Background: This study aimed to identified the relationship between the risk of obstructive sleep apnea, subjective health, and health-related quality of life among the middle-aged and elderly population in Korea. Methods: Adults aged 40 or older were extracted from the total 22,559 respondents to the 2019-2020 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey VIII, and secondary analysis was conducted on a total of 6,659 middle-aged and elderly people with no missing values. Logistic regression analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted to examine the relationship between obstructive sleep apnea risk factors and subjective health as well as quality of life. Results: The subjective health status decline in the high-risk group compared to the non-risk group for obstructive sleep apnea was statistically significantly higher, with an odds ratio of 1.84 (p<0.001). The health-related quality of life was also statistically significantly lower by 0.02 points (β, -0.02; p<0.001). As a result of subgroup analysis on specific variables, the association between the risk of obstructive sleep apnea and subjective health and health-related quality of life was statistically significant depending on gender, sleep time, presence of depression, household income, and number of household members. Based on the obstructive sleep apnea risk group, women had a higher correlation with low subjective health and lower health-related quality of life scores than men. Sleeping time of more than 8 hours or less than 6 hours was more associated with low subjective health and lower health-related quality of life score than sleeping time of 6-8 hours. Patients with depression were more likely to have low subjective health than those without depression. The lower the household income level and the smaller the number of household members, the higher the association with low subjective health and the lower the health-related quality of life score. Conclusion: It is essential to recognize that the risk of obstructive sleep apnea not only directly affects sleep disorders but also impacts individuals' subjective health and quality of life. Consequently, social support and education should be provided to raise awareness of this issue. Particularly, programs for preventing and managing obstructive sleep apnea should target vulnerable groups such as women, individuals in single-person households, low household income, and those with depression, aiming to improve their subjective health and quality of life.

Recently, there have been lots of study for disease-genetic association using SNPs and haplotypes. Statistical methods and tools for various types of data are developed by many researchers. However, there is no unified software which can handle most of major analysis, and the methods and manners to deal with data are quite different through softwares. And thus it is not easy to researcher to choose proper software. In this study, we devide analyzing procedures into three steps: preliminary analysis, population-based analysis and family-based analysis. We review the statistical methods for each step and compare the features of the FBAT, SAS/Genetics, SAGE and R as major integrating softwares for genetic study.

As a big data is being used in various industries, big data market is expanding from hardware to infrastructure software to service software. Especially it is expanding into a huge platform market that provides applications for holistic and intuitive visualizations such as big data meaning interpretation understandability, and analysis results. Demand for big data extraction and analysis using social media such as SNS is very active not only for companies but also for individuals. However despite such high demand for the collection and analysis of social media data for user trend analysis and marketing, there is a lack of research to address the difficulty of dynamic interlocking and the complexity of building and operating software platforms due to the heterogeneity of various social media service interfaces. In this paper, we propose a method for developing a framework to operate the process from collection to extraction and classification of social media data. The proposed framework solves the problem of heterogeneous social media data collection channels through adapter patterns, and improves the accuracy of social topic extraction and classification through semantic association-based extraction techniques and topic association-based classification techniques.

This paper deals with data association using 3 sets of passive linear array sonars (PUS) geometrically positioned in a Y-shaped configuration, but fixed in an underwater environment. The data association problem is directly transformed into a 3-D assignment problem, which is known to be NP-hard. For generic passive sensors, it can be sotted using conventional algorithms, while it in PLAS becomes a formidable task due to the presence of bearing ambiguity. In particular, we proposed data association method robust to bearing measurements errors by incorporating frequency information and analyze a region of ghost problem by geometrical relation PUS and target. We analyzed the effectiveness of the proposed method by representative simulation in multi-target.

For both customers and companies, it is very important to analyze online customer reviews, which consist of small documents that include opinions or experiences about products or services, because the customers can get good informations and the companies can establish good marketing strategies. In this paper, we propose the association model for the opinion mining which can analyze customer opinions posted on web. The association model is to modify the association rules mining model in data mining in order to apply efficiently and effectively the association mining techniques to the opinion mining. We designed and implemented the opinion mining systems based on the modified association model and the grouping idea which would enable it to generate significant rules more.

