The purpose of this study is to examine the awareness of apartment residents on their using tendency of community facilities established in apartment complex in order to verify a role that such facilities play in making contributions to lives of apartment dwellers and to analyze their using tendency of the facilities and subsequent problems. The study produced the important findings as follows. First, the level of exchange among residents and their satisfaction were raised high in the apartment complex that offered substantial community facilities. Second, in regard to physical aspect, community activities among dwellers were brisk in the apartment complex where community facilities were organically connected. Third, fitness center, shower room and golf course were excessive in terms of space provided while the space alloted for G.X room, a place used exclusively for class, was insufficient. Fourth, the analysis of using tendency and preference level showed that fitness center, shower room and G.X room were the required facilities. The rooms for using PCs and watching DVDs and the singing room were found to be unnecessary because such facilities were low in the effectiveness when the operating cost was considered.

In recent years, many municipal governments have planned and developed welfare programs for their communities. Many of these plans have included youth facilities. However, many of these facilities have had problems keeping up with the rapidly changing needs of young people. Therefore this study aims to analyze the present State of youth facilities, their operating programmes and changing aspect of the space composition. This has significance in suggesting basic materials for planning youth facilities with the spacial characteristics corresponding to their purpose and function as exclusive space for the youth. In our case study, we limited the subjects to the local youth facilities within the daily life area of Jeju, 3 youth facilities and 15 youth culture centers. The results from the case study are as follow. Firstly, in the case of youth culture center, most of the lots are small-sized and they don't show proper space allocation according to activity. Secondly, in the recently-built youth facilities, the cultural space has been expanded rather than the space for public use. Thirdly, it is necessary to formulate the conception of youth culture center and the value in its function and role.

정부는 국가공간정보 활용 기반 마련을 위해 1995년부터 국가 GIS (Geographic Information System)사업을 통해 토지, 도로, 지하시설물, 통계 등 다양한 분야의 GIS활용체계를 구축 운영해 오고 있다. 이러한 기반 하에서 공간정보산업에 대한 중요성이 부각됨에 따라, 국토교통부는 "국가공간정보정책 기본계획"과 "국가공간정보정책 시행계획"을 수립하여, 국가교통분야의 공간정보구축 및 제공을 위한 구체적인 방안을 마련하고 있다. 하지만, 타 분야에 비해 철도 및 철도 관련 시설에 대해서는 공간정보가 체계적으로 구축 제공되지 않고 있다. 즉, 국가공간정보 통합DB에서도 볼 수 있듯이 연계 정보로서의 '교통정보'와 행정정보로서의 '교통'항목이 포함되어 있을 뿐 구체적인 철도 및 철도 관련 시설물에 대한 공간정보에 대한 내용은 부재한 상황이다. 이는 철도 및 관련 시설물에 대한 정보구축 및 활용에 관한 법 제도가 미비하여, 실제 구축사업 및 활용방안에 대한 연구가 부재하기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국가공간정보포털의 교통시설 공간정보 DB 구축 동향을 검토하였고, 철도 및 공간정보 관련 법제도를 분석하였으며, 이를 통해 철도 및 관련 시설물의 공간정보 구축 관리 운영 관련 조직설립, 정보 구축 및 관리 관련, 정보 활용관련 법 제도 개선방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 토대로 향후 국가 통합공간 정보 내에 다양한 공간정보를 제공하는데 도모할 것이며, 철도 선로 및 시설물에 대한 통합 시설관리, 진보된 유지보수 시스템 등을 구축할 수 있을 것이다.

우리나라는 현행 시설물의 유지관리 체계를 넘어 자산관리 체계 도입을 위한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 공공시설물 자산관리의 발전도는 특정 국가를 제외하고 초기수준이며 성공적인 정착을 위해 현재의 상황을 파악하고 미래에 대한 목표를 설정하는 일련의 성과측정 및 평가가 이루어져야 한다. 호주와 미국을 비롯한 선진국의 경우 다양한 방법과 목적을 가지고 자산관리 성과측정이 이루어지고 있다. 국내의 경우 한국건설기술연구원에서 진행 중인 '공공시설물 자산관리 체계 개발(KTAM-40)' 연구에서 자산관리 성과측정을 위한 평가항목을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 효과적인 성과측정을 위하여, 주요사항에 대한 누락이 없으며 활용성 측면에서 효과적인 자산관리 성과지표를 BSC, AHP 기법 등을 활용하여 개발하고, 성과지표를 활용한 성과측정 방법을 제안하였다.

