Let $Q_{n+p-1}(\alpha)$ denote the- dass of functions $$f(z)=z^{P}-\sum_{n=0}^\infty{a_{(p+k)}z^{p+k}$$ ($a_{p+k}{\geq}0$, $p{\in}N=\left{1,2,{\cdots}\right}$) which are analytic and p-valent in the unit disc $U=\left{z:{\mid}z:{\mid}<1\right}$ and satisfying $Re\left{\frac{D^{n+p-1}f(\approx))^{\prime}}{pz^{p-a}\right}>{\alpha},0{\leq}{\alpha}<1,n>-p,z{\in}U.$ In this paper we obtain sharp results concerning coefficient estimates, distortion theorem, closure theorems and radii of p-valent close-to- convexity, starlikeness and convexity for the class $Q_{n+p-1}$ ($\alpha$). We also obtain class preserving integral operators of the form $F(z)=\frac{c+p}{z^{c}}\int_{o}^{z}t^{c-1}f(t)dt.$ c>-p $F\left(z\right)=\frac{c+p}{z^{c}}\int_{0}^{z} t^{c-1}f\left(t \right)dt. \qquad c>-p$ for the class $Q_{n+p-1}$ ($\alpha$). Conversely when $F(z){\in}Q_{n+p-1}(\alpha)$, radius of p-valence of f(z) has been determined.

This paper describes a selection and application recommendations of ZnO arresters on DC electric traction vehicles. We measured and analyzed the system voltages applied to arresters and the surge currents flowing arresters on DC electric traction vehicles under operation to decide the Continuous Operating Voltage($U_C$), the Rated Voltage($U_R$), and the Nominal Discharge Current($I_n$). System voltages measured up to 1,800 V during anti-breaking in 1,500 V-system, and surge currents were recorded up to 3 times per running-service-route and their magnitudes were ranges of $150A{\sim}2kA$. From these results and the standard EN50163, we proposed the Continuous Operating Voltage($U_C$) the Rated Voltage($U_R$) for the $1,500V_{dc}$ electric traction vehicles.

Let $[n]=\{1,2,{\ldots},n\}$. A set ${\mathbf{A}}=\{A_1,A_2,{\ldots},A_l\}$ is a minimal cover of [n] if ${\cup}_{1{\leq}i{\leq}l}A_i=[n]$ and $$\bigcup_{{1{\leq}i{\leq}l,}\\{i{\neq}j_0}}A_i{\neq}[n]\text{ for all }j_0{\in}[l]$$. Let ${\mathcal{C}}(n)$ denote the collection of all minimal covers of [n], and write $C_n={\mid}{\mathcal{C}}(n){\mid}$. Let ${\mathbf{A}}{\in}{\mathcal{C}}(n)$. An element $u{\in}[n]$ is critical in ${\mathbf{A}}$ if it appears exactly once in ${\mathbf{A}}$. Two minimal covers ${\mathbf{A}},{\mathbf{B}}{\in}{\mathcal{C}}(n)$ are said to be restricted t-intersecting if they share at least t sets each containing an element which is critical in both ${\mathbf{A}}$ and ${\mathbf{B}}$. A family ${\mathcal{A}}{\subseteq}{\mathcal{C}}(n)$ is said to be restricted t-intersecting if every pair of distinct elements in ${\mathcal{A}}$ are restricted t-intersecting. In this paper, we prove that there exists a constant $n_0=n_0(t)$ depending on t, such that for all $n{\geq}n_0$, if ${\mathcal{A}}{\subseteq}{\mathcal{C}}(n)$ is restricted t-intersecting, then ${\mid}{\mathcal{A}}{\mid}{\leq}{\mathcal{C}}_{n-t}$. Moreover, the bound is attained if and only if ${\mathcal{A}}$ is isomorphic to the family ${\mathcal{D}}_0(t)$ consisting of all minimal covers which contain the singleton parts $\{1\},{\ldots},\{t\}$. A similar result also holds for restricted r-cross intersecting families of minimal covers.