Entrepreneurs should continuously invest resource and capital for a long time to get tangible business results. In order to be successful, despite difficulties, it is essential for entrepreneurs to continue entrepreneurial businesses without giving up too early. Thus, it can be said that organizational commitment of entrepreneurs is essential for success. According to previous studies, the organizational commitment of entrepreneurs has a significant effect on organizing, establishments of new firms and new product developments. The purpose of this article is to examine the relationships among learning orientation, innovativeness and organizational commitment of entrepreneurs. Especially, we focus on the mediating effect of innovativeness in the relationship between learning orientation and organizational commitment and the moderating effect of career relevance among the relationships. Based on empirical analysis, we reported the following results. First, learning orientation, innovativeness and career relevance of entrepreneurs had significant positive effects on organizational commitment. Second, it was found that innovativeness of entrepreneurs has a partial mediating effect on the relationship between learning orientation and organizational commitment. Third, using Baron & Kenny's hierarchical multiple regression analysis, we examined the moderating effect of career relevance among the relationships of learning orientation, innovativeness and organizational commitment. Third, because the interaction term was found to be positively significant, it was concluded there is a moderating effect of career relevance between learning orientation and innovativeness. This means, when career relevance was higher than average, the influence of learning orientation on innovation increases even more. Fourth, it was also found there is a moderating effect of career relevance between learning orientation and organizational commitment. However, the results of the mediated moderating effect analysis showed the moderating effect of career relevance between learning orientation and organization commitment is an indirect effect of moderating effect of career relevance between learning orientation and innovativeness mediated by innovativeness.

This paper attempts to offer an effective strategy of hedge fund based on trade probability control in the futures market. By using various technical indicators, we create an association rule and transforms it into a trading rule to be used as an investment strategy. Association rules are made by the combination of various technical indicators and the range of individual indicator value. Adjustments of trade probabilities are performed by depending on the rule combinations and it can be utilized to establish an effective investment strategy onto the risk management. In order to demonstrate the superiority of the investment strategy proposed, we analyzed a profitability using the futures index based on KOSPI200. Experiments results show that our proposed strategy could effectively manage and response the dynamics investment risks.

In this paper, I am going to analyze a correlation of Jacques Lacan's Mirror Stage and the process of remediation on image media. It is because the remediation process of various digital media is letting people pass through one time of mirror stage again. Remediation for the Internet of traditional media, conflict with the virtual world and real world, identification that a virtual image changes a practical image is for it to be caused a remediation process by mutual link of various image media. The Narcissism which occurs in the relation a self with a idealized self searches a new own expression and forms a skillful mania culture. Reflexivity of active mania culture same as a Jacques Lacan's Mirror Stage is to be the possibility becoming the feature of media culture of today. However, if digital media culture generation spends extremely wasting time from the image media, these image media generations cannot grow into new future-type man. According to this, it is necessory to have a study on Visual Literacy that it is related to a Jacques Lacan's Mirror Stage.

As the Web technologies and wired/wireless network are improved and various new multimedia services are introduced recently, need for searching multimedia including video data has been much increasing, The previous approaches for multimedia retrieval, however, do not make use of the relationships among semantic concepts contained in multimedia contents in an efficient way and provide only restricted search results, This paper proposes a multimedia retrieval system exploiting semantic relevancy of multimedia contents based on a domain ontology, We show the effectiveness of the proposed system by experiments on a prototype system we have developed. The proposed multimedia retrieval system can extend a given search keyword based on the relationships among the semantic concepts in the ontology and can find a wide range of multimedia contents having semantic relevancy to the input keyword. It also presents the results categorized by the semantic meaning and relevancy to the keyword derived from the ontology. Independency of domain ontology with respect to metadata on the multimedia contents is preserved in the proposed system architecture.

In electronic commerce, it is important for users to recommend the proper item among large item sets with saving time and effort. Therefore, if the recommendation system can be recommended the suitable item, we will gain a good satisfaction to the user. In this paper, we proposed the associative relation clustering split method in the collaborative filtering in order to perform the accuracy and the scalability. We produce the lift between associative items using the ratings data. and then split the node group that consists of the item to improve an efficiency of the associative relation cluster. This method differs the association about the items of groups. If the association of groups is filled, the reminding items combine. To estimate the performance, the suggested method is compared with the K-means and EM in the MovieLens data set.
