다산(茶山)의 주역(周易) 해석에 대한 연구 (Study on Dasan's apprehension for I Ching)

  • The medicine through I-Ching(The Book of Changes, 易經) is a field of the medical science, which studies physiology, pathology and Yin-Yang philosophy. From ancient times so many scholars have studied I Ching and they are divided into two different school. one is the school of Image and Number(象數學派), the other is the school of reason(義理學派). Da-San Jung Yak-Yong(茶山 丁若鏞) is a distinguished scholar in the I-Ching study, and he had a unique opinion in the analysis about sentences of I Ching. He has done his best to make 'Image and Number(象數)' harmonize with reason(義理). I Ching is the book about changes, which includes everything like natural phenomena, human body and mind. So we can understand human physiology and pathology through I Ching. But it's important to understand it was organized by symbols. The main symbols are Ba-Gua(八卦), 12 Bi-Gua, Zai-Ruo-zhi-Gua(再閏之卦), 50 Yan-Gua(50衍卦) and these symbols originated from the imagess of the four seasons. The image of 12 Bi-Gua coincide with 12 jing-lao(經絡), the images of Zai-Ruo-zhi-Gua(再閏之卦) coinside with Ren-mai(任脈), Du-mai(督脈). 12 Bi-Gua and Zai-Ruo-zhi-Gua(再閏之卦) are fundamental stuffs, on the other hand 50 Yan-Gua(50衍卦) is an application of every phenomenon.

『역학계몽』에 나타난 주자역학의 특징 - 소강절 역학의 수용과 변용을 중심으로 - (The Characteristics of Zhu Xi's Theory of I-Qing in Yi Xue Qi Meng(易學啓蒙))

  • 이 논문은 향후 조선유학자들의 『역학계몽』의 수용양상을 연구하기 위한 선행연구로서 『역학계몽』에 나타난 주자역학의 특징을 고찰한 것이다. 주로 『역학계몽』 원전을 분석하여 주자가 『역학계몽』을 지은 문제의식은 무엇이며, 그러한 문제를 풀어가는 논리와 사유의 특색은 무엇인가를 논의한 것이다. 주자의 문제의식은 당시 한대역학, 도교역학, 의리역학 등을 망라하여 새로이 계통이 있는 유가역학을 건립하려는데 있었다. 주자(朱子)는 문제해결을 위한 이론모델로 소강절(邵康節)의 선천학을 수용하고, 그의 선천개념을 변용하여 하락상수론을 제시한다. 하락을 자연의 이치가 담긴 역의 근원이자 성인의 심법과 일치하는 것으로 보아, 상수가 단순히 술수가 아니라, 자연의 이치와 성인의 심법을 드러내는 매체임을 밝힌다. 또한 십익의 내용들을 『역학계몽』의 주요탐구 대상으로 삼음으로써 그가 추구하는 상수가 이미 공자가 승인한 내용임을 정당화한다. 그리하여 하도의 중(中,태극), 소강절 선천학의 태극, 주렴계 태극도설의 태극을 하나로 회통시킴으로써 상·수·리가 일체가 되며, 우주론과 존재론, 수양론을 포괄하는 체계를 세우고자 하였다고 본다. 마치 리(理)와 기(氣)가 불리부잡(不雜不離)의 관계에 있듯, 상수와 리의 관계 역시 상호 밀착된 것이다. 이와 같이 상수를 이치를 드러내는 매개로 보는 주자의 하락상수론은 당대의 번쇄한 상수론을 대체하여 「계사전」에 입각한 새로운 점법을 정비하고, 그에 의거하여 춘추전국시대의 점친 사례를 고증함으로써, 그의 상수론이 추상적 이론에 그치는 것이 아니라 구체적 점법으로 적용가능함을 보여준다. 주자이후 중국학계에서 직접 『역학계몽』자체를 연구한 경우는 많지 않아, 조선에서 『역학계몽』관련 저작이 30편을 상회하는 것과는 대조적이다. 향후 조선유학자들의 『역학계몽』연구를 탐색하는 것은 조선역학의 특색을 밝히는 하나의 통로가 될 것이다.

