The Influence of Logistics Information System Utilization under Ubiquitous Environment on Business Performance (유비쿼터스 추진 환경을 고려한 물류정보시스템 활용이 기업성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study set up a hypothesis that the main variables (business environment, business strategy, business policy, logistics information system) of logistics information system utilization under ubiquitous environment would contribute to business performance, and then verified the relation between each variables that have an effect on business performance. The analysis results between each main variable can be summarized as follows. First, among main variables under ubiquitous environment, business environment closely made influence on business performance. Second, business environment, business strategy, and business policy were meaningful among other variables, whereas logistics information system was not meaningful. But, it is known that corporate performance is only meaningful to business environment and business policy. In conclusion, business performance is not achieved by each variable of business strategy, business policy and logistics information system. It is recognized that business performance is influenced by business environment that combines a given condition of business strategy, business policy and logistics information system.

The Development of Evaluation Items for Each Stage of Public Informatization Projects Implementation (공공정보화사업 추진단계별 평가항목 개발)

  • 본 연구에서는 정보화사업의 성과는 직접적으로 하나의 효과만을 발생시키지 않고 다양한 단계에서 다양한 형태의 성과로 발생된다는 점에서 정보화사업의 추진단계를 사업추진 전(前) 단계(사전평가), 사업추진 진행단계(진행평가), 사업추진 완료 후 운영단계(사후평가)로 구분하고 각 단계별로 정보화사업의 성과를 측정하기 위한 정보화사업 추진단계별 평가모형을 제시하였다. 각 추진단계별 평가영역 및 평가항목의 개발은 정보화사업 평가항목에 관한 선행연구들에 대한 이론적 고찰과 국내 외 공공부문에서 실제 적용하고 있는 사례를 중심으로 도출하였으며, 특히 본 연구에서의 중점연구대상 정보화사업인 문화정보화사업을 중심으로 제시하였다. 각 단계별 평가영역 및 평가항목으로는 사전평가에서는 사업추진 계획영역의 비용산정적정도, 사업적 타당도, 전략적 타당도, 위험도분석, 추진계획적정도의 5개의 평가항목으로, 진행평가에서는 사업추진 실행영역의 사업추진효율성, 자원관리적정도, 아웃소싱관리적정도 등 3개 평가항목을 제시하였다. 또한 사후평가에서는 정보시스템 구축성과 영역의 경우 시스템품질, 정본품질, IS 서비스 품질을, 정보시스템 운영성과 영역은 시스템의 활용도와 사용자 만족도를, 조직 및 경영성과 영역은 사업적 기여도와 전략적 기여도를 각각 제시하였으며, 아울러 각 평가항목별 세부 평가항목을 함께 제안하였다.

  • The accumulation of spatial information - people, building, land and businesses- is required to make a rational decision successfully by utilizing the Spatial Decision Support Systems (SDSS). Many foreign countries have utilized the SDSS by defining the minimum unit of spatial area and implementing the spatial database based on it. Even though in Korea, National Basic Districts were created for the purpose of utilizing these districts as a basic area, they have not been utilized as a basic area of managing the spatial database due to the lack of attributes data. Therefore, the goal of this research is to suggest the strategies of building Spatial Decision Support Systems through the accumulation of the spatial data based on National Basic Districts. We propose the strategies in three different fields - legal system, database and application, services. We expect that the role of National Basic Districts w ill be strengthened by executing our strategies as a minimum spatial unit of Korea.

  • This paper is proposed that implemental model of customer relationship management system for oriental hospital is designed by customer segmentation using personal information and medical record of outpatients in existing integrated medical information system database. Proposed model can be practical model at once, because it can construct by partial modification of existing medical information system without additional information technology and infrastructure. And, if we use the proper variable and method of customer segmentation according to marketing strategy, it can be flexible customer relationship management system not only improvement of customer satisfaction but also various marketing supports.

National Information Strategies to Integrate the Dispersed Information and Knowledge Resource (국가 지식정보자원의 전략적 연계 체제 구축에 관한 고찰)

  • Given Korea does not have a competitive edge compared to developed or other competing countries in national information and knowledge resource, it is necessary to consider ways to ensure the best out of the limited resource. It is believed that Korea has to develop a national information policy which enables effective and efficient communication, management and availability of information resource within Korea. In order to ensure the strategic integration of information and knowledge resource in Korea, this research encompasses the followings: First, the needs for establishing a strategic system that helps ensure the integration of information and knowledge resource on national level are probed, Second, current status of national information and knowledge management policy is reviewed, and some problems are brought forward, Third, to resolve the problems a strategic approach to the integration of information resource according to material types and individual institution's characteristics is proposed, fur effective allocation of government budget. Ant finally, based on the findings and models proposed, a national information strategy to integrate the dispersed information resource is suggested.

