매개변수 가진력을 받아 비행하는 구조물의 동적 모델링 및 안정성 해석 (Dynamic Modeling and Stability Analysis of a Flying Structure undertaking Parametric Excitation Forces)

  • Dynamic stability of a flying structure undertaking constnat and pulsating thrust force is investigated in this paper. The equations of motion of the structure, which is idealized as a free-free beam, are derived by using the hybrid variable method and the assumed mode method. The structural system includes a directional control unit to obtain the directional stability. Unstable regions due to periodically pulsating thrust forces are obtained by using the Floquet's theory. Stability diagrams are presented to illustrate the influence of the constant force, the location of gimbal, and the frequency of pulsating force. The validity of the diagrams are confirmed by direct numerical simulations of the dynamic system.

  • In this study, three-dimensional rotordynamic analyses have been conducted using equivalent beam, hybrid and fun three-dimensional models. The Present computational method is based on the general finite element method with rotating gyroscopic effects of a rotor system. General purpose commercial finite element code, SAMCEF which includes practical rotordynamics module with various types of rotor analysis methods and bearing elements is applied. For the purpose of numerical verification, comparison study for a benchmark rotor model with support bearings is performed first. Detailed finite element models based on three different modeling concepts are constructed and then computational analyses are conducted for the realistic and complex three-dimensional rotor system. The results for rotor stability and mass unbalance response are presented and compared with the experimental vibration test conducted in this study.

  • This paper considers the optimum design of flexbeam cross-sections for a full-scale bearingless helicopter rotor, using an efficient hybrid optimization algorithm based on particle swarm optimization, and an improved genetic algorithm, with an effective constraint handling scheme for constrained nonlinear optimization. The basic operators of the genetic algorithm, of crossover and mutation, are revisited, and a new rank-based multi-parent crossover operator is utilized. The rank-based crossover operator simultaneously enhances both the local, and the global exploration. The benchmark results demonstrate remarkable improvements, in terms of efficiency and robustness, as compared to other state-of-the-art algorithms. The developed algorithm is adopted for two baseline flexbeam section designs, and optimum cross-section configurations are obtained with less function evaluations, and less computation time.

  • In this paper the vibration system is consisted of a rotating cantilever pipe conveying fluid and a tip mass. The equation of motion is derived applying a modeling method that employs hybrid deformation variables. 'TI1e influences of the rotating angular velocity, mass ratio and the velocity of fluid flow on the stability of a cantilever pipe are studied by the numerical method. The effect of tip mass on the stability of a rotating cantilever pipe are also studied. The influences of a tip mass, the velocity of fluid the angular velocity of a cantilever pipe and the coupling of these factors on the stability of a cantilever pipe are analytically clarified.

  • The major object of this paper is to propose a nonlinear finite element analysis(FEA) technique of steel coupling beams-wall connections governed panel shear failure using ABAQUS. Detailed finite element models are created by studying the monotonic load response of the designed steel coupling beams-wall connections. The developed models account for the effect of material inelasticity, concrete cracking, panel shear failure and geometric nonlinearity. In order to verify the proposed FEA model, this study attended experiment considered parameters to the steel beam : face bearing plates, and horizontal ties. And the analytical result attended by the proposed FEA model validated through comparisons with the experimental results. Finally, the study estimated the analytical values compared with ASCE Design Guidelines. At this time, the analysis showed good agreement between the theoretical and experimental results.

  • Welding technology plays an important role in the fabrication of structure, and this has led to an increasing attention in the use of high quality advanced welding technology such as power beam welding, friction stir welding, and laser-arc hybrid welding, etc. At the same time, welding can influence various factors in the performance of plant and equipment, and corrosion behaviour of weldment has been one of the major issues for both welding and corrosion research engineers. The aim of this paper is to give a short survey of the recent technical trends of welding and corrosion behaviours including the electrochemical corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion fatigue in connection with the welding materials, welding process, and welding fabrication.

  • Laboratory tests are conducted to validate the mechanical model of a filament-wound composite shaft. Also, design charts are produced by validated analytical calculations based on the Timoshenko beam model of a layered steel/composite structure. The major results found are that steel/composite hybrid shafts can lead to better dynamic and static performances over steel or pure composite shafts of the same volume, and the most effective composite structures contain some steel in the form of a tubular core. These results can be used in the design process of composite boring bars and automotive drive shafts.

  • 체적홀로그램의 저장용량을 향상시키기 위해서 여러 가지 다중화 기법이 제안되고 있는 가운데, 본 논문에서는 각다중화와 공간다중화를 병행한 복합 다중화 시스템을 구현하였다. 기준파의 각도 및 공간상의 위치를 변화시키는 방법으로 스텝 모터를 사용하여 다중 홀로그램을 기록할 수 있었다. 기록 시간 스케줄에 의하여 노출 시간을 조절하므로써 기준파와 물체파 간의 간섭 패턴을 홀로그램에 기록하였다. 3층 300개의 영상을 한 개의 LiNbO₃ :Fe에 기록하였으며 실험 결과를 보였다.

  • The rare-earth ions (R3+, R=Nd, Er) doped CaF2 layers have been grown on CaF2(111) substrate by molecular beam epitaxy. The epitaxial relationship and the crystallinity of CaF2:R3+ layers depending on the concentration of R3+ were studied by reflection high-energy electron diffraction (RHEED). In aspect of application as buffer layer in semiconductor-related hybrid structure, the lattice displacement between CaF2:R3+ layers and CaF2(111) substrate was investigated by X-ray rocking curve analysis.

  • 본 논문에서는 일반적으로 축방향 변위에 대한 모우드만을 가지고 있는 경우의 합성을 위해 축방향 변위 모우드의 커브-피팅을 이용하여 기울기 정보를 얻고 모델링된 요소의 연결부에 부여함으로써, 변위 정보만을 사용하는 방법보다 좀 더 정확한 고유값을 얻을 수 있음을 보이고자 한다.
