The purpose of this article is to abstract Industries 4.0 Top documents and express the fundamental strategies. It is clear that disruptive AI + ICBM technology will change the entire industry, and therefore each country is making a strategy to prepare for the future. Example cases are Japan's Monozukuri, Germany's Industry 4.0, the USA's Reshoring, and China's Made in China 2025. I would like to introduce Industrial Industries 4.0 in Germany because Germany used the industrial industries' term first and Korea has as many SMEs as Germany has. The main characteristic is that it can be applied to the size of the individual SMEs rather than the national size.

This paper proposes indirect adaptive pole placement adaptive controller using a modified least squares method. If an adaptive controller has good performance, it is necessary that an estimator have fast convergence. This paper presents a modified least squares method which guarantees the stability of estimator and has fast convergence. In this algorithm, information on signal level is obtained from the determinent of covariance matrix and according to it, weighting factor is tuned.

The cavitation-induced fluctuating pressure of the container ship named "Sydney Express" is measured in Samsung Large Cavitation Tunnel(SCAT). In the measurements, a complete ship model is employed. The effects of thrust coefficient and cavitation number on cavity pattern and cavitation-induced fluctuating pressure were investigated experimentally. It is demonstrated that the fluctuating pressure coefficient is very sensitive to the cavitation number. The results of cavitation and pressure fluctuations are compared with those of ITTC and HSVA, which shows fairly good agreement. It is exhibited that the removal of rudder can significantly change the loading condition of a propeller, and can reduce the fluctuating pressure coefficient almost by half.

This study examined the comparative advantage of manmade textile (MMT) industries in the United States (US) and South Korea (SK). The Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) framework was used to assess the MMT industries' performance in both countries from 2004 to 2013. With the recent ratification of the United States-South Korea Free Trade Agreement (KORUS FTA), it is important to understand the current state of these industries. Using UN Comtrade export data, the RCA index values were calculated and analyzed for 27 MMT commodities, three aggregate groups, and the whole industry. It was found that SK had a consistent comparative advantage for the whole industry. Furthermore, SK had a larger number of products with a comparative advantage. The research findings indicate that the MMT industry in SK is likely to outperform the US following the complete ratification of the KORUS FTA.

4차 산업혁명 시대의 핵심 기술 분야라고 불리는 가상현실(Virtual Realityl VR)/증강현실(Augmented Reality; AR) 기술은 그 동안 IT 시장을 주도해 온 스마트폰 시장이 포화상태에 도달함에 따라 주요 IT기업들의 차세대 비즈니스로 떠오르고 있으며, 미디어 플랫폼인 VR에 대한 연구 또한 계속해서 진행되고 있다. 또한 최근 들어 디스플레이 해상도가 높아지고 PC의 성능이 좋아지면서 많은 회사에서 VR 콘텐츠에 대응하여 VR기기를 출시하고 있다. 하지만 아직까지 VR에 대한 호환성 테스팅 방법은 제대로 제시되지 않고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 연구를 통해서 효과적이고 효율적인 호환성 테스트 방법을 제시한다.

IT has contributed much to Korea's economic growth and has helped the innovation of social paradigm. It helps the improvement of productivity, efficiency, convenience and communication, and also helps the critical changes of life style. IT convergence with other technologies or industries has appeared and it promotes new changes and innovations. It is the convergence of IT advancement and other areas of technology development, and it promotes and creates new industries. In major countries, including Korea, the resources and capabilities has focused selectively into this new industry. In this paper, we try to study IT integration strategy and technology development trends and to evaluate the level of IT integration capabilities in Korea based on experts survey results. In the conclusion, we suggest some Strategic Recommendations for developing and leading the new IT Convergence industries.

The analytic test results are as follows. This thesis categorized into independent variables, multiple factors, such as asset attributes, cost reduction expectation, corporate IT competence, service qualities, system adequacy, information security, easy system management, uncertain IT, supplier capacity, intra-industry competition. And, this research thesis categorized into moderators, the factor, such as the adequacy between suppliers and customers industries. And, this categorized into dependent variables, multiple factors, such as the effects of ASP introduction. But, it was analyzed that only cost reduction expectation out of independent variables had not positive effects on the effects of ASP introduction. And, it was confirmed that the higher communications between suppliers and customers' industries, and the higher fulfillment of contracts, suppliers' service qualities, and suppliers' cooperation with customers had the adjusting effects on factors of ASP-based introduction.

