차세대 원전 신고리 #3, 4호기는 KHNP(Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.)가 개발한 APR1400(Advanced Power Reactor 1400 [MWe])을 적용하는 최초의 원자력 발전소이다. I&C(Instrumentation and Control)시스템이 디지털 표준 플랫폼으로 설계되었다[2].

  • This paper deals with the design and implementation of an interface for interoperation between DiskSim, a well-known disk simulator, and a system-level simulator based on DEVSim++. Such inter-operational simulation aims at evaluation of an overall performance of storage systems which consist of multiple computer nodes with a variety of I/O level specifications. A well-known system-level simulation framework, DEVSim++ environment is based on the DEVS formalism, which provides a sound semantics of modular and hierarchical modeling methodology at the discrete event systems level such as multi-node computer systems. For maintainability we assume that there is no change of the source codes for two heterogeneous simulation engines. Thus, we adopt a notion of simulators interoperation in which there should be a means to synchronize simulation times as well as to exchange messages between simulators. As an interface for such interoperation DiskSimManager is designed and implemented. Various experiments, comparing the results of the standalone DiskSim simulation and the interoperation simulation using the proposed interface of DiskSimManager, proved that DiskSimManager works correctly as an interface for interoperation between DEVSim++ and DiskSim.

  • Logic automated stimulus and response (LASAR) software is an automatic test program development tool for logic function test and fault detection of avionics components digital circuit cards. LASAR software needs to the information for the logic circuit function and input and output of the device. If there is no component information, normal component modeling is impossible. In this paper, component modeling is carried out through reverse design of programmable logic device (PLD) device without element information. The developed LASAR program identified failure detection rates through fault simulation results and single-seated fault insertion methods. Fault detection rates have risen by 3% to 91% for existing limited modeling and 94% for modeling through the reverse design. Also, the 22 case of stuck fault with the I/O pin of EP310 PLD were detected 100% to confirm the good performance.

  • High-speed/precision servomechanisms have been widely used in the manufacturing and semiconductor industries. In order to ensure the required high-speed and high-precision specifications in servomechanisms, an integrated design methodology is required, where the interactions between mechanical and electrical subsystems will have to be considered simultaneously. For the first step of the integrated design process, it is necessary to obtain not only strict mathematical models of separate subsystems but also formulation of an integrated design problem. A two-degree-of-freedom controller described in the discrete-time domain is considered as an electrical subsystem in this paper. An accurate identification process of the mechanical subsystem is conducted to verify the obtained mathematical model. Mechanical and electrical constraints render the integrated design problem accurate. Analysis of the system performance according to design and operating parameters is conducted for better understanding of the dynamic behavior and interactions of the servomechanism. Experiments are performed to verify the validity of the integrated design problem in the x-Y positioning system.

  • The paper is concerned with the pre-arcing behavior of rapid current limiting fuselink using copper as a melting element. The phenomenon is faced by a numerical simulation(especially, FDM is applicated) of the melting element. Through the results, we can know the trends of the I-t characteristics and temperature distribution along the x axis for different fuselink shapes with circular, rectangular, and skew restriction type respectively, to be good for designing the optimal element.

  • Two-phase neuro-system identification method is presented. The 1$^{st}$-phase identification uses conventional neural network mapping for modeling an input-output system. The 2$^{nd}$ -phase modeling is also performed sequentially using the 1$^{st}$-phase modeling errors. In the 2$^{nd}$ a phase modeling, newly generated input signals, which are obtained by summing the 1st-phase modeling error and artificially generated uniform series, are utilized as system's I-O mapping elements. The 1$^{st}$-phase identification is interpreted as a “Real Model” system identification because it uses system's real data(i.e., observations and control inputs) while the 2$^{nd}$ -phase identification as a “Artificial Model” identification because of using artificial data. Experimental results are given to verify that the two-phase neuro-system identification could reduce the overall modeling errors.rrors.

  • This paper describes and explains that the engagement level model of submarine can be used in underwater engagement simulation taking reuse, interoperability, and extension to the engineering leveled simulation into consideration. WBS(Work Break-down Structure), internal data interface, and I/O data about the engagement level model of submarine are developed. It describes the modeling method of components of submarine model as well. In this paper, the non-acoustic detection and stealth models are excluded because those models are not related to the underwater engagement, so the excluded models need to be developed in the future.