A comparison of preplan MRI and preplan CT-based prostate volume with intraoperative ultrasound-based prostate volume in real-time permanent brachytherapy

  • Purpose: The present study compared the difference between intraoperative transrectal ultrasound (iTRUS)-based prostate volume and preplan computed tomography (CT), preplan magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based prostate volume to estimate the number of seeds needed for appropriate dose coverage in permanent brachytherapy for prostate cancer. Materials and Methods: Between March 2007 and March 2011, among 112 patients who underwent permanent brachytherapy with $^{125}I$, 60 image scans of 56 patients who underwent preplan CT (pCT) or preplan MRI (pMRI) within 2 months before brachytherapy were retrospectively reviewed. Twenty-four cases among 30 cases with pCT and 26 cases among 30 cases with pMRI received neoadjuvant hormone therapy (NHT). In 34 cases, NHT started after acquisition of preplan image. The median duration of NHT after preplan image acquisition was 17 and 21 days for cases with pCT and pMRI, respectively. The prostate volume calculated by different modalities was compared. And retrospective planning with iTRUS image was performed to estimate the number of $^{125}I$ seed required to obtain recommended dose distribution according to prostate volume. Results: The mean difference in prostate volume was 9.05 mL between the pCT and iTRUS and 6.84 mL between the pMRI and iTRUS. The prostate volume was roughly overestimated by 1.36 times with pCT and by 1.33 times with pMRI. For 34 cases which received NHT after image acquisition, the prostate volume was roughly overestimated by 1.45 times with pCT and by 1.37 times with pMRI. A statistically significant difference was found between preplan image-based volume and iTRUS-based volume (p<0.001). The median number of wasted seeds is approximately 13, when the pCT or pMRI volume was accepted without modification to assess the required number of seeds for brachytherapy. Conclusion: pCT-based volume and pMRI-based volume tended to overestimate prostate volume in comparison to iTRUS-based volume. To reduce wasted seeds and cost of the brachytherapy, we should take the volume discrepancy into account when we estimate the number of $^{125}I$ seeds for permanent brachytherapy.

A Fuzzy System Representation of Functions of Two Variables and its Application to Gray Scale Images

  • An approximate representation of discrete functions {f$_{i,j}\mid$|i, j=-1, 0, 1, …, N+1}in two variables by a fuzzy system is described. We use the cubic B-splines as fuzzy sets for the input fuzzification and spike functions as the output fuzzy sets. The ordinal number of f$_{i,j}$ in the sorted list is taken to be the out put fuzzy set number in the (i, j) th entry of the fuzzy rule table. We show that the fuzzy system is an exact representation of the cubic spline function s(x, y)=$\sum_{N+1}^{{i,j}=-1}f_{i,j}B_i(x)B_j(y)$ and that the approximation error S(x, y)-f(x, y) is surprisingly O($h^2$) when f(x, y) is three times continuously differentiable. We prove that when f(x, y) is a gray scale image, then the fuzzy system is a smoothed representation of the image and the original image can be recovered exactly from its fuzzy system representation when it is a digitized image.e.

삼원적 구조로 본 상수역학 체계;사상(四象)${\cdot}$오행(五行)${\cdot}$육기(六氣)를 중심으로 (Asian Image-mathematics System from the Viewpoint of Three Category)

  • It has been known that Asian Medicine theory are based on yin and yang & Five Phases. but recently many therapist using asian medicine in Korea or another nations, take up the position that it is not inevitable for them to adopt the theory of yin-and-yang & Five Phases when they cure a patient. but the point of this view suggests they can not understand totally the real theory about yin-and-yang & Five Phases. asian image-mathematics based on I-Ching could analysis all things with the natural number. the kernel of understanding on principle of I-Ching is realizing that the standard should be changed in some conditions and the form of cosmos should change endless. the system of all thing under sun is divided in three parts on the asian image-mathematics. the nature number from one to nine is divided in three categories that are grouped as 123, 456, 789. So, if we want to understand Five Phases theory, we suggest that it is useful to know the organic connected relations among Four Images, Five Phases, Six Qi(six kinds of weather). the aim of this paper is to arrive at understanding of profound learning on image-mathematics throughout the number of 4, 5, 6 in the concrete context.

