This study has been done in order to examine elementary school pupil's knowledge and attitudes on sex. The subjects of the study were 1904 elementary school pupils in the 5th and 6th grade of three elementary schools in Kyonggi-do, Korea. A guide book for the teachers on sexual education published by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources has been used as the tool for the study. Data analysis has been performed by using SPSS Win(l0.0) with mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test(ANOVA), and Pearson's Correlation. The results show that the human relationship area showed the highest, next were physical development, sexual culture and sexual ethics, and the last were sex health and sexual psychology. The Pearson's correlation between each area of knowledge and attitude on sex show a significant correlation statistically in the level of p＜.001 in all areas. When examined individually the highest correlation was demonstrated between physical development and sexual health and human relationship by r＝.573, while it demonstrated only r＝.265 the lowest between sexual ethics and physical development.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the rate of human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccinations among 12-year-old daughters and to analyze factors influencing the mothers' decisions to vaccinate their daughters. Methods: A cross sectional descriptive study was conducted using a convenience sample of 139 mothers. Data was analyzed using SPSS WIN 23.0. Descriptive statistics and a logistic regression analysis were conducted. Results: The vaccination rate of HPV among children was 43.9%. Mothers showed a higher knowledge of the HPV vaccination than of cervical cancer and of human papilloma virus. In self-efficacy scores, the subscores of self-regulation efficacy were higher than self-confidence and task difficulty preference. The factors influencing the vaccination of daughters included the age of the daughters at the time of the vaccination, the provision of information on the HPV vaccine, knowledge of the HPV vaccination, and self-confidence. Conclusion: In order to increase the HPV vaccination rate, it is necessary to provide accurate scientific knowledge to mothers. A variety of intervention strategies should be developed to enhance the confidence of mothers so that mothers who want to provide the HPV vaccination to their daughters are able to follow through and provide the vaccination.

Greeting the 100 year celebration of the death of Master Dong-mu, through investigating his thoght on Scholarship and Philosophy, and his new view of human being based on Sasang, I tried to reevaluate him as a Confucianist of practical mind. The conclusions were as followings ; 1. Dong-mu's recognition system of things is that based on the mind of summarizing things in view of Affair-Mind-Body-Object originated from Confucianism, and It developed 'the Marvel of Easiness & simpleness based on Yin-yang' into 'the Marvel of Easiness & simpleness based on Sasang' 2 Through understanding old Confucianism newly, Dong-mu summarized human being as having a natural character in view of Nature and Order and an autonomical character in view of Knowledge and Deed, and emphasized an autonomical character in view of Knowledge and Deed 3. In view of Knowledge and Deed, Dong-mu presented How to Say and Behave, and took it as a model of behavior in the new Confucianism. Also he presented the view of Knowledge and Deed based on Constitutions, and took it as a new mind of treatment. 4. Dong-mu can be estimated highly, in that he completed a new confucian view-point of Human being in the period of philosophic chaos, and executed the mind of General health maintenance and the mind of control others through a confucian self-control.

Knowledge of health and community psychology in health professionals influences psychosocial and community determinants of health and promoting participation in disease prevention at the community level. This paper appraises the potential of knowledge on psychology in health care professionals and its contribution to community empowerment through individual behavior change and health practice. The authors proposed a schematic model for the use of psychological knowledge in health professionals to promote participation in health interventions/disease prevention programs in developing countries. By implication, the paper provides a vision on policies towards supporting breast cancer secondary prevention efforts for community health development in Asian countries.

본 논문에서는 한국전자통신 연구원 지식정보 연구부에서 제안하는 자연어 정보처리 기술 표준안을 적용하여 품사 부착 말뭉치를 구축하는 과정에서 논란의 여지가 있었던 대표적인 사항들에 대해 기술한다. 아울러 ETRI 표준안이 도출된 원칙과 취지 등을 품사 부착 말뭉치 구축과 관련하여 설명하고, 현재의 ETRI 표준안이 앞으로 어떤 식으로 개선되어야 할 지에 대해 제안한다.

