To date, the development of anticancer drugs has been conducted using two-dimensional (2D) cell culture systems. However, since cancer cells in the body are generated and developed in three-dimensional (3D) microenvironments, the use of 2D anticancer drug screening can make it difficult to accurately evaluate the anticancer effects of drug candidates. Therefore, as a step towards developing a cancer cell-friendly 3D microenvironment based on a combination of vinylsulfone-functionalized polyethylene glycol (PEG-VS) with dicysteine-containing crosslinker peptides with an intervening matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-specific cleavage site, the types of MMPs secreted from human hepatocarcinoma HepG2 cells, a representative cancer cell, were analyzed transcriptionally and translationally. MMP3 was confirmed to be the most highly expressed protease secreted by HepG2 cells. This knowledge will be important in the design of a crosslinker necessary for the construction of PEG-based hydrogels customized for the 3D culture of HepG2 cells.

The study on plane composition in clothing was focused mainly on woven wear earlier but its application has been reaching the knit wear. This study is confined to the utilization with geometrical linear pattern in the modern apparel. The work here intends to grasp the plane structure found in both woven wear and knit wear and, in particular, to understand the aesthetics of fashion. The modern flat patterned clothing has been affected by the oriental style or postmodernism in view of social and cultural aspect while its fabric material and expression method shows the diversity in terms of industrial and technical aspect. It can be characterized as several outstanding patterns: the geometrical pattern in structure, the linear pattern with seam line and 2-dimensional plane pattern without seam line, and the flexible silhouette integrated into one single shape with human body unlike the traditional apparel The aesthetics of fashion in modern flat patterned clothing can be divided into such category as the organically spatial change, the re-creation of tradition and the non-format framework. The organically spatial change shows the geometrical formation in clothes due to change in dimension, where the organically changing uniformity and generosity appears as the dimension progresses. The timeless without any difference of up and down, left and right, and inside and outside and the discontinuity due to limitless spatial change are also imbedded. The re-creation of tradition tells the reshaped spirits of old tradition by integrating and modifying the hereditary features in the old customed clothing into modern clothing. The modern flat patterned clothing implies the contemporaneousness or the frame through which the old and modern cultures may be shared and indicates the re-creation of the past and uniformity. The non-format framework contains the uncertainty in meaning and it doesn't have any certain standards. As both the apparel and the human body with this style aim at the open space, the numerous contingencies are realized.

This study aims to configure what dimensions make up for smart phone after service quality, and how this service quality affects customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Smart phone market is a market of the device leading the digital convergence as well as positioning itself as one of the national growth driving industry. To survive in this matured market, companies should have to respond actively to radical changes and customers needs in the so-called Smart Revolution environment. Lately, however, the smart phone market is prospected to move from growth phase to mature phase by the scholars. In order to proactively respond to the change in such market condition, companies need to provide absolute advantage in customer loyalty over their competitors by revolutionizing the after-sales service quality. Qualified A/S will lead to service satisfaction and achieve customer loyalty. The empirical analysis results obtained through A/S quality are as follows : First, human quality (attitude, expertise, problem-solvability), environment quality (handling agility, convenience, comfort), service policy quality (quality guarantee, additional service operation) are dimensions that make up for A/S quality. Second, A/S quality dimension showed a significant positive influence on service satisfaction and A/S satisfaction showed a positive influence on customer loyalty as well. Based on this empirical study, we propose some implications for A/S quality improvement. First, human quality dimension has relatively higher influence on A/S satisfaction in case of free A/S, so companies need to solve the product problem completely when consumer's first visit by continual employee education. Second, in case of paid A/S, the service policy quality-especially A/S Warranty period- has higher influence on A/S satisfaction.

