proposed image cryptosystem possesses the merits of fast encryption/decryption speed, good statistical characteristics, strong sensitivity and etc., and can be used as a candidate system of network security communication.

A Study for the Adaptive wavelet-based Image Merging method

  • The goal of image merging techniques are to enhance the resolution of low-resolution images using the detail information of the high-resolution images. Among the several image merging methods, wavelet-based image merging techniques have the advantages of efficient decorrelation of image bands and time-scale analysis. However, they have no regard for spatial information between the bands. In other words, multiresolution data merging methods merge the same information-the detail information of panchromatic image-with other band images, without considering specific characteristics. Therefore, a merged image contains much unnecessary information. In this paper, we discussed this 'mixing' effect and, proposed a method to classify the detail information of the panchromatic image according to the spatial and spectral characteristics, and to minimize distortion of the merged image.

A Novel Model for Smart Breast Cancer Detection in Thermogram Images

  • Background: Accuracy in feature extraction is an important factor in image classification and retrieval. In this paper, a breast tissue density classification and image retrieval model is introduced for breast cancer detection based on thermographic images. The new method of thermographic image analysis for automated detection of high tumor risk areas, based on two-directional two-dimensional principal component analysis technique for feature extraction, and a support vector machine for thermographic image retrieval was tested on 400 images. The sensitivity and specificity of the model are 100% and 98%, respectively.
