Safety culture is a collection of the beliefs, perceptions and values that employees share in relation to risks within an organisation. On the other hand, a resilient safety culture (RSC) means a culture with readiness of the organisation to respond effectively under stress, bounce back from shocks and continuously learn from them. RSC helps organisations to protect their interest which can be attributed to behavioural, psychological and managerial capabilities of the organization. Quantification of the degree of resilience in an organisation's safety culture can provide insights about the strong and weak links of the organisation's overall health and safety situation by identifying potential causes of system or sub-system failure. One of the major challenges of quantification of RSC is that the attributes that determine RSC need to be measured through constructs and indicators which are complex and often interrelated. In this paper, we address this challenge by applying a fault tree analysis (FTA) technique which can help analyse complex and interrelated constructs and indicators. The fault tree model of RSC is used to evaluate resilience levels of two organisations with remote and urban locations in order to demonstrate the failure path of the weak links in the RSC model.
The present study tested a multivariate model of direct and indirect influences of family Socioeconomic Status (SES) on children's early reading skills at kindergarten entry. The data used here are from one of the largest national databases in the USA, the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study-Kindergarten cohort (ECLS-K). Utilizing structural equation modeling, the results revealed that a number of factors within parental characteristics, home practices, and SES come together to influence children's early reading skills. SES operated primarily indirectly through home literacy activities and also directly in influencing reading. In addition, parental beliefs about kindergarten readiness mediated the relation between SES and home literacy activities. Thus, SES influenced early reading directly and indirectly, through home literacy activities, and simultaneously, through parental beliefs, which in turn, were associated with home literacy activities that were directly associated with children's reading. The findings emphasized the multiple pathways through which SES is associated with children's reading and the need to search for other mediators of SES influence.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the status and the factors associated with death preparation of in Community-Dwelling Elderlys. This study was secondary analysis using with 2014 National Survey on the Elderly in Korea. The number of respondents were 10,281. Data were analyzed with the x2 test, t-test and multiple logistic regression using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. 37.7% of respondents had done death preparation. The factors associated with death preparation were sex(CI=1.02-1.25), age(CI=1.90-2.28), living area(CI=1.21-1.45), education level(CI=1.16-1.42), spouse status(CI=1.50-3.22), economic level(CI=1.13-1.36), limit of activity(CI=1.11-1.40), life satisfaction(economic satisfaction(CI=1.17-1.35), children relationship satisfaction(CI=1.25-1.43), friends and neighborhood relationship satisfaction(CI=1.10-1.28)). Based on these results, it is necessary to develop programs for reinforcing elder's psychological death preparation for elders in community organization. To consider elder's characteristics like gender and living area.
The purpose of this study was to examine the physical environmental readiness for smart learning and the actual utilization of smart devices by special education teachers, and to suggest ways to vitalize smart education. For this, a 14-item survey questionnaire was developed, which touched upon issues regarding the availability of wireless internet service and teachers' utilization of smart devices. An online survey was conducted among a randomly chosen sample of 991 special education teachers across the nation, including teachers who work at special schools for developmentally disabled students and in special classes at all three levels of regular schools.The collected data was analyzed with the method of a cross-time-frequency analysis using a SPSS 21.0 statistics program. The research findings indicated that both special schools and classes had a poor smart education environment and that special education teachers were having a harding time because of the lack of the infrastructure and additional expenses. In addition, special education teachers were found to use smart device mostly for the purpose of motivating students. These research findings propose that it is urgent to set up a proper smart education environment for special needs students and to provide a systematic training program for special education teachers.

The purpose of this research is to perform reading based on their levels of reading readiness for different groups of readers, to develop the Book Talk Show program which was dependent on the philosophies and emotions on reconstructed topics of the concerned books by Talk, Music, and Video Shows, enabled communal sharing of the effects of reading, to provide an evaluation tool of such applications in real readings, and to evaluate the validity and usefulness of the devised program scheme. At first, the concept of "Book Talk Shows" was established on the base of the definition of Talk, Music, and Video Shows, then the program was applied to the readers across 4 different Book Talk Shows, and examined its problems and any possible revisions. At the same time, the survey was conducted on 39 experts and professional in the field of Book Talk Show management[31 people(79.5%) provided answers to the survey) on the validity and usefulness of the devised program scheme. The Results of survey showed that 27 people(87.1% of the people who provided answers to the survey) said that these suggestions were "very valuable and useful" and 24 people from this group(88.9%) said that they would like to "apply" such program designs to their own programs. However, the vast majority of the recipients said that they would face problems of 'budget' and 'readiness' when applying such program design, and emphasized the importance of budget assurance in developing and applying future models in Book Talks Show programs.

This study aims to assess the training effect of QFD(Quality Functional Deployment) program for 3 years over startups, adopted from the conventional QFD widely used in the large companies to break up to a sluggish sales and growth, for employees working in startup whether the participants in startup and venture company taking this lessons into their real tasks or not. In particular, the focus of this study falls on figuring out whether individual characteristics of the participants play a role in moderating effect over transfer intension factors and its link path structure. The research results drive out two significant findings. First, in terms of relationship between the influence of transfer intension by self-efficacy and the validity of training content with the learner's readiness, the moderating effect of demographic features of the participants is effective partially by the sex and fully by their working position, but not statistically significant by age, education, and the prior startup career. This research deliver the following significant implication that the active participation of CEO level, decision-maker guarantee the higher performance of the training program like QFD program, more stresses falling on practical implementation in real business rather than just ending up with career training. This study gives significant policy implication to quasi-government organization running all public startup training projects.

