Korean ports have some problems in the aspect of quality & quantity in the bunkering process. Quality of bunker is assessed as more higher than competing ports. However, quality of bunkering procedure is assessed as lower. Especially, supply chain from loading of bunker to the bunker barge at oil terminal, transport it, and supply it to the ship has not been secured. Furthermore, aspect of quantity of bunker is more serious rather than that of quality of bunkering process. Disputes on the quantity of bunker between seller and buyer occur frequently, and residue & theft of bunker is also popularized issue and serious problem. Low bunkering fee is recognized as major reason of that problem, however, though low fee can be solved, it can not be necessary secured that problem could be solved, Therefore, this paper investigates and suggests the scheme to solve the quality problems of bunker supplying procedure, and develop solution toward advanced bunkering ports through removal of the quantity disputes. Concretely, this paper suggests introduction of quality system of bunker supply chain in the aspect of bunker supply procedure, and diversion from conventional sounding method to innovative Mass Flow Metering System in the aspect of bunker measuring. These two innovative solutions contribute to the removal and improvement of current structural problems in bunkering procedure.
This study intends to suggest the cooperative, win-win collaboration, as methods for settling disputes with the existing self-employed people over back-street business areas and disputes and conflicts between a franchiser and franchisees. In addition, it intends to analyze the Dunkin' Donuts purchasing cooperative in the US, where the franchising industry has been well developed; and to find the implications of cooperation strategies between Dunkin' Donuts and its franchisees that may be helpful for the South Korea's franchising industry. This study tries to discover a new model of the Korean-style franchise cooperative out of the basic principles and practice guidelines of cooperatives ranging from an early American franchise cooperative in 1955 to ARCOP, KFC, and Dunkin' Doughnuts in the late 1970s. Further, it looks into successful programs of a purchasing cooperative at Dunkin' Donuts such as TDP (Total Distribution Program), SFP (Shortening Futures Program) and DCP (Distribution Commitment Program). The case of the US Dunkin' Donuts, which operates the purchasing cooperative, suggests the following for the improvement of franchisees' profitability. First, relations of cooperation rather than of power are necessary between a franchiser and franchisees. Second, mutual solidarity of franchisees is necessary. Third, problems proper to the Korean franchise system should be improved. Fourth, an entrepreneurial spirit of going together rather than going fast is required. Fifth, complete satisfaction management is required. Considering different system environments between the two countries such as quantitative expansion within a short franchising history of 30 years or so and franchise profit models, there is a limit to generalizing down to a successful model of the win-win partnership cooperative. It is hoped that the sustainable management of the domestic franchising industry will be promoted in the future through the in-depth analysis of successful cooperatives.
The objective of this paper is to develop a automatic computation module for optimum stories in apartment buildings in order to assure the solar access right for neighboring areas. Compared to the existing solar access right analysis programs, the proposed solar access right analysis program is more improved and expanded by automating the computing process of optimum stories in apartment buildings. With the result of this research, it would be possible to furnish advanced information for an amicable settlement against the civil petition and disputes, to reduce waste of the time and money, and to improve the efficiency of solar access right analysis works.
The worldwide diffusion of COVID-19 contributes to electronic commerce all over the world. The proliferation of high volume and small value electronic commerce naturally has combined artificial intelligence with online dispute resolution (ODR). This paper investigates the age effect on Artificial Intelligence acceptability in online dispute resolution and its empirical findings are as follows. First, seven measures out of the nine employed in this case study shows a coherent dynamic pattern over the age spectrum. In other words, the total samples are a heterogenous group rather than a homogeneous one. Second, medium answer occupies a non-negligible portion across answers from nine research questions. It seems to indicate that a considerable portion of Korean respondents are hesitant to make a choice on artificial intelligence at this juncture. Third, all of the respondents agree that the introduction of AI to the dispute resolution could contribute to the hastening of the dispute resolution process. Fourth, most of the respondents agree that artificial intelligence might have the cognitive ability but not the sympathetic or affective ability to handle the electronic commerce disputes.

It is common to experience delays during construction projects. Delays can ca use substantial damages to an owner as well as contractors and is the sources of frequent disputes and claims. Many studies have been carried out to assess the causes of delays in construction projects. They are found to be almost similar, except some prevailed local condition. Most of the common construction delay factors are attributed to design faults, incompetent contractor, lack of team accountability etc. To minimize or eliminate the delay we have to follow the recognized fundamental principles of management such as: cost-time relationship, time priority, accountability, rewards, innovative thinking etc. The root causes of delays found out in this paper are not so much different than other previous study. If the implementing agencies properly followed the, fundamental management principles and some other related corrections as recommended in the paper, much construction delays can be avoided.
The purpose of this study is to develop a automation for decision of the optimum stories in apartment buildings in order to assure the solar access right for neighboring areas. Compared to the results of the optimum stories by manual process through applying a legal case over solar access right, the proposed method provides more improved and expanded information by automating the computing process of decision of the optimum stories in apartment buildings. With the result of this research, it would be possible to furnish with advanced information for an amicable settlement against the civil petition and disputes, to reduce waste of the time and cost and to improve the efficiency of solar access right analysis works.
Arbitration is a creature of contract. The parties agree that selective dispute resolution clause provides them with a choice to litigate or arbitrate certain disputes. Under the agreements, the parties had the option in the action. In the event any dispute arises between the parties concerning our representation or payment of our fees and disbursements which cannot be promptly resolved to our mutual satisfaction, you agree that dispute will be submitted to arbitration. Arbitration is a matter of contract and a party cannot be required to submit to arbitration any dispute which he has not agreed so to submit. The selective arbitration agreement has become an accepted method of dispute resolution. However, the trend of dispute settlement has changed. The selective arbitrations clauses are to be construed as broadly as possible, and arbitration will be compelled unless it may be said with positive assurance that arbitration clause is not susceptible of an interpretation that covers the asserted dispute.
The electronic trade(e-Trade) revolution is changing the international trade processes dramatically. It permits new kinds of interactions among exporting and importing firms as well as internally within the firms. Ever since the Internet became a popular communications medium in the 1990s, lawmakers have struggled to develop rules for determining which courts can hear disputes involving parties in different choice of law and jurisdictions. In conclusion, I suggest an ongoing research agenda for further refining and developing a more comprehensive cosmopolitan approach. Certainly, as these cases make clear, reconceptualizing the principles underlying court to-court relations is essential in a world where the idea of a transnational community of courts is fast becoming one of the dominant realities of twenty-first century law.

Diverse sports are appearing due to the enhanced quality of life and improved cultural standards of the present society. In particular, as golf gains greater popularity from the public, many golf ranges are being constructed near residential areas. However, the hitting noise generated by golf disrupt the pleasant living environment of neighboring residents to generate strong disputes related with noise. In this perspective, this study analyzed the characteristics and dispersion of sound pressure level according to the frequency of hitting noises generated in golf driving ranges and used this data to predict the range of effect through computer simulation. Thus, it is stipulated that these research results can be used as useful data for establishing effective plans in the future during civil complaints reported in relation to hitting noises in golf driving ranges.