The hermitian structures on complex manifolds have been studied by several mathematicians ([1], [2], and [3]), and the Kähler structure on hermitian manifolds have been so much too ([6], [12], and [15]). There has been some gradual progress in studying the invariant forms on Grassmann manifolds ([17]). The purpose of this dissertation is to prove the Theorem 3.4 and the Theorem 4.7, with relation to the nature of complex Grassmann manifolds. In $\S$ 2. in order to prove the Theorem 4.7, which will be explicated further in $\S$ 4, the concepts of the hermitian structure, connection and curvature have been defined. and the characteristic nature about these were proved. (Proposition 2.3, 2.4, 2.9, 2.11, and 2.12) Two characteristics were proved in $\S$ 3. They are almost not proved before: particularly. we proved the Theorem 3.3 : $G_{k}(C^{n+k})=\frac{GL(n+k,C)}{GL(k,n,C)}=\frac{U(n+k)}{U(k){\times}U(n)}$ In $\S$ 4. we explained and proved the Theorem 4. 7 : i) Complex Grassmann manifolds are Kahlerian. ii) This Kähler form is $\pi$-fold of curvature form in hyperplane section bundle. Prior to this proof. some propositions and lemmas were proved at the same time. (Proposition 4.2, Lemma 4.3, Corollary 4.4 and Lemma 4.5).

In this thesis, we propose the test statistic for ordered alternatives on c-sample ranked set samples(RSS). The proposed test statistic JRSS is Jonckheere type statistic using the median of the i-th samples in each cycle. We obtained the asymptotic property of the proposed test statistic and the asymptotic relative efficiencies of the proposed test statistic with respect to J SRS which Jonckheere type statistic on simple random samples(SRS). From the simulation works, J RSS is superior to J SRS. We compared the empirical powers of J RSS with respect to U RSS on ranked set sample and U SRS on simple random sample using all samples, which are proposed by Kim, Kim and Lee(1999). The powers of J RSS are nearly the same values when entire sample size is large. J RSS is superior to U RSS. J RSS is simpler than U RSSon calculating process.

The aim of the present paper is to introduce the concept "Finite dimension" in the theory of associative rings R with respect to two sided ideals. We obtain that if R has finite dimension on two sided ideals, then there exist uniform ideals $U_1,U_2,\ldots,U_n$ of R whose sum is direct and essential in R. The number n is independent of the choice of the uniform ideals $U_i$ and 'n' is called the dimension of R.

The Residual stress is stress at the inside of materials after plastic deformation. Certainly, this residual stress have an effect on fatigue life. Therefore, it is very important that understanding residual stress at the inside of materials. But in case of U-shaped Pipe that it is dealt with a mailer in this paper, distribution of residual stress is very complicated and exactly become unknown caused by difficulty of measurement. Then, in this paper, we are evaluated residual stress at in the inside of materials by finite clement method program and verified validity by test.

Cholescintigraphic studies with $^{99m}Tc-HIDA$(dimethyl iminodiacetic acid) were performed in 22 cases of normal subjects, 21 of acute cholecystitis, 12 of chronic cholecystitis and 12 others, with the results of, 1) In normal control group, liver and intrahepatic biliary tree, CBD and gall bladder, and G-I tract appeared at 10, 20 and 30 minutes after intravenous injection of $^{99m}Tc-HIDA$ respectively, 2) In acute cholecystitis, 20 among 21 cases showed non-visualization of gall bladder with the diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of 93.2%, 95.2% and 100% respectively. 3) In chronic cholecystitis, 5 among 12 cases showed non-visualization of gall bladder and remained 7 among 12 cases showed poor contraction of gall bladder (4), delayed visualization of gall bladder (1) and normal findings (2). 4) In the other disease group, the 12 cases which initially suspected as acute cholecystitis, revealed normal scan findings to exclude the cystic duct obstruction easily, With the above results, this scintigraphic procedure was found very rapid, accurate and easily available method for the determining of the cystic duct patency.