현대의 인간은 시간과 공간에 상관없이 정보기기를 이용하여 네트워크에 접근할 수 있는 환경에 노출되어 있다. 이러한 환경에서 사용자들은 다수의 온라인 정보 기기들을 통해 정보를 수신, 입력, 가공이 가능하다. 하지만, 현대에 널리 사용되는 마우스, 조이스틱, 트랙볼 등과 같은 포인팅 시스템은 휴대가 불편하고, 사용시 손이 자유롭지 않기에 유비쿼터스 환경에서 사용하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 휴대 및 설치가 간편하고, 사용시 사용자의 손이 자유로운 무선 센서기반의 다차원 사용자 움직임 탐지 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 시스템은 사용자 팔 움직임을 감지하여 수신기로 전달하는 입력기와 입력기로부터 받은 데이터를 응용프로그램으로 전달하는 수신기, 수신한 데이터를 처리하여 명령을 수행하는 응용프로그램으로 구성된다. 실험을 통하여 제안된 시스템이 사용자의 팔 움직임을 정확히 탐지하고, 해당된 입력 요구사항을 충분히 수행함을 보인다.

디지털 기술의 발전에 따라 메타버스가 콘텐츠 시장의 주요 트렌드로 자리하면서 고품질의 3D(dimension) 모델을 생성하는 기술에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있다. 이에 따라 디지털 휴먼으로 대표되는 고품질 3D 가상 인간의 제작과 관련된 다양한 기술적 시도가 이루어지고 있다. 3D 볼류메트릭 캡처는 기존의 3D 모델 생성 방식보다 빠르고 정밀한 3D 인체모형을 생성할 수 있는 기술로 각광 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 볼류메트릭 3D 및 4D 모델 생성 분야에서 적용되는 기술들과 콘텐츠 제작의 애로사항에 대해 실제 사례를 바탕으로 3D 고정밀 페이셜 제작 기술의 분석을 시도한다. 그리고 실제 볼류메트릭 캡처를 통한 모델의 구현 사례를 바탕으로 3D 가상인간의 얼굴 제작에 대한 기술들을 고찰하고 효율적인 휴먼 페이셜 생성을 위한 그래픽스 파이프라인을 활용하여 새로운 메타휴먼을 제작하였다.

디지털 콘텐츠에서 HCI로 활용되는 가상 인간은 얼굴 표정과 신체자세와 같은 모달을 이용하여 다양한 감정을 표현하지만 비언어적 다중모달의 조합에 대한 연구는 많지 않다. 감정을 표현하는 가상 인간을 제작하려면 계산 엔진 모델은 얼굴 표정과 신체자세와 같은 비언어적 모달의 조합이 사용자에 의해 어떻게 인식되는지를 고려해야 하기 때문에 본 연구는 가상 인간의 감정 표현 디자인에 필요한 비언어적 다중모달의 영향을 분석하여 제시한다. 먼저 가상 인간에 대한 다중모달 별 감정 인식을 평가하여 다른 모달간의 상대적 영향성을 분석하였다. 그리고 일치하는 얼굴과 자세 모달을 통해 기본 감정 및 정서가와 활성화 인식에 대한 영향을 평가하며 감정이 불일치하는 다중모달을 통해 일상생활에서 빈번하게 드러나는 중첩된 감정의 인식 정도를 관측하였다. 실험 결과, 가상 인간의 얼굴과 신체자세의 표정이 일치하면 감정 인식이 용이하며, 얼굴 표정으로 감정 카테고리를 판별하지만 감정의 활성화 차원 판단에는 자세 모달리티가 선호됨을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과는 감정을 드러내는 가상 인간의 행동 동기화 및 애니메이션 엔진 시스템 구현에 활용할 수 있다.

Purpose : This study was performed to determine the optimal tile size for the fractal dimension of the mandibular trabecular bone using a tile counting method. Materials and Methods : Digital intraoral radiographic images were obtained at the mandibular angle, molar, premolar, and incisor regions of 29 human dry mandibles. After preprocessing, the parameters representing morphometric characteristics of the trabecular bone were calculated. The fractal dimensions of the processed images were analyzed in various tile sizes by the tile counting method. Results : The optimal range of tile size was 0.132 mm to 0.396 mm for the fractal dimension using the tile counting method. The sizes were closely related to the morphometric parameters. Conclusion : The fractal dimension of mandibular trabecular bone, as calculated with the tile counting method, can be best characterized with a range of tile sizes from 0.132 to 0.396 mm.

