A Study on the Container Tax Collection of Busan City (부산시의 컨테이너세 징수에 관한 연구)

  • Busan Port which is the representative social overhead capital facilities for international trade of goods has been the driving force for economic development in Korea. Therefore, the central government should play the major role in building a rear road to Busan Port in order that it may function as a mojor port of Northeastern Asia through the systemization of mutual assistance among connected facilities, completely equipped with port-related facilities befitting to the principal port of imports and exports. In this study, the validity of container tax is being examined, analyzing container tax which Is considered as an obstacle to the development of Busan Port and its purpose, and grasping the present conditions by the realistic speculation on container tax issues and its abolition. First, the port rear road as a social overhead capital facilities, which connects port and expressway, should be considered as part of port, and port is social overhead capital invested by government. Second, the susan City imposes on container tax. As a result, a shipper and a shipping company are paying a double charge by paying container tax with port dues. Third, someone argues that port rear road is constructed as container truck generates much traffic, but it is unreasonable to conclude that container truck is seed of traffic jam because according to traffic survey of Busan City, container truck occupies only 1.45% of total traffic Forth, it has bad influence upon the competitiveness of Busan Port as Northeastern logistics base, as other ports who are competing with Busan Port like Singapore.   • In order to improve the productivity and continuous competitiveness of container terminals, it is necessary to make efforts to reduce operational losses at each terminal. As a study on this, it is necessary to study the non-productivity movement based on the shuffle(re-handling) in the yard analysis is needed. In this study, non - productive activity factors were classified by prefecture, transporter, shippers and terminal based on operation data of domestic A terminal. As a result, 14.7% is due to the causes of shipping companies and shipping companies, and in addition, 85.3% of the respondents indicated that they were responsible for the terminal operation. In order to minimize the above factors, it is necessary to reduce the non-productive activity through rapid information processing and pre-information acquisition from shipping companies, and minimize the influence of bulge-out through installation of concrete blocks in the equipment field.

  • VIP marketing has recently become the main concern in the field of marketing, which could increase customer loyalty and sales through providing customers in the top 20% with customized services. In this study, some cases of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology based VIP channel management are introduced and analyzed in the technology point of view. As a result of case studies, it has been shown what the companies may consider when applying RFID technology in customer relationship management (CRM) and its general scenario. As one of the AIDC(Automatic Identification and Data Capture) technologies, RFID can enable to identify humans or objects with radio frequency and is being widely used to many industrial areas such as logistics, delivery, inventory management, and so on. If this technology is applied to CRM as a new channel for customer management, it will be possible to provide an individual customer with various types of intelligent services customized to his or her spending habits. RFID for CRM channel management is still in its early stages, but it is sure that RFID technology will be an useful tool to manage customers including especially VIP in many businesses and capture important information applicable to marketing campaign in the near future.

  • Recently, many high-rise buildings have been constructed, and are under construction. And a high-rise building with more than 100 floors is under planning. From site logistics management point of view, it is very important to manage vertical transportation of resource (e.g., material, equipment and construction labors) in high-rise building construction. The higher the building is constructed, the more important it is to manage for vertical transportation of it. In case of labors, vertical movement needs longer time in high-rise building construction than in low-rise. This results in low productivity and work efficiency of the construction. Therefore, this study presents a process of a vertical movement plan for labors using discrete-event simulation. And then the process applies to MT 130 project, which is a virtual high-rise building construction project.

  • According to the issue "global warming", many regulations and agreements with countries in the world are becoming set and it is being fulfill now. Under the progress of Post Kyoto Protocol agreement, It will be sure that Korea rave a duty to reduce $CO_2$ emission from 2013. For them, Korea have to make a strategies about the Climatic Change Convention for all industries. Recently, a great attention about $CO_2$ emission in the world is focused on port, shipping line and airline. Most countries are establishing policies to prevent environment from these industry fields, but Korea has not yet made for them. Thus, Korea need to collect $CO_2$ emission data not only the routes of container from port but also activities in the port. In this paper, an estimation of $CO_2$ emission under the route of container transportation at Korea by using O/D analysis will be addressed. And then, it will be used to make a optimal routes of container transportation which can reduce $CO_2$ emission in future.