Nowadays, public rental apartments' community facilities emphasize only their quantity aspect without considering residents' characteristics, leading their installation regulations to be based on only the number of households, which is problematic. As a result, in many cases, residents, after moving in, alter the facility usage or remodel the facilities for their use. Hereby, this study conducted focus group interviews with public rental apartments' residents as to find out space conditions of and improvement demands for the community facilities. Two public rental apartment complexes in Seoul and Gyeongi-do which were built after 2007 were selected for this study. As for the survey method, workshop panel was employed. Four people in each age class of infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors were formed into one group, and a total of 40 people in 10 groups were surveyed. The survey was continuously conducted from February to March in 2009. The study findings can be summarized as follows. 1) Among community facilities, there were more satisfactory outdoor facilities than satisfactory indoor facilities. Residents expressed satisfaction with the facilities linked with natural environment. The causes of unsatisfactory facilities were mostly poor management. 2) The facilities demanded by the residents included ones relevant to study, exercise, and hobbies. As public rental apartments are resided mostly by low-income families, study and hobby activities bring them cost problems. Therefore, it is needed that the apartment complexes support diverse such activities 3) As for facilities demanded for usage alteration, a residents' meeting room accounted for the most popular opinions. As it was used only once a week, its usage was very low. It should be opened to the residents and allowed to be used in various ways. 4) As for demands of changing spatial characteristics, outdoor exercise facilities accounted for the most opinions. Although they were installed in most cases, they were damaged and poorly managed, therefore being in need of improvement in operation and management. In order to maximally utilize public rental apartments' community facilities, facility planning in consideration of various age groups from residents' viewpoint and sustainable systematic management are required.

This study examined the factors which have influence on the welfare facilities for the elderly and analyzes their efficiency. It investigated theoretical studies and preceding studies and divided the efficiency evaluation factors into input and output factors. Input factors included budget, the number of workers and clients and facility area and output factors were operation management, the number of clients, profitability and welfare for the elderly. To sum up the analysis results of evaluation factors of welfare facilities for the elderly, the analysis of relative importance of input showed that budget was most important. As a result of analyzing the relative importance among detailed items, balance sheet and professional manpower were highest. Input factors by facility types showed that the budget for utility facilities and living facilities were highest. In output factors, utility facilities and living facilities were highest in management systematization and welfare for the elderly, respectively. In efficiency evaluation, utility facilities for the elderly showed 100% of efficiency in CCR and BCC models. In welfare facilities for the elderly, while CCR model showed 100% of efficiency in facility types A, C, D, and F, the efficiency was low in facility B (79.89%), E (77.14%), and G (80.72%). In BCC model, facility E was low as 78.69%. In efficiency comparison between utility facilities and living facilities for the elderly welfare, the efficiency of utility facilities for the elderly welfare was higher. Therefore, this study investigated the efficiency of welfare facilities for the elderly as its main purpose and presented policy suggestions based on the research results as the alternative.

Remodeling of agricultural facilities can be defined as follows; it is received newly social needs which calamity is reduced, its function is improved, ecosystem is maintained, water-friendly space is preserved. By those remodeling, environment water and tour water with role as a place of rest and leisure sports, and so forth can be ensured. Therefore, on this study, we would propose the approach of the repair and enhancement of agricultural facilities which can reflect those social demands.

This study includes the fundamental planning of the sectoral management technology in energy distribution system so that the industry itself would be willing to participate for the effective energy conservation in its own sector. Furthermore guidlines for the effective energy management techniques have been presented by first analyzing the energy consumption structures, the energy loss problems, the energy conservation status and the technology demands, and second classifying, according to the energy distribution system, the energy source management, the energy generation & conversion facilities, the energy transportation ＆ storage facilities, the energy consumming facilities and the waste energy management, etc. in the industrial sector.

This study is with the subjects of 7 primary schools in Daejon City which opened after 2004 when the Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development released the "Study of Developing the Manual for Safety and Plan of school facilities". This is to study the measures of improving or enhancing the safety criteria on the school facilities from the viewpoint of actual planning as well as of architectural planning through investigating and analysing the cause, the status and the type of negligent accidents by school which are occurring both directly and indirectly. Though the analysis of the examined contents shows there is no facility in primary schools not satisfying 'the criteria on safety maintenance of school facilities', the criteria is so comprehensive and general that its content is just itemized and the current criteria of facilities are not fit for the present situation because of the physical condition of the students in elementary, middle and high schools and the changing curriculum.

Seoul Metro railway facilities' inspection and maintenance tasks cause failure analysis, but if there is trouble the diverse cause investigation and the systematic analysis and management among broken facilities, related facilities and components fell short and the conditions are different. And, excess and insufficiency, under inspection and maintenance, is being raised regardless of the introduction year and the operating environment including the number of use by applying the same facilities in the uniform inspection cycle. In this study, we will analysis systematically facility system information, failures, operational status, performance, fault and maintenance information resulting from the maintenance management of railway facilities and derive the relationship between associated equipment and its components. In addition, optimizing the inspection and the maintenance cycles of railway facilities, we will improve the reliability of operation. Considering the probability of risk, it is possible to predict the occurrence of accidents or faults and to minimize the frequency of breakdown by pre-inspection maintenance. Finally, This paper is to introduce the content of constructing the Seoul Metro RCM-based failure analysis system for railway facilities to support the optimal continuance of operation status of equipments and the securement of the safe operation of vehicles.
