우리나라 학교보건사업 변천에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of School Health Program by the Chronological Events in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify and name clusters of school health program, and to describe some of the characteristics of administrative supports. The literature, materials and public documents were analysed by the chronological events from 1945 to 1989. The result of this study is as follows : 1. A brief summary of the history of school health program was included as an introduction to the analysis of the current programs of school health. Five current school health-program clusters were identified from findings of a study of programs ; 1) Physical assessment, laboratory examination and health services for the students, 2) health insturction 3) healthful living condition(environmental health), 4) health clinic management 5) administrative supports. 2. The earliest school-based efforts focused on communicable disease prevention by the ministry of health and social affairs. Annual medical inspection(health assessment) for school children for eyes, ears, nose, and throat were mandated nation-wide in 1951 by physical Assessment Act. 3. In 1979, the health instruction of schools to improve the health status of students was improved by health department in the Ministry of Education. 4. Experiences in healthful environment were basic components of the school health program. However, without careful planning and supervision these experiences were not contributed to the goal of school health. The formal program of school health environment were initiated in 1979. 5. In 1980, the guidelines of school health clinic management were prepared by Ministry of Education such as guidance of essential degrees and facilities in school health clinic. 6. Two patterns of administration of school health programs existed in Korea. In one the school health department operated its own health program and in the other the physical education department operated the health program within the school system. The school health department was established in Ministry of Education from 1979 to 1982. Improved school health programs will be a key element in the comprehensive national child health policy whic I will ask the Ministry of Education to develop for the Department.

닭 날개 혈관을 이용한 혈관문합술의 교육 (Training of Microanastomosis with Chicken Wing Brachial Artery)

  • Purpose: Microsuturing is a difficult job for beginners of microsurgery. It is because they are not familiar with microscopic environment and, it needs much time for them to get used to microanastomosis. Before the real microsurgery, sometimes a surgeon wants rehearsal. But, microsurgical exercise has been performed with surgical glove, silastic drain or rat femoral artery. Rat femoral artery is a very good training material. But, it needs animal laboratory, anesthesia and its keeping facilities. And the surgeon should appoint the time to exercise with the laboratory. Methods: We used chicken wing brachial artery for education material of microsuturing. The artery is 5 cm long and the diameter is about 1 mm. Monofilament 10-0 was used for suture material. Results: Six persons of Seoul National University medical school students and one resident attended in this program. Each of them performed arterial anastomosis ten times. They were satisfied with chicken wing brachial artery for anastomosis training under the magnification environment. Conclusion: We think that chicken wing brachial artery is a very cheap and an effective training material for the beginners of microsurgery.

Experiments on granular flow in a hexagonal silo: a design that minimizes dynamic stresses

  • In this paper, an experimental study of the rheological behavior of granular flow in a new type of storage silo is presented. The main characteristic of the new design is a hexagonal shape chosen with the objective of minimizing the stresses applied to the stored grains, and to reduce grain damage during the filling and emptying processes. Measurements of stress distribution and flow patterns are shown for a variety of granular materials. Because of the design of the silo, the granular material adopts its natural rest angle at all times eliminating collisional stresses and impacts between grains. A homogeneous, low friction flow is naturally achieved which provides a controlled stress distribution throughout the silo during filling and emptying. Secondary dynamic stresses, which are responsible for wall failure in conventional silos of the vertical type, are completely eliminated. A comparison between the two geometries is presented with data obtained for these silos and a number of granular materials. The discharge pattern inhibits powder formation in the silo and the filling system virtually eliminates unwanted material packing. Finally, notwithstanding the rheological advantages of this new design, the hexagonal cells that constitute the silo have many other advantages, such as the possible use of solar energy to control the humidity inside them. The cell type design allows for versatile storage capabilities and the elevation above the ground provides unlimited transportation facilities during emptying.

대규모 미시교통시뮬레이션모형 구축을 위한 O/D 추정 방법 성능 비교 - 중력모형과 QUEENSOD 방법을 중심으로 - (Comparison Study of O/D Estimation Methods for Building a Large-Sized Microscopic Traffic Simulation Network: Cases of Gravity Model and QUEEENSOD Method)