전철주 및 문자 인식을 이용한 시설물 절대위치 검지 방법 (Pole Position Detection Method by Using Pole and Character Recognition)

  • In this paper, we proposed pole position detection system for providing exact location information to users. The proposed system consists of pole recognition part and pole number recognition part. Above all, exact pole recognition is carried out by PDD(Pole Detection Device). And recognition of pole number is performed by PID(Pole Inspection Device). Acquired image by using line scan camera is judged whether it is free bracket or not through image processing. When it is judged as free bracket, pole number image is acquired by OCR camera and recognized by OCR. By recognizing pole number, exact location information is provided to user.

  • In this paper, we develop the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) System. ANPR is generally composed of the following four steps: i) The acquisition of the image; ii) The extraction of the region of the number plate; iii) The partition of the number and iv) The recognition. The second and third steps incorporate image processing technique. We propose to resolve this by using Partial Differential Equation(PDE) based segmentation method. This method is computationally efficient and robust. Results indicate that our methods are capable to recognize the plate number on difficult situations.

1차원 FN-MLCA와 3차원 카오틱 캣 맵 기반의 컬러 이미지 암호화 (1D FN-MLCA and 3D Chaotic Cat Map Based Color Image Encryption)

  • The worldwide spread of the Internet and the digital information revolution have resulted in a rapid increase in the use and transmission of multimedia information due to the rapid development of communication technologies. It is important to protect images in order to prevent problems such as piracy and illegal distribution. To solve this problem, I propose a new digital color image encryption algorithm in this paper. I design a new pseudo-random number generator based on 1D five-neighborhood maximum length cellular automata (FN-MLCA) to change the pixel values of the plain image into unpredictable values. And then I use a 3D chaotic cat map to effectively shuffle the positions of the image pixel. In this paper, I propose a method to construct a new MLCA by modeling 1D FN-MLCA. This result is an extension of 1D 3-neighborhood CA and shows that more 1D MLCAs can be synthesized. The safety of the proposed algorithm is verified through various statistical analyses.

동양행정론 (I Ching(周易) Approach to Public Administration)

  • 본 고에서는 동양학의 학문적 체계를 살펴보고, 현대행정에 도움이 되는 개념과 이론 및 사상을 고찰하여 동양행정론의 주요한 연구주제를 발굴하여 동양행정이 어떤 의미와 가치가 있는지를 고찰해 보고자 한다. 동양행정 이란 첫째, 동양학적 개념과 이론 및 사상에 입각하여 행정현상과 문제를 이해 설명 해결하며, 둘째, 동양학적 관점에서 정책을 개발하는 학문을 의미한다. 동양학의 모든 학문적 근원은 주역(周易)이다. 주역에서 비롯된 동양학의 학문적 영역은 크게 분류하면 상수역(象數易)과 의리역(義理易)이 있다. 즉 상수역에는 동양오술(五術)(명(命) 복(卜) 상(相) 의(醫) 산(山))과 천문기상 등이 있고, 의리역에는 유가, 도가, 묵가, 제자백가, 그리고 성리학 등이 있다. 현대사회에서 동양행정론의 의미와 가치는 서양행정학과 상호보완하고 문제점과 한계점을 상호극복하며 새로운 시각에서 문제를 인식하고 해결할 수 있는 새롭고 앞선 부문이 있다는 점이다.

높이 변화가 있는 막대기 용접선 추적용 시각센서 (Vision Sensor System for Weld Seam Tracking of I-Butt Joint with Height Variation)

  • In this study, a visual sensor system which can detect I-butt weld joint with height variation and includes a seam tracking algorithm was investigated. Three-dimensional position of an object can be acquired by using the method of distance measurement, i.e., an optical trigonometry which results from the spatial relations between the camera, the object and the structured light by a visible laser. Effects of laser intensity and iris number for the image quality as well as object material were investigated for the optical system design. For the image processing, a region of interest is defined from the whole image and a line image of laser is drew by using the gray level difference in the image. From the drew laser line, the weld joint can be recognized in searching the biggest point position calculated from the central difference method. Through a series of welding experiments, a good tracking performance was confirmed under GMA welding.
