As we enter the technology and knowledge-intensive era, standardization has become a key element to increase the sustainability of companies. However, standardization activities have not been proceeded well due to lack of relevant information, financial and human resources and complexity of the authentication process. Thus, in this paper, we analyze the effect of understanding the internal and external standard trends surrounding companies and recognizing the difficulties of standardization process on the needs of standard/standardization education. We suggest an experiment model and associated variables for analysis based on the previous studies. The analysis results from 1,000 companies that belong to telecommunication industry and electrical and electronics industry showed positive relationships among these three variables. Furthermore, we propose major policy directions for increasing standardization effect.

The industry of cultural digital contents has been regarded as the main next generation industry. Recently techniques for restoring cultural assets and the multiple usage of those have been developed in our country. Using computer graphics and image processing techniques, many cultural assets have been restored. If the focus for researches and supports to cultural assets restoration grows rapidly, we will create cultural and economical added-values and get the benefit of that technology. In this paper, we introduce the techniques for restoring cultural assets focused on computer graphics and image processing techniques.

Overseas expansion by small and medium-sized enterprises of the Korean software industry has been sluggish, with many SMEs lacking the necessary capabilities required for successful entry into the overseas markets. This study aims to identify the capabilities SMEs require to advance into overseas markets and develop a diagnosis model for evaluating overseas entry capability appropriate to the characteristics of SMEs. A basic research was first performed to gain a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of the software industry, software exports, and SMEs. Based on this research, the study aimed to develop a model for diagnosing overseas entry capability of SMEs by dividing the required overseas entry capability into globalization capability in product area and internal competence from a resource-based perspective. In addition, This study aims to contribute to the success of SMEs in overseas markets by presenting a diagnosis model that evaluates the capabilities required to advance into overseas markets.

Punctuality is one of the key performance indicators of the airline industry and an important service differentiator especially for valuable customers. In addition, improvement on time performance can help achieve cost saving, i.e. the cost of airline report, which could range from 0.6% to 2.9% of their operating revenues. Therefore efficient management of punctuality is crucial for the industry. This study overcomes the limitations of existing analyses on punctuality and develops a multi-dimensional model for airport punctuality analysis. In addition to analysis of airport punctuality, visual analysis is also proposed in the study. Data was collected from actual flight data of Incheon International Airport. Using the new visual analysis method, the study discovered the pattern of the punctuality that has never studied before.

Bandwidth Trading(BT) represents a potential market with over 1 trillion USD across the world and high growth potential. BT is also likely to accelerate globalization of the telecommunications industry and massive restructuring driven by unbundling rush. However, systematic researches on BT remain at an infant stage. This study starts with structure analysis of the Internet industry, and discusses significance of Internet interconnection with respect to BT Issues. We also describe the bandwidth commoditization trends and review technical requirements for effective Internet interconnection with BT capability. Taking a step further, this study explores the possibility of improving efficiency of network providers and increasing user convenience by developing an architectural prototype of Hub-&-Spoke interconnection model required to facilitate BT. The BT market provides an Innovative base to ease rigidity of two-party contract and Increase service efficiency. However, as fair, efficient operation by third party is required, this research finally proposes an exchanging hub named NIBX(New Internet Business eXchange).

The data is a key catalyst for the development of the fourth industry, and has been viewed as an essential element of the new industry, with technology convergence such as artificial intelligence, augmented/virtual reality, self-driving and 5 G. This will determine the price and value of the data as the user uses data in which the data is based on the context of the situation, rather than the data itself of the past supplier-centric data. This study began with, what factors will increase the value of data from a user perspective not a supplier perspective The study was limited to public data and users conducted research on users using data, such as analysis or development based on data. The study was designed to gauge the value of data that was not studied in the user's perspective, and was instrumental in raising the value of data in the jurisdiction of supplying and managing data.

Ramie (Boehmeria nivea M.) has been used for fiber materials in Korea traditionally, but in recent years, the concern with ramie leaves for the food industry such as tteok (a kind of Korean rice cake) industry has been increasing, so a study for eatable ramie is required for the expansion of ramie consumption. Moreover, the ramie varieties for the food industry are not established, so the natural species are cultivated in general; therefore, it is very important to select the ramie varieties for the food industry such as rice cakes, tea, beverage and so on. This study was undertaken to compare the physiochemical properties among 9 ramie lines selected in the Yeonggwang-gun Agricultural Technology Center to select the eatable ramie varieties for the food industry. The contents of the protein among 9 ramie lines was 6.21~7.56% and had the highest content in the YG55. The folic acid (folate) and vitamin C content had varying differences among the 9 lines; the content of folate showed $771.52{\sim}1,978.84{\mu}g%$, that of vitamin C showed 149.42~275.34 mg%. The ACE inhibitory activity appeared to be the highest in YG88 (21.5%) among the 9 ramie varieties tested.

Influences of convergent services on the overall industry has become noticeable. Various services are becoming to converge into a single platform because of ever-hanging needs of digital service users. However, few studies have investigated how users' perception of convergent services as well as the quality of experience that service users have while using the convergent services. Therefore, this study aims at identifying perceived patterns of convergent services by IPTV users, which is one of the representative convergent-ervice platforms. It also aims at identifying the impact of perceived convergence pattern on the relationship between goal congruency among individual services and the quality of user experience. Two empirical studies were conducted to accomplish the research goals. We have constructed two prototypes of convergent digital services in the IPTV environment and conducted controlled experiments to verify the research hypotheses. The results indicate that design similarities of two services substantially influence the perceived patterns of convergent services. It was also found that the perceived convergent patterns have significant moderating effects on the impact of perceived goal congruence upon the quality of user experience. This paper ends with limitations as well as implications of the study results.

The Korean mobile telecommunication service market is faced with a tremendous competitive period, in which the market is entering into the maturity stage with launching of the 3rd generation service and with introduction of mobile number portability. In general, it is more important to sustain the old customers than to attracting new customers, as the life cycle of an industry is entering the maturity stage in which the growth rate of new customers is decreasing gradually or becoming stagnant. Thus, mobile telecommunication business has to seek a way to maintain the existing customers instead of promoting new customers. So this study investigates whether the service quality of mobile telecommunication could have effects on the switching barrier of the industry. In order to test the hypothesis on the effects of service quality of mobile telecommunication in Korea on switching barrier, this study collected the questionnaire response data of students including middle and high school students and undergraduates, who are regarded as the major customers in that mobile telecommunication industry.

Mobile communication industry is attracting a lot of attention all over the world and is expected to continue developing endlessly with the current rapid development of IT industry. Nowadays, mobile communication companies of vietnam are competing about service quality in order to retain existing customers and improve customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. This study attempts to research about the effect of mobile communication service quality on customer satisfaction and affecting relationship between customers satisfaction and customer loyalty. In this research empirically examine how mobile communication service quality influence customer loyalty in Vietnam. To do this, after considering characteristics of mobile communication service quality, quality measurement instrument was designed including call quality, call charge, cellphone, added service quality, corporate image, employee's attitude, and behavior. The study finds that all factors of call quality, added servces quality, corporate image, employee's attitude and behavior have positive effect on customer satisfaction except call charge and customers satisfaction also effects customers loyalty positively. From these results, Vietnam domestic mobile communication companies and foreign companies can grasp the general information about Vietnam mobile communication industry, and then, establish customers satisfaction strategies more effectively.
