This paper reviews how to access the ergonomic information through internet-the world-wide computer networks. Recently, with the growth of hypertext type Internet-the WWW (World-Wide Web), it becomes much easier to access to the Internet and we can retrieve information very effeciently. In order to search the ergonomic information, this paper also reviews the famous Web search engines like Lycos, Web Crawler, and meta-indices like YAHOO. Also, useful Web-sites of ergonomics/human factors such as ErgoWeb are summarised.

This paper examines begins by examining the priorities of the different stakeholders in universities. It then lists some unique technology transfer models practiced by both universities and companies. This is followed by a discussion on the current models of universities and businesses, and science parks and universities. The paper then recommends a new model for science park university engagement that includes six initiatives to make science parks more relevant to universities.

This paper describes an experimental system for automatic robot programming, The SNU-ARPS (Seoul National University Automatic Robot Programming System). The SNU-ARPS generates executable robot programs for pick and place operation and some simple mechanical assembly tasks by menudriven dialog. It is intended to enable the user to concentrate on the overall operation sequence instead of the knowledge regarding the details of robot languages. To convert task specifications into manipulator motions, the SNU-ARPS uses an internal representation of the world. This representation initially consists of geometric database from CAD system and is updated at each operation step to reflect the state changes of the world.

This paper is a part of “Researchs on the Standards in the Building Acoustic Field”, as one of KS revision projects. The aim of this study is to define the requirements for measuring the reverberation time and other major room acoustical parameters.

It was investigated on this paper that the status of biomass energy utilization in the registered CDM projects. The ratio of the case including the energy recovery among the registered biomass CDM projects is just about 57%. Direct thermal conversion technology is the most commonly applied for biomass energy recovery projects. Through the comparative study with world renewable energy outlook, the contribution of CDM to biomass energy supply in the world is not considerable yet.

Last twenty years since the introduction of library science as a new scholarship to Korea are considered as a period of imitation and wander. We are supposed to try relevant changes in library education to settle it down and to keep up with world trends in Korea. This paper discusses development and status quo of curricula in foreign countries and tries to show a guide for the library science field in Korea. The writer makes recommendations for the improvement of curricula for Korean library schools.

Revision and establish of KS(Korean Standards) is currently actively discussed. It is just the time for a new world class standards under the new system with WTO(World Trade Organization). This paper is a part of "Researchs on the Standards in Railway rolling stock Field", as one of KS establish projects. The aim of this study is to define the requirements of railway rolling stock-designs, manufacture, and test methods for automatic complex coupler. In the former KS, there is no items matched with this purpose. Therefore a new part of KS is proposed.