  • PURPOSES : The aim of this study was to compare the performance of the QUEENSOD method and the gravity model in estimating Origin-Destination (O/D) tables for a large-sized microscopic traffic simulation network. METHODS : In this study, an expressway network was simulated using the microscopic traffic simulation model, VISSIM. The gravity model and QUEENSOD method were used to estimate the O/D pairs between internal and between external zones. RESULTS: After obtaining estimations of the O/D table by using both the gravity model and the QUEENSOD method, the value of the root mean square error (RMSE) for O/D pairs between internal zones were compared. For the gravity model and the QUEENSOD method, the RMSE obtained were 386.0 and 241.2, respectively. The O/D tables estimated using both methods were then entered into the VISSIM networks and calibrated with measured travel time. The resulting estimated travel times were then compared. For the gravity model and the QUEENSOD method, the estimated travel times showed 1.16% and 0.45% deviation from the surveyed travel time, respectively. CONCLUSIONS : In building a large-sized microscopic traffic simulation network, an O/D matrix is essential in order to produce reliable analysis results. When link counts from diverse ITS facilities are available, the QUEENSOD method outperforms the gravity model.

VDS 자료 기반 고속도로 교통혼잡비용 산정 방법론 연구 (Estimation of the Expressway Traffic Congestion Cost Using Vehicle Detection System Data)

  • PURPOSES : This study was initiated to estimate expressway traffic congestion costs by using Vehicle Detection System (VDS) data. METHODS : The overall methodology for estimating expressway traffic congestion costs is based on the methodology used in a study conducted by a study team from the Korea Transport Institute (KOTI). However, this study uses VDS data, including conzone speeds and volumes, instead of the volume delay function for estimating travel times. RESULTS : The expressway traffic congestion costs estimated in this study are generally lower than those observed in KOTI's method. The expressway lines that ranked highest for traffic congestion costs are the Seoul Ring Expressway, Gyeongbu Expressway, and the Youngdong Expressway. Those lines account for 64.54% of the entire expressway traffic congestion costs. In addition, this study estimates the daily traffic congestion costs. The traffic congestion cost on Saturdays is the highest. CONCLUSIONS : This study can be thought of as a new trial to estimate expressway traffic congestion costs by using actual traffic data collected from an entire expressway system in order to overcome the limitations of associated studies. In the future, the methodology for estimating traffic congestion cost is expected to be improved by utilizing associated big-data gathered from other ITS facilities and car navigation systems.

한국형 부가가치물류클러스터 모형에 관한 연구 (Model of Korean Value-added Logistics Cluster)

  • "물류산업"은 장래 우리나라의 새로운 성장산업의 하나로 인식되고 있다. 그간 우리나라는 중국화물의 환적거점으로 기능을 하였으나, 최근 중국 자체항만의 성장으로 대형선단이 중국으로 이동하고 있다. 결과적으로 한국의 물류중심의 입지가 위기를 맞고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 물류혁신과 국제경쟁력 강화를 위해 새로운 전략이 필요하게 되었고, 본 연구에서는 "부가가치물류클러스터"를 새로운 전략으로 제안하고 있다. 특히 본 연구는 한국의 입지적 산업적 장점을 극대화할 수 있는 한국형 부가가치물류클러스터를 제안하고 있다. 추가적으로 한국 항만이 동북아 물류거점으로 성장할 수 있도록 한국형 부가가치물류클러스터 모형이 제안되었다. 클러스터 구성요소, 물류산업과 타 산업 간의 연관성 분석과 같은 다양한 분석과정이 한국형 부가가치물류클러스터 모형을 개발하기 위해 단계별로 시행되었다. 또한 한국형 부가가치물류클러스터 모형을 물동량 감소로 최근 위기를 맞고 있는 광양항에 적용하였다.

우리 나라 건설산업의 기술수준 및 기술개발 단계와 건설기술발전 방향 (A STUDY ON THE TECHNOLOGY LEVEL AND ITS DEVELOPMENT STAGE OF KOREAN CONSTRCUTION INDUSTRY)

  • The importantce of a development of competitiveness in domestic construction industry is growing as some of domestic construction markets is scheduled to open to foreign competing firms with higher level of construction technology and management. A national level of competitiveness in domestic construction industry and firms are partially, but significantly, affected by a technology level and a characteristics of production pattern. The purpose of the study is mainly to analyze and identify a technology level, production pattern and a development stage of R&D activities of domestic construction industry and firms. Based on these findings the study draws on a concluding remarks and derives technology policy implications. Results of analysis in the study impliy that (1) competitiveness of domestic construction firms(industry) in terms of technology level is relatively weak as compare to that of advanced foreign competing firms, (2) degrees of substitution of capital for labor are seemed to be relatively high, (3) R&D (investment) activities of domestic construction firms are generally spread out in forms of import, adjustment and betterment, and (4) only a small number of big domestic construction firms are seemed to afford to R&D investment for research facilities and equipments, but not enough for higher level of R&D man-power. The study suggests that technology policy for construction industry should be based on a fundamental policy directions. For example the increase in size and heightened quality level of R&D man-power should be placed in a top priority in policy agenda. Sound and specific policy items should be developed for planning and design, and maintenace and inspection technology in order to lead domestic industry to compete with foreign firms with full strength.