The purpose of this study was to identify common and domain-specific cognitive characteristics of gifted students based on a hierarchical structural model of human abilities. This study is based on the premise that abilities identified by tests can appear as observable characteristics in test or school situations. Abilities proposed by major models of intelligence were reviewed in terms of their power to explain cognitive characteristics of gifted students. However, due to the lack of their explanatory power and disagreement on common and domain-specific cognitive abilities, a new hierarchical structural model was conceptualized in a unique way based on interrelationships between abilities proposed by the models. The newly established model hypothesizes a cognitive mechanism that accounts for how domain-specific knowledge is formed, as well as which abilities are common and domain-specific, how they are related functionally, and how they account for common and domain-specific cognitive characteristics of gifted students. The cognitive mechanism has important implications for our understanding of the chronically controversial concepts, 'intelligence' and 'knowledge.' Clearer definitions of what intelligence is (g or multiple), what knowledge is, and how knowledge develops ('genetic or environmental,' 'rationalistic or empiricist') may result from this model.

교차언어 검색 과정에서는 질의나 문서의 언어를 일치시키기 위한 변환 과정이 필수적이며, 이런 변환 과정에서 어휘의 중의성으로 인해 하나의 어휘에 대응하는 다수의 대역어가 생성됨으로써 사용자의 정보 욕구를 왜곡시켜 검색의 성능을 저하시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 어휘 중의성 문제를 해결하기 위해서 질의의 문맥 정보를 이용하여 변환 질의의 확률을 구함으로써 중의성을 해소하는 방식을 제시하고, 질의의 길이, 중의도, 중의성을 가진 어휘의 비율 등에 따라서 성능이 어떻게 변하는지 비교함으로써 이 방법의 장점과 단점을 분석한다. 또한 현재의 단점을 보완하기 위한 차후 연구 방향을 제시한다.

시맨틱 웹 기술의 주축을 이루는 온톨로지의 구축시에 인스턴스를 생성하기 위하여 대상 문서를 구성하는 자연어 문장을 텍스트 마이닝 기술을 이용하여 트리플을 추출한다. 인스턴스를 생성할 때 보다 많은 정보를 추출하기 위해서 문장에 나타나는 상호참조 해결이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 문서에서 많이 나타나는 명사구로 이루어진 대용어를 해석하기 위하여 언어 분석된 다양한 결과 정보를 이용한다. 본 연구에서는 계층적인 의미구조와 청킹을 이용한 규칙기반의 상호참조 해결 방법을 제안하고 실험을 통해 알고리즘의 정확도를 제시한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of knowledge-based resource and ambidextrous capability on their export performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Drawing on an extensive review of the literature on Knowledge-based resource and ambidextrous capability, hypotheses are developed and tested using a sample of 284 SMEs in South Korea. Structural equation modeling was applied. As a result of analysis, first, international entrepreneurship has a significant effect on ambidextrous capability. Second, human capital has significant influence on ambidextrous capability. Third, ambidextrous capability has a significant effect on export performance. The results indicate that their knowledge-based resources ware significant driver of their ambidextrous capability. and that their ambidextrous capability was significant driver of their export performance. In the final conclusion section, implications and limitations of research results and suggestions for future research are discussed.

In this study, we identified the various mechanisms through which entrepreneurial orientation impacts firm performance. We proposed that entrepreneurial orientation assists organizations in building cultural, structural, human and technical knowledge capabilities, which in turn lead to sustainable competitive advantage. We tested our proposed hypothesis using data collected from 76 managers of small entrepreneurial firms. We found that cultural knowledge capabilities are the strongest mediators of entrepreneurial orientation and firm performance relationship. By bringing in knowledge capabilities in the literature of entrepreneurial orientation, we open new directions for research. Our findings have implications for theory as well as practice.
