This study examined importance and performance of urban agriculture education program of the trainees who attended urban agriculture education, and suggested reformation of urban agriculture instructor course of Gyeonggi Provincial Agricultural Research & Extension Services by IPA models. The investigation was done on October 7, 2011. The subject was 40 trainees of urban agriculture instructor course of Gyeonggi Provincial Agricultural Research & Extension Services. The study suggested reformation of urban agriculture education program based on the findings as follow: Firstly, the instructors should teach trainees not theoretically but practically to let the trainees make use of learning at urban agriculture. Secondly, teaching material that is not theoretically but practical enough to apply it to actual urban agriculture should be supplied. Thirdly, urban agriculture education should be done not theoretically but practically considering its characteristics. Theoretical contents have been already included in teaching material, and practice oriented education should be done to let trainees put theory into practice on-the-spot. Practice oriented education should be supported in the planning future education. In addition future urban agriculture education program should consider importance as well as practice of educational contents, lecturers, operations and facilities.

Crew productivity in the construction industry is an important indicator of soundness and efficiency of work process, since all works in a site are conducted as groups of people. A survey was conducted in order to reveal importance and performance of major management factors affecting crew productivity in road bridge construction site using IPA. As a result of the analysis, it was found that 'Construction equipment' and 'Human resource related' factors among five major-categories are most important but with low performance. Furthermore, from another analysis with 27 factors of sub-categories, it is revealed that factors needed sustained attention are four, namely 'Just-in-time machinery delivery', 'Formation of a crew members', 'Skill of workers', and 'Site control and management', whereas those needed much more improvement are five, such as 'Machinery performance', 'Clearity of Design', 'Clearity of shop drawing', 'Timing of work instruction and approval', and 'Clearity of work instruction'. Findings from this study will enable road agencies as well as road construction experts to enhance crew productivity in a site.

Modular system is a construction method which installs factory-manufactured units on site. It enables to reduce the duration and improve the quality of the construction. Nevertheless, the unit modular system is restrictively applied to domestic market such as barracks, education facilities, low-rise housing. To motivate the application of unit modular system, this study figures out important attributes of the unit modular system in a domestic construction market. Finally this study suggest marketing strategies and influential factors by Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) based on those attributes focusing on the apartment housing. As a result, Unit modular System in the domestic market has strength on constructability, but it show weakness on usability and economic aspects which are more important in apartment housing market. Thus an improved technology in usability and economic aspects are required to activate the market.

Recently, with development of core technology for supertall building construction projects, the need for an improvement of the related legal system is increasing dramatically. Therefore, the supertall Buildings R&DB Center, which is funded by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime affairs (MLTM), is studying the legal system for supertall buildings. This research, as one part of the 1st year research results, aimed at studying supertall building project related issues and problems to develop supertall building elements, and conducting an importance-performance analysis (IPA) of these elements in order to conclude a strategy and direction for an improvement of the related legal system. A total of 68 supertall building elements were derived, and the IPA method was used to analyze these elements based on attribute types. Furthermore, an improvement strategy and directions were suggested for upgrading the legal system related to supertall buildings to the level of global standards. These efforts can be the base for advancing the legal systems of the domestic construction industry in all areas, including supertall building construction.

The purpose was to contribute substantially in terms of marketing strategic planning and implementation of coffee shops. Additionally, the target was set as the favorite coffee shops on the basis of the young people. Through the IPA Matrix, subdividion variable was derived and by using the variables in each quadrant, tested the variables that have significant effect on satisfaction, reuse, and recommendation intentions. The study results showed that there was a significant difference in the importance performance (IPA) difference analysis of coffee shop service quality elements and this proved that empirically, the expectations were different. Additionally, it was evident that there were statistically significant and not statistically significant elements in the relationship between service quality element and the overall satisfaction rate in each elements shown in the IPA. Through this, it was possible to provide the information on what service quality elements to focus and distribute. It was possible to understand that the ultimate goal should be satisfaction since the overall satisfaction positively affects the reuse and intention of recommendation and it was possible to re-confirm the previous studies which stated that overall satisfaction, reuse, and recommendation intentions have a positive influence.

Recently, with achieved US$ 500 Billion international cumulative construction order, the Korean government presented overseas construction industry visions for international orders of US$ 100 B and entering the top five countries in global construction market. Also, Korean companies are developing strategies for expansion of international markets especially focused on company competitiveness as a target market. Therefore, this study aims to analysis of competitiveness for the Cambodian building construction market, which presents abundant development potential. The results of IPA result were as follows; construction order information and supply chain management are needed for public tender projects and F/S, global project financing, and supplier relationship management are needed for construction investment projects. However, this work is still considered to provide the basic data that can help Korean construction companies who plan to enter the Cambodian building construction market strengthen their medium and long-term capabilities.

The purpose of this study is to survey the current awareness of local officials and to give a proposal that can establish the meaningful directions for the forest landscape policy. The data for this study was collected with questionnaires. Total 232 questionnaires were launched and valid 105 questionnaires were used for analysis. As a result of these data analysis, we found out that their awareness of the importance of forest landscape was high and they thought forest landscape plan was needed. However supply of the information and data such as guidelines to improve forest landscape condition was not enough. Through the IPA method, we had 15 properties of forest landscape policy were settled. It show us what needs to be kept up the good work, what needs to be concentrated here, what the low priority are, or what the possible overkill are. We finally suggest that direction of forest landscape management should be established based on above investigation.

This study intended to analyze pre-service elementary teachers' perceptions of teacher knowledge based on the Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework. Seventy-four pre-service elementary teachers who were enrolled at an University of Education located in mid-continent of Korea participated in a survey. Results of the survey was analyzed using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method. It was found that perception of importance was significantly higher than that of performance at all seven domains of the TPACK. IPA matrix extracted from the survey indicates that Technological Content Knowledge (TCK), Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), and TPACK which are related to technology especially need to develop. Results of this study also show the necessity to support pre-service teachers so that they can have opportunities to develop and use technology-related knowledge and skills. This study especially implies that technological knowledge needs to be integrated with content and pedagogical knowledge when implementing curriculum and educational programs for pre-servie elementary teachers.

The purpose of this study is to derive priority improvement items through business expansion and efficient implementation for green remodeling business operator in order to enhance the activating of green remodeling business in a long-term perspective. For this purpose, survey of 128 business operator respondent is conducted based on 13 items. Also, priority improvements items were derived based on the results of the survey by using IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) techniques. As a result, In order to revitalize the green remodeling, it is necessary to induce market participation motivation through monetary profit. Additionally, The management of green remodeling business operator and the opinions of owners should be reviewed. In the future, the items that reflect the views of business operator and owners will be investigated and further research on improvements for expanding green remodeling 'interest subsidies on existing private buildings will be conducted.

This study compares the results of two Importance-Performance Analyses (IPA) on the convention destination images in Korea by meeting and exhibition planners. Meeting and convention planners carefully evaluate convention destinations by considering meeting room facilities, hotel service quality, safety/security, air transportation access and hotel room availability as the most important attributes of a convention destination. On the other hand, night life, exhibition facilities, scenery/sightseeing opportunities, food and lodging costs and restaurant facilities are considered as the least important attributes of a convention destination. The study revealed that convention destination attributes ranking is dynamic and continuous evaluation should be done to determine the current perception of the meeting and exhibition planners. Meeting and exhibition planners' importance grid of the convention attributes is dynamic and changed with the environment and needs of their clientele. In this study it was noted that the ranking for some attributes has dramatically changed.