공공도서관에 대한 사서와 이용자 인식 비교 연구- 서울시교육청 소속 공공도서관을 대상으로 - (A Comparative Study of the Perceptions on Public Libraries between Librarians and Users: A Survey of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Public Libraries)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사서와 이용자의 공공도서관에 대한 인식을 비교 분석함으로써 도서관 발전방안 수립 및 서비스 방향 설정에 필요한 기초정보를 제공하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 서울특별시교육청 공공도서관의 사서와 이용자 각각 270명, 820명을 대상으로 현재 도서관의 환경, 미래 도서관의 역할 및 위상, 도서관 정책과 관련한 설문조사를 수행하였다. 조사 결과, 사서들은 오랜 역사와 축적된 자원을 가장 큰 강점으로 인식하는 반면, 이용자들은 인적자원에 대한 만족도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 공공도서관의 역할과 미래의 위상에 대해서는 사서와 이용자 모두 독서와 교육을 중요하게 인식하고 있어, 두 집단이 공공도서관에 대한 공통된 기대를 갖고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 미래 도서관의 정책 방안으로 사서는 노후시설의 개선과 사서의 재교육을 제시한 반면, 이용자는 장서 확충과 열람실 이용 확대를 원하는 등 두 집단 사이의 인식차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 이러한 인식 차이를 고려한 공공도서관 정책 개발의 필요성을 보여주었다.

공항의 지속가능성 평가모형의 개발 (A Develpment of System Dynamics Model for Airport Sustainability Assessment)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 시스템의 지속가능성 개념을 공항에 적용하여 공항의 지속가능성 평가모형을 개발하는 것이다. 분석방법은 시스템 사고를 기본적 틀로 하고 있는 시스템 다이나믹스(System Dynamics) 기법을 사용하여 공항 시스템의 모델을 구축하고, 구축된 모델을 이용하여 분석공항 및 배후지역의 실제 데이터를 적용, 지속가능성을 평가하는 것이다. 시뮬레이션 결과 공항의 활동으로 인해 공항 및 배후직역은 경제적으로는 지속가능하나 사회, 환경적으로는 지속 가능하지 않은 것으로 나타나 향후 이를 개선시키기 위한 정책이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 현재의 상황에서 공항개발을 3년 앞당겨야 항공수요를 매끄럽게 처리할 수 있는 것으로 나타났고, 대기오염물질 배출량을 최소 3% 저감시킬 경우 배후지역개발에 따른 항공화물 물동량 및 인천지역 GRDP의 6% 증가범위 내에서 공항 및 배후지역의 경제, 사회, 환경 측면에서 모두 지속가능한 것으로 나타났다.

녹색성장시대에 환경친화적 항만관리정책의 발전방향 - 광양항을 중심으로 - (Green Port Management Policy Directions in the Green Growth Era - The Case of Gwangyang Port in Republic of Korea -)

  • 본 논문은 광양항을 사례로 수송수요와 항만환경의 실태를 분석하고, 환경친화적인 항만관리정책의 방향을 항만운영과 계획 측면에서 강구하는 데 있다. 중요한 논문내용은 녹색성장과 환경친화적 항만의 개요, 광양항 수송 환경실태의 분석, 환경친화적 광양항 관리정책의 방향 등으로 구성되어 있다. 연구결과, 광양항을 환경친화적인 녹색항만으로 육성하기 위해서는 항만운영 계획 측면에서 합리적인 항만관리정책의 방향이 정립되어야 한다. 항만운영의 측면에서 환경 친화적인 정책방향은 환경친화적 항만물류수송체계의 전환, 항만컨테이너 운영부두의 에너지 절감, 환경친화적 항만운영기술의 적용 등을 들 수 있다. 항만계획의 입장에서 환경친화적 항만정책의 방향으로는 환경친화적 항만친수공간의 조성, 해양폐기물의 환경친화적 처리와 항만환경계획의 수립 시행 등이 포함된다. 본 연구는 항만과 환경의 상호간 영향에 대한 계량분석, 환경친화적 항만정책효과의 분석 등에 한계점을 가지고있다. 향후 연구에서는 계획과 운영 측면에서 환경친화적 항만정책의 영향평가방법에 대한 연구가 필요하다.