As exhaust gas systems of ships become more complicated, it is necessary to calculate an accurate pressure loss at their design stage. If the dynamic loss coefficients of non-standard fittings mainly used in exhaust gas pipe (EGP) are well-documented, it would be possible to calculate precise pressure loss more readily than using the conventional method that analyzes the entire system. In the case of a ship's EGP, the flow rates and temperatures of exhaust gas are determined by engine specifications, and the range of the flow rate and temperature is limited according to operating conditions. In addition, as it is possible to define non-standard fittings frequently used in an EGP, a database can be easily constructed and effective. This paper illustrates effective parameters and analysis cases of several types of non-standard fittings mounted in ship EGPs. The analysis procedure proposed in this paper is verified using existing research results on HVAC fittings. The numerical procedure, which is minimally affected by manpower and grid, is established such that it can be applied at the industry level.

Competitiveness of service industry in Korea is relatively lower than OECD countries'. Korean government, therefore, has been trying to improve the competitiveness of service industry by accelerating information technology (IT) adoption. Even though most of factors of IT can be contributed to improve the financial performance, it may be affected differently among various industry types and life cycles of companies. Therefore, it is one of very important research issues to analyze the influential effect of IT considering industry types and organizational life cycles in service industries. The purpose of this study is to find out critical success factors of IT which influence financial performance considering different types and life cycles of service industries. We developed the model and identified key success factors of IT adoption as IT system quality, Information quality, IT maintenance, CEO support, IT education of organization, and IT competence of user. Additional analysis of moderating effect by organizational life-cycle and types of service industry are conducted. For data sampling 856 companies are participated and total 2,000 questionnaires are collected. Structural equation modeling method is conducted for statistical analysis. The results show that the model is valid and most of success factors of it are very useful for improving financial performance of service industries except organizational IT education. Moderating effect of industry types and organizational life cycles is valid but partially accepted. The results might be able to provide useful directions and guide lines of IT acceleration in service industries.

The occupational health problems are the major issue in the modern industrial society. Especially the small scale industries have many hazardous factors and not any occupational health programs in itself. Fortunately. the government-funded subsidiary program was developed and carried out in the past six years in our country. The purposes of this study were to find out the actual condition of the occupational health personnel's accomplishments for the government-funded subsidiary program for small scale industries and to provide basic data for setting up more developed subsidiary occupational health program. Data were collected through 6 kinds of service records review. These service records were written by 3 occupational health personnels were attached to the one subject center of KIHA. were undertaken during March to December, 1997. at 95 small scale industries which were applied the government-funded subsidiary occupational health program. Results were as follows 1. Concerning 95 small scale industries showed characteristics of a typical small scale industry. 2. A doctor visited in industries total 190 times per year, average 19 industries per month, twice per year and industry. A hygienist visited in industries total 378 times per year, average 38 industries per month, four times per year and industry. A nurse visited in industries total 477 times per year. average 47 industries per month, 5 times per year and industry. 3. 3 occupational health personnels accomplished total 3,869 items. A doctor accomplished total 539 items per year, each time 3 items In an industry. A hygienist accomplished total 1.581 items per year, each time 4 items in an industry. A nurse accomplished total 1.749 items per year, each time 4 items in an industry. 4. The major contents of doctor's accomplishment were 'health consultation for suspicious worker with general & occupational disease', 'a check of the workplace & special health education', 'guidance of special medical examination in the second half of year', etc. The major contents of hygienist's accomplishment were 'pretest & guidance of planning for evaluation of working environment'. 'evaluation for ventilating facilities & suporting self inspection', 'guidance of MSDS recording & chemicals management', etc. The major contents of nurse's accamplishment were 'health counseling of general & special medical examination results'. 'health education of preventing occupational disease & health disorder'. 'guidance of subsidiary program planning', 'selecting & guidance of health monitor', etc. It was concluded that the occupaional health personnels implemented the subsidiary program according to the order of health management guide. The current health management guide of subsidiary occupational health program in which the fixed contents, visiting number & periods is not desirable. That guide is left the characteristics of small scale industries out of consideration. It is suggested that occupational health management guide should be developed according to the general & environmental characteristics of each small scale industry, and on the other hand, the more specific guide for each occupational health personnel should be developed.
