As media become diversified, animation fields are being expanded. Various types of animations which were not seen in the past have appeared and the fields which did not have a suffix of "animation" now use the words of animation like motion graphic-animation or interactive-animation. This thesis is a comparative analysis study of U.S. animation education. This study collected and reviewed respective curricula of total 5 universities such as Academy of Art University, California Art of Institute), Ringling College of Art and Design, Rhode Island School of Design, and School of Visual Arts which have led U.S. animation education since animation education was first introduced in 1961. Based on the result drawn from the analysis on the classification of animation curricula into a required subject, an elective subject, liberal arts, a theory subject and a practical subject, it intends to consider improvements of Korean animation curriculum.

The purpose of this study is to use films character education lessons to be enabled. For this study an experiment was conducted with students to character education lessons in the University of Baekseok. It was to observe whether the student's satisfaction with the questionnaire in the last lesson of character education. Observations of character education with film are very effective for University students. Therefore, this paper is to share the following results. First, this study is a model of teaching character education through film that would be proposed. Second, using film character education lessons will be conducted in a real university. Thus, the satisfaction of students will be examined. Third, using film to demonstrate the effectiveness of character education classes would be. Finally, the use of film in teaching character education curriculum according to the character would be proposed.

Purpose: This study was to notify improvements needed in Cultural studies and Basic subjects to make Ophthalmic optic major curriculum qualitatively better, based on demand for cultural studies and basic subjects on and off the campus. Methods: A survey with questionnaires were carried out for both students and opticians in different provinces. For students, Gyunggi province, Gyunman province, Jeonnam province, and Jeonbuk province, and for opticians Seoul, Daejeon, Gyunggi province, and Jeonbuk province were selected. Results: Students' demand for expanding English courses in Foreign language curriculum was the highest and had significant difference between 2-years college and 3 or 4-years college ( p<.01), and opticians' demand differed from 2-years college and 3-years college ( p<.05). Students' demand for expanding Biology courses in science curriculum was the highest, and also a difference in expansion demands for Biology and physics subjects between 2-years college and 4-years college ( p<.05). There was also a difference in expansion demands for Vocational ethics and Management subjects in Basic subjects between 2-years college and 4-years college ( p<.05), and for Vocational ethic subject demands between college students and opticians ( p<.001), but for Management subject, both students and opticians demanded it to be expanded highly. Conclusions: Expansion and reinforcement in Management subject in Ophthalmic optic major was needed, as both Ophthalmic optic major students and opticians had the highest demand for this subject.

We compared and analyzed the factors affecting the lecture evaluation of IT subjects, which are mandatory for all students of H University. The purpose of this study is to determine whether lecture satisfaction has a significant correlation with academic achievement, attendance rate, and categories of courses. In this study, we check whether the lecture satisfaction of IT liberal arts subjects that require a lot of computer-based practice differs from that of other liberal arts subjects. We used the 2,149 evaluation data of 12 lectures submitted by 2,322 students in the first and second semesters of year 2019 at University H. As for the lecture evaluation results, in addition to the evaluation scores of the multiple choice questions, the subjective questions were also quantified by classifying the statements submitted by the students into positive and negative types to make the results of the lecture evaluation objective. Our research results show that student group who have the higher attendance rates and academic achievements have higher level of lecture satisfaction and they also use more positive words than negative words in subjective evaluation questions. Students with the lower score use the more negative words, but the ratio between positive and negative words does not differ between groups. Higher attendance rates groups in the basic programming courses and software applications courses have higher lecture satisfaction ratio. But in the intermediate programming courses, the higher attendances rate and the lecture satisfaction do not have any significant relationship. Also students in the intermediate programming courses use more negative words than those in the basic programming courses.

The purpose of this study is to explore the future direction of university liberal arts classes at a time when many educational institutions have returned to face-to-face instruction as social distancing related to COVID-19 has been eliminated. A survey was conducted with 187 college students who took a liberal arts class that included a combination of online and in-person classes. The results found that learners were generally satisfied with remote learning (87.8%). The reasons for this high level of satisfaction included sufficient comprehension of class content, systematic class progress, and the efficiency and convenience of learning in a remote environment. Satisfaction levels for in-person classes (66%) were relatively lower than those for remote classes, and this is reflected in the preference for class type. Among wholly in-person, wholly remote, and a combination of both, it was found that learners preferred remote classes the most (54.4%). When conducting in-person classes, instructors must devise a class plan that incorporates the advantages of online remote classes.

The age of the $4^{th}$ Industrial revolution characterized with artificial intelligence leads to increased interest in emotional aspects representing humanity as counterpart competence to the digital literacy, As the educational model to foster emotional intelligence, noticed is 'maker education based on design thinking process,' since it cultivates the spirits of empathy, intuitive thinking, collaboration, communication, sharing, and openness. In this context, this study aimed to examine relationship between the educational model and emotional intelligence. For this purpose, a case study has been conducted with 37 undergraduate students in an University general education class, and the results of data collection and analysis confirmed positive influences of the program in enhancing most components of the emotional intelligence.

Recently the era of software integration which is expressed in words of the fourth industrial revolution has begun. Thus the need of the software education for the non-major preservice teachers who are cultivating future talent has been increasing and it is necessary to foster a positive attitude toward software education of non-major preservice teachers. The purpose of this study is to verify the causality between the computer learning attitude factors of non-major preservice teachers in the software education class. To analyze the causality, we performed correlational analysis and regression analysis between the exterior factors of attention, self-learning, application of learning and the other interior factors of computer learning attitude. As a result, the significant factor of attention was interests, and the significant factor of self-learning was superiority, and the significant factors of the application of learning were the sense of purpose and the motive of accomplishment.

Multiple-choice survey types have been mainly performed to analyze students' needs for online classes. However, in order to analyze the exact needs of students, unstructured data analysis by answer for essay question is required. Big data is applied in various fields because it is possible to analyze unstructured data. This study aims to investigate and analyze what students want subjects or topics for software lecture in general education that process on non-face-to-face online teaching methods. As for the experimental method, keyword analysis and association analysis of big data were performed with unstructured data by giving a subjective questionnaire to students. By the result, we are able to know the keyword what the students want for software lecture, so it will be an important data for planning and designing software lecture of liberal arts in the future as students can grasp the topics they want to learn.

Development of information & communication technologies brought a lot of changes into a fashion industry system. However, because of the shortages of ICT quality of leaner, It must spare a section equivalent for ICT literacy during educational contents. In secondary education and the culture process of a university It is because ICT literacy education was not realized directly. This study is purposed to present more desirable direction the curriculum of Fashion Design, in order to study like the fashion design technical education division, defined the ICT literacy ability that leaner must have and under the tyrannies that that kind of ICT quality ability was had, designed a educational 'process in the fashion design that utilized the ICT which was suitable for information oriented society.

The purpose of this study is to examine how academic achievement in college math courses differ depending on when the course takes place. As a result, based on years of data analyses on students' academic achievement, it was affirmed that achievement levels differ due to environmental factors despite the diverse efforts of instructors and students. By further analyzing the causes of these differences, this study suggests solutions for improving the different academic achievement levels.