  • In this paper, we build a web ERP system that is focused on the logistics, storage, materials management to establish internal enterprise information system for small business. This system is possible to be transformed to separated modules so it is possible to be modified and added easily. And it is also implemented to provide mobile interlace for mobility extension. The ShopE.R ERP system is a solution that can be reorganized flexibly according to variable changes in the corporate business processes.

Development of Smart Factory Diagnostic Model Reflecting Manufacturing Characteristics and Customized Application of Small and Medium Enterprises (제조업 특성을 반영한 스마트공장 진단모델 개발 및 중소기업 맞춤형 적용사례)

  • This study is to develop a diagnostic model for the effective introduction of smart factories in the manufacturing industry, to diagnose SMEs that have difficulties in building their own smart factory compared to large enterprise, to identify the current level and to present directions for implementation. IT, AT, and OT experts diagnosed 18 SMEs using the "Smart Factory Capacity Diagnosis Tool" developed for smart factory level assessment of companies. They analyzed the results and assessed the level by smart factory diagnosis categories. Companies' smart factory diagnostic mean score is 322 out of 1000 points, between 1 level (check) and 2 level (monitoring). According to diagnosis category, Factory Field Basic, R&D, Production/Logistics/Quality Control, Supply Chain Management and Reference Information Standardization are high but Strategy, Facility Automation, Equipment Control, Data/Information System and Effect Analysis are low. There was little difference in smart factory level depending on whether IT system was built or not. Also, Companies with large sales amount were not necessarily advantageous to smart factories. This study will help SMEs who are interested in smart factory. In order to build smart factory, it is necessary to analyze the market trends, SW/ICT and establish a smart factory strategy suitable for the company considering the characteristics of industry and business environment.

  • In spite of various safety measures, coastal safety accidents continue to occur, so this study focused on using drones as countermeasures. Municipalities that already have coasts have begun operating unmanned multicopters for coastal safety management. In particular, by connecting an unmanned multi-copter to the currently applied smart city safety net system, it is possible to transmit real-time images of the scene in case of emergency in the coastal area to the local government safety information center. It is also expected to contribute significantly to strengthening safety management in coastal waters through a more rapid response to safety accidents. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the use of drones as an alternative to the limitations of the domestic coastal safety system by investigating the state of coastal safety accidents and analyzing the state of domestic coastal safety systems. In addition, it is expected to be a key breakthrough in the coastal area safety system by proposing a model linking the Korean K-Drone system.

The Monitoring System of Temperature and Humidity on Vehicle for HACCP (HACCP을 위한 차량용 온습도 모니터링 시스템)

  • HACCP is scientific Sanitary control system to ensure food safety with autonomous, systematic and effective way by analysing hazard element that can be occurred in each steps until an end consumer takes food including raw material status, manufacturing, processing, storing, distributing, cooking and specifying the critical control point. In this paper, the temperature and humidity are measured during the transport of food, the stage of its distribution, to ensure systematic and effective management of HACCP, and we designed a monitoring terminal that uses this information to send it to servers periodically and a firmware that implements it. We have confirmed that the data transmitted by the terminal, including the information measured in sub-net, was well stored on the server and the response from the server is well received by the terminal. It is expected to be used for the management of food history, data tracking and statistical data in the future. This system is also considered to be an applicable system for group cafeteria such as schools or workplaces and logistics warehouses for raw materials or food storage and so on.

The Effect of International Diversification on Dividend Payout ratio and Dividend Yield Rate (국제적 다각화가 배당성향 및 배당수익률에 미치는 효과 분석)

  • In this study, how international diversification of domestic companies increases corporate profits and increases the dividend income of paid-in capital investors, who provided the basis for corporate business activities in the process of distributing profits. I tried to find out if it had an effect. An empirical analysis was conducted using a fixed-effect model for companies with settlements at the end of December listed on the domestic securities market from 2011 to 2018. It was confirmed that the higher the level of international diversification of individual companies, the higher the company's dividend payout ratio and dividend yield. This means that companies can steadily expand corporate profits and dividend yield of shareholders by securing new overseas markets through international diversification, it can be seen that a company's international diversification strategy can contribute to the increase of corporate value by increasing the company's dividend payout ratio by increasing dividendable profit.