  • As the market economy changes rapidly, a great number of enterprises are now preparing to introduce and construct ERP systeme to keep up their competitive power. However, for the ERP information in practical use the efficiency is very low because the range of its utilization is limited only within the enterprise that it is used In this paper, the comparisons between the existing ERP system configurations already in practice based on the client-server environments and the ERP components and platforms for applying to the internet are presented And we also show the strategic approaches for utilizing internet to strengthen the business power and to create newly added values of the increased reliability on customers by taking advantage of information on the marketing, the customers, the productive capacity. and the financial structure of enterprises in the internet environments.

  • The efficient conduct of the win-win strategic alignment in leisure industry is the one of the best way to cope with current situation. The purposes of this study are to identify the change of theme park consumers' visit intention when theme park joins with the membership program(reduced price) & Reward program of Network marketing system. From this study, it was found as follows : First, Membership progeam(reduced price) affects the change of consumer's preference to theme park.($before\;12.6\%,\;arter\;49.1\%$) Second, Network Marketing(reduced price + win-win rewards program) affects the change of consumer's preference to theme park.($before\;12.6\%,\;arter\;77\%$)

  • Electronic commerce includes the tasks that support the buying and selling of goods and services, and interactions among those tasks. Electronic commerce enables companies to close stores, reduce inventory requirements, and distribute products over the internet. Electronic commerce can simplify communication and change relationships The expanding global e-marketplace has triggered an evolution with powerful implications. The introduction of interactive media and the online environment has made real-time, customized one-to-one advertising, marketing and commerce possible. I-marketing is the most rapidly growing channel being explored today. Users of this expanding medium include a range of service providers, publishers, marketers of music, s/w, other products that cross an increasing number of industry lines. Thus, the opportunities for e-business marketing strategy, and new businesses based on interactivity and sophisticated database technology are vast. This study explores the e-business marketing strategy of digital age. Strategic e-marketing can harness the power of today's technology to propel a company of any size farther into the worldwide market than ay any other time in history, increasing potential profits and productivity.

  • Franchising is a business sector which can be enlarged to a large scale in retailing business. Franchising has expanded its realm of business into realestate business and education business, starting from hospitality business. In franchising, the management of customers is a critical issue, so many franchising companies actively implement the CRM system to improve customer relationship. Therefore, this research focuses on the intention of franchising companies about the implementation of the CRM system. The information system used for managing franchising business is defined as Franchising Information Systems(FIS). In this research, the impact of technological level, educational level and utilization strategy of FIS on the ability of FIS use were analyzed. In addition, the impact of the ability of FIS use on the intention of franchising companies about the implementation of the CRM system was analyzed. The results from the research reveal that the utilization strategy of FIS does not affect the ability of FIS use, but technological level and educational level have an effect on the ability of FIS use. The ability of FIS use has influence on the intention of franchising companies about the implementation of the CRM system.

Research on the Plans of Construction Information for National Infrastructure in Public Construction Projects (공공건설사업에서의 국가기반시설 건설정보 서비스 방안에 관한 연구)

  • The construction field is implementing cost savings and business process improvements by adopting and applying various information technologies to secure the construction sector's technological competitiveness amid the economic recessions inside and outside South Korea. Therefore, affiliated agencies of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport are reinforcing transparency and efficiency in construction project management through informatization. These agencies are also performing construction project management and maintenance and management businesses by constructing various information systems to create higher added values and secure competitiveness. However, as the application of the constructed information system is limited to a portion of public construction projects, it is not yet possible to understand the whole status of the national infrastructures. Therefore, this paper aims to propose a construction information service plan, its future promotion method and procedure of application on the entire national infrastructures. This plan would be carried out by collecting, linking and fabricating the main construction information from the information systems of the affiliated agencies around the construction project information system(Construction CALS System) being applied at the organizations under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. Such a plan is expected to facilitate effective project management and maintenance of public construction projects and serve as a useful tool for major decision making endeavors such as future policy planning. The proposed plan is also expected to facilitate the management and application of construction information from the construction up to the maintenance management of the national infrastructures.
