This study researches the association between associative vocabulary and fashion image language in order to extract ideas that can be used as basic data for design ideas. Classic - avant-garde imaged language were chosen as theme words and each 70 questionnaires per a final image word were used for analysis. We obtained the following results by researching keywords that explained classic image words through a word cloud technique. It was found to have high central representation in the order of suit, classical, basic, music, Chanel, black and traditional. The core key words explaining avant-garde image language were found to have a central representation in the order of : peculiar, huge, Comme des Garçons, artistic, creative, deconstruction and individuality. We extracted the necessary idea dimensions needed for design ideas through associative network graph analysis. In the case of classical image language, it was named as the Mannish Item, Music, Modern Color, and the Traditional Classicality dimensions. In the case of avant-garde image language, it was named as the Key Image, Artistic Aura, Key Design and Designers dimensions.

In this paper, we approach the problem of image filter design automation using a kind of intrinsic evolvable hardware architecture. For the purpose of implementing the intrinsic evolution process in a common FPGA chip and evolving a complicated digital circuit system-image filter, the design automation system employs the reconfigurable circuit architecture as the reconfigurable component of the EHW. The reconfigurable circuit architecture is inspired by the Cartesian Genetic Programming and the functional level evolution. To increase the speed of the hardware evolution, the whole evolvable hardware system which consists of evolution algorithm unit, fitness value calculation unit and reconfigurable unit are implemented by a commercial FPGA chip. The Celoxica RC1000 card which is fitted with a Xilinx Virtex xcv2000E FPGA chip is employed as the experiment platform. As the result, we conclude the terms of the synthesis report of the image filter design automation system and hardware evolution speed in the Celoxica RC1000 card. The evolved image filter is also compared with the conventional image filter form the point of filtered image quality.

This study aims to identify the differences of body image when the stripe direction and width change of semi-tight skirt. The semi-tight skirt pattern was made using the standard size of a women in their 20s. 12 semi-tight skirt models combining 6 kinds of stripe directions and 2 kinds of stripe widths were made using CLO 3D virtual clothing system. The data was evaluated by 126 fashion design majors. The results were as follows; In accordance with the body image factor analysis of semi-tight skirt, three image factors were identified; whole body optical illusion, calf optical illusion and hip optical illusion. Among these factors, the whole body optical illusion factor is the most important factor. The body image depending on the stripe direction and width change of semi-tight skirt mostly showed the significant difference. In accordance with the analysis on the interaction effect of body image depending on the stripe direction and width change of semi-tight skirt, the whole body, calf and hip optical illusion factors showed the significance. The interaction of body image had independent influence on all factors of stripe direction and width. In particular, the interaction of stripe direction and width had the most significant influence on the whole body optical illusion.

This study presents a T-shirt design process that utilizes modernized traditional patterns; in addition, it also includes various modernization techniques for Korean traditional patterns. T-shirts are a representative casual wear item worn in everyday life, especially among young people. The association of traditional elements and public goods such as T-shirts effects the diffusion of the Korean image into global society. Through the whole design process, target groups and design concepts were determined first: collegiate students as well as clean, natural, refined, simple and sporty image, respectively. Subsequently, Dokkaebi, lotus, Dangcho, dragon and Taegeuk patterns were selected as traditional pattern sources. Along with the technique of the division, transformation, and configuration of original patterns, the combining method of geometrical figures, stripe patterns, and check patterns with traditional patterns was helped create modernized traditional motives. Finally, T-shirt designs with a Korean image were developed with the harmonized deployment of modernized motives and color planning. The survey showed that designs had a clean, natural, refined, simple and sporty image that was preferred by collegiate students. This study is relevant in three aspects. First, the design process of modernization was very creative to combine traditional patterns and basic figures. Second, this study expanded the scope of traditional image design to casual wear to promote the Korean image to young people all over the world. Third, the whole design process, from planning to final product development, presented in this study is applicable to other design processes.

In this paper, we design edge class that can processed digital image effectively, edge is a important information including the point of shape information for a object detection or recognition in the digital image. Therefore, it is of very importance, which managed effectively the edge and can use a variety availability in digital image Processing, after edge detection. The environment using the existing digital image processing system has limits of use and speed. In this paper, we design edge class that can managed detected edges and it analyzes existing methods by edge detection algorithm.

Greeting the era that the interest in qualitative aspects of life environment is getting important, commercial space, which is sensitive to the reflection of consumers' desire, is making efforts to secure the interior image identity of its own space. Especially, because the bar, which is the object of this study, is competing with undistinguished alcoholic beverages, the distinction of the interior image construction becomes more important. Here this study is purposed to understand the features of structural elements for the construction of the image identity of interior space. Especially, the purpose is to present the basic materials of the space design for individuality and distinction by considering relationship between the whole image and structural elements that form the image of space, and the preference, centering on the installation, which is being used very much for the image identity construction in eating and drinking space these days.

The purpose of this study is to help understanding of fashion trend since 2000 years, to play a guideline's role in the development on fashion designs study. The methods of this study are the study of academic literatures as well as practical study through expert investigation and analysis of case studies about actual works. Fashion trends since 2000 years are summarized classic, sporty, elegance, ethnic, natural, romantic, vintage, futurism by expert investigation and analysis of case studies about actual works. Image of fashion trends are abstracted that Classic image is harmony, moderation, accuracy, completeness, neatness, manish from keep an archetype to eliminate additional things, Sporty image is daily, active, enjoyment by the pursuit of a movement and freedom, Elegance image is feminine, grace from the tender moderated and feminity, Ethnic image is folkway, handicraft, vernacular to keep national character, local folkways and traditional ways. Natural image is nature, peaceful, purity, pastoral to the exclusion of artificiality and revert to natural, Romantic image is sensibility, fantastic, ornament, splendid from facing ideal world getting out of the reality, Vintage image is cozy, old, disorder, faden, freedom by expressing the flow of time and the mature beauty, Futurism image is future, experimental, avant-garde, man-made from positive perspective on future.
