As device dimensions shrink, it is increasingly important to develop fabrication methods that can create sub-15 nm features of regular or arbitrary geometry in a rapid, parallel, and efficient process. This talk will discuss approaches based on self-assembling hybrid polymers containing Si. The thin films of those materials systems can generate well-ordered periodic arrays of dots or lines. For achieving, long-range ordering, it is helpful to use lithographically-defined templates, which are in general much larger than the length-scale of self-assembled nanostructures. For example, the self-assembly of polymer nanostructures can easily be templated using an array of nanoscale topographical elements that act as guiding templates or surrogates for one of two microdomains. The solvent-vapor-induced tunability of pattern dimension and morphology will be discussed as well. Those material systems can excellently serve for high-precision self-assembly that can provide good resolution, reliability, and controllability and be considered as an option for a future nanomanufacturing technology.

주문형 비디오 시스템에서 비디오 서버의 입출력 대역폭은 지연 시간을 증가시키는 원인이 되는 중요한 자원이다. 공유를 통하여 비디오 서버의 입출력 요청을 감소시키는 다수의 방법들: 일괄처리, 브리징, 피기백킹이 제안되었다. 일괄처리는 같은 객체에 대한 요청들을 묶어서, 기억장치 서버에 대한 하나의 입출력 요청을 만드는 것이고, 피기백킹은 객체의 대응하는 입.출력 스트림들을 그룹으로 서비스할 수 있는 하나의 스트림으로 병합하기 위하여 진행중인 요청들의 디스플레이 율을 변경하는 정책이다. 본 논문에서는 인기 있는 비디오에 대한 요청들이 가능한 한 스케줄 될 수 있도록 비디오 서버의 입출력 스트림 용량을 예약해 두고 상반관계에 있는 두요소: 스트림 요청의 지연시간과 입출력 요청의 감소를 적절히 절충한 하이브리드 장치 대역폭 감소 정책을 제안하고, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안하는 정책의 성능을 평가한다.

A wavelength-selective reflector, composed of a double-ring-resonator add/drop filter and a loop-back mirror at the drop port to be used for a hybrid-integrated tunable laser is designed and fabricated. High-index-contrast polymer waveguide is used to realize a compact device as small as $2mm{\times}0.4mm$. The radii of the rings are slightly different from each other to obtain a wide wavelength tuning via a vernier effect. Peak reflectivity is measured to be 52% for TE mode and polarization-dependent wavelength shift is 0.95 nm. The tuning range is measured to be about 42 nm for applied current as small as 46 mA.

In order to raise productivity of the OLED and realization of the OLED TV, the enlargement of the mother glass substrate is required. The large-size glass substrate has some difficulties regarding its deflection during handling operation due to its thin thickness (0.5$\sim$0.7t) which is not even enough to stand its mass itself. This paper is demonstrating a new solution of this difficult through clamping and bending boundary condition, which helps to minimize the deflection of the glass substrate. Based on the developed method, the experiments had been done for verifying the proposed method to minimize the glass-deflection. With the developed method, the new design of glass substrate handler can be proposed to allow the large OLED displays be manufactured.

Focusing on the drastic increase of smart devices, machine generated data expansion is a general phenomenon in network services and IoT (Internet of Things). Especially, built-in multi sensors in a smart device are used for collection of user status and moving data. Combining the internal sensor data and environmental information, we can determine landmarks that decide a pedestrian's locations. We use an ANOVA method to analyze data acquired from multi sensors and propose a landmark classification algorithm. We expect that the proposed algorithm can achieve higher accuracy of indoor-outdoor positioning system for pedestrians.

네트워크 통신을 이용한 원격 관리 응용프로그램, 스마트폰 애플리케이션, 웹 브라우저 기반의 그룹웨어 기능을 통해 실습실 자원을 효율적으로 관리하고자 한다. 소규모 그룹을 목적으로 개발하며 OSMD(One Source Multi DeviceO)를 통하여 실시간으로 접근이 가능하여 효율적으로 관리 할 수 있도록 한다.

We demonstrate a hybrid device with high ambien t-contrast-ratio (>133.8:1) under any ambient co nditions by vertically integrating a reflective LCD and a transparent OLED. The twisted nematic LC cell is placed beneath the OLED to improve dev ice transmittance by 53.8% due to the asymmet ric emission from both-sides of the transparent OLED.

Hybrid type LPM can be widely applied in the precise position controlled devic because precise linear motion can be directly obtained by the simple control circuit without backlash in the rotary-type stepping motor. Also, LPM can increase the Position resolution, which was limited by mechanical manufacturing limit and characteristic of magnetic material. using micro-step drive method to decrease the noise and vibration further. Especially, Double-side LPM may be replaced the solenoid as the valve driving device without difficulty and give full play to control the valve accurately. Hence, In this paper, magnetic circuit of double-side LPM was confirmed and static thrust force curve according to the relative displacement between stator and mover, was analyzed by the two dimensional finite element method. From this results, we can suppose the excitation current to be controlled optimally.

최근 자성박막과 이를 이용해 전자의 스핀을 제어할 수 있게 되면서, 이를 이용한 자기미세소자에 대해 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 그 중 자성 다층박막과 자성 터널 접합에 대한 연구가 많이 행해지고 있는데, Co/cu 다층박막으로 제조한 소자는 상온에서도 65%를 넘는 큰 자기저항비를 보여주고 있다[1]. 또 다른 자기전자소자로 스핀 밸브 트랜지스터(SVT)가 있다[2]. 스핀 밸브 트랜지스터는 두 반도체 기판 사이에 금속 박막을 다층으로 삽입된 구조로 구성되어있다. (중략)

디지털 콘텐츠의 급속한 보급과 더불어 휴대용 단말기를 이용한 eBook 관련 콘텐츠의 개발이 점증하고 있는 추세에 유통 다변화를 통한 보급 확대를 위해 스마트 TV를 통한 VOD 방송콘텐츠와 연동하여 전자책을 사용자에게 즉시로 제공할 수 있는 시스템이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 스마트 TV 방송콘텐츠를 기반으로 한 eBook 콘텐츠의 VOD 서비스를 하이브리드형으로 휴대 스마트 기기에 제공하기 위한 효과적인 시스템의 구성과 DRM 전략을 위한 프레임워크를 제시하고 프로토타입 시스템을 제안한다.