Based on the characteristics of the weapon system, a government-funded research institute or a defense industry company is selected as the R&D supervision institution. On the other hand, research for the selection of a R&D supervision institution has not been conducted actively. This paper proposes a methodology for selecting R&D supervision institutions, such as procedure and indices. First, candidates of the index were obtained using data investigation and consulting, and five indices were deduced using Delphi. The weight of the indices was set using AHP. The high element consisted of 'Technical elements' and 'Business element'. The low element of 'Technical elements' consisted of 'Possession and readiness of critical technology' and 'Experience of similar R&D'. The low element of 'Business element' consisted of 'Base circumstance of the project', 'Risk management', and 'Will for the project'. The total weights of the indices were 'Possession and readiness of critical technology' 0.405, 'Experience of similar R&D' 0.297, 'Base circumstance of the project' 0.124, 'Risk management' 0.127, and 'Will for the project' 0.047. The indices were applied to the 00 weapon system and the result was deduced.
Purpose This paper aims to prepare a full operational readiness by establishing an optimal flight plan considering the weather conditions in order to effectively perform the mission and operation of military aircraft. This paper suggests a flight prediction model and rules by analyzing the correlation between flight implementation and cancellation according to weather conditions by using big data collected from historical flight information of military aircraft supplied by Korean manufacturers and meteorological information from the Korea Meteorological Administration. In addition, by deriving flight rules according to weather information, it was possible to discover an efficient flight schedule establishment method in consideration of weather information. Design/methodology/approach This study is an analytic study using data mining techniques based on flight historical data of 44,558 flights of military aircraft accumulated by the Republic of Korea Air Force for a total of 36 months from January 2013 to December 2015 and meteorological information provided by the Korea Meteorological Administration. Four steps were taken to develop optimal flight prediction models and to derive rules for flight implementation and cancellation. First, a total of 10 independent variables and one dependent variable were used to develop the optimal model for flight implementation according to weather condition. Second, optimal flight prediction models were derived using algorithms such as logistics regression, Adaboost, KNN, Random forest and LightGBM, which are data mining techniques. Third, we collected the opinions of military aircraft pilots who have more than 25 years experience and evaluated importance level about independent variables using Python heatmap to develop flight implementation and cancellation rules according to weather conditions. Finally, the decision tree model was constructed, and the flight rules were derived to see how the weather conditions at each airport affect the implementation and cancellation of the flight. Findings Based on historical flight information of military aircraft and weather information of flight zone. We developed flight prediction model using data mining techniques. As a result of optimal flight prediction model development for each airbase, it was confirmed that the LightGBM algorithm had the best prediction rate in terms of recall rate. Each flight rules were checked according to the weather condition, and it was confirmed that precipitation, humidity, and the total cloud had a significant effect on flight cancellation. Whereas, the effect of visibility was found to be relatively insignificant. When a flight schedule was established, the rules will provide some insight to decide flight training more systematically and effectively.

With regards to the marine spatial plannings of the world, the spaces are being managed through the integration of various uses and the establishment of systems and laws in the perspective of the utilization of spaces. In the perspective of policy establishment, the policy readiness level is applied to analyze the trends in the studies on South Korea's marine spatial plans. The scope of the study included analyzing marine spatial plan as a keyword in articles published over the period from 2010 to 2020. The methods of analysis included the analyses of the frequency of word appearance, word clouds, and appearance intensity, which were used to identify key issues. Five keywords that were related to the topics were identified, and were again used to identify the key themes. The core themes were changing in all phases, such as the principles development phase, institutionalization phase, policy verification phase. For future benefit, this requires more research in South Korean public organizations and universities.
This study aims to provide basic data for the development of teaching methods to improve the performance confidence of performing core basic nursing skills in nursing students while availing of online education owing to COVID-19. Data were collected from 146 students in the Department of Nursing at N University located in C city. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, difference, correlation analysis, and multiple regression by using SPSS 23.0 program.. The subjects' performance confidence of core basic nursing skills was dependent on self-directed learning readiness (r=.368, p<.001), intrinsic goal motivation (r=.232, p=.005), extrinsic goal motivation (r=.344, p<.001), task value (r=.237, p=<.001), control of learning beliefs (r=.262, p=<.001), and self-efficacy for learning and performance (r=.443), p<.001) with a significant positive correlation. The results indicate that the factors influencing the subjects' performance confidence of core basic nursing skills were the 4th grade (β=0.413, p<.001), extrinsic goal motivation (β=0.307, p<.001), and self-efficacy for learning and performance (β=0.316, p=.005), and the explanatory power was 35.8% (F=8.354, p<.001). The research results showed that it is necessary to develop and apply various online-centered teaching and learning methods to increase the extrinsic goal motivation and self-efficacy for learning and performance of nursing students to enhance their performance confidence of core basic nursing skills. This will serve as a basis for preparing effective online centered nursing education strategies to improve performance confidence of core basic nursing skills.