본 연구는 웹 미디어 이용에 대한 성찰성을 강조하기 위한 것이다. 미디어 매개적 경험의 확산은 인간의 경험을 축소하고 상실케 함으로써 개인의 자아정체성 인식에 부정적으로 작용할 수 있다는 문제가 제기되고 있다. 특히 최근 증가하고 있는 웹 미디어의 중독적 이용경향은 심각한 우려를 자아내고 있다. 이러한 논의를 규명하기 위해, 본 연구는 웹 미디어의 중독적 이용경험과 자아정체성의 관계를 살펴보았다. 조사대상자를 이용량과 중독적 몰입도를 중심으로 9개 집단으로 구분했고, 이들의 자아정체성을 비교했다. 연구결과, 웹 미디어 중독적 이용경험과 자아정체성간에는 높은 유의미적 상관성이 제시되었다. 특히 웹 미디어 중독적 이용경험의 정도가 높은 집단이 낮은 집단에 비해 자아정체성이 상대적으로 낮게 나타남으로써 웹 미디어의 중독적 이용경험에 대한 우려를 실증해 주었다. 또한 웹 미디어에 대한 단순한 이용량보다는 중독적 몰입정도에 따라 자아정체성의 차이에 더 큰 유의미성이 나타났다.

This study purposed to apply function form content, the three concepts that have been discussed by many philosophers since ancient times, to fashion design. Specific research goals are : first, to define fashion design based on the three concepts : and second, to examine how each of the three concepts function-oriented, form-oriented and content-oriented design have been expressed in women's fashion in the $20^{th} century. For these purposes. the author considered Morris' semiotics, which is the theoretical background of the three concepts, reviewed previous researches in design area, and applied the findings to fashion design. According to the result of applying the threefold structure of semiotics. which is the theoretical background of the three concepts, the pragmatic dimension of fashion design comprehends all functional rules related to the use of dress such as body motion and protection, health and safety. air flow and durability, and its syntactic dimension comprehend all the formal elements of visual design such as the structure, shape, line, color and material of dress. The semantic dimension of fashion design includes the symbolic meanings of dress expressed by emotion, sentiment and images. The three dimensions exist interdependently with one another. According to the result of considering the characteristics of the three concepts in the scope of women's fashion in the $20^{th} century. function-oriented design is characterized by practicality and simplicity, and has been expressed as the fashion of functionalism in the 1920s, that of minimalism in the 1960s, and the basic style from 1970s to 1980s, 1990s and the present. Form-oriented design has pursued aestheticism, putting stress upon form, and has been expressed with organic shapes imitating patterns found in nature in the 1950s and with optical art fashion in the 1960s. Content-oriented design attaches importance to transmission of delicate meanings related to the mental world of human beings, and is represented with symbolic forms. Such a characteristic has been expressed in fashion in the early 20th century influenced by surrealism and, with various types of design breaking established forms as well as metaphors and humors that characterize design in the late 20th century.

The aim of this document is to evaluate the effect of bite balance on physical fitness and motor capacity to determine the importance of the occlusal stability as a possible action mechanism of occlusal appliance including mouthguards on physical performances. We all remember that day when the prominent athlete was in the news wearing a mouthguard to improve human athletic performance. I once had investigated the determinants of athletic performance in all sorts of sports. Most of the studies had overinterpretation of results and lack of evidence to support the information. However, I discovered great expectations for new possibility in this field and settled for a more academic approach to this intriguing subject. The followings are some examples of the subject 1. Archers who wore occlusal appliances to increase the vertical dimension of occlusion by 2~3mm increased their ability to focus and to maintain good sense of balance. Their accuracy rate has been improved. The appliance was made of acrylic resin (a type of plastic). 2. Canoe players who wore occlusal appliances to increase the vertical dimension of occlusion by 5mm surpassed longtime competitor and won the race with 10 seconds gap. 3. A cycle rider who wore an occlusal appliance to treat his malocclusion surpassed his old record from 10.8 seconds to 10.3 seconds. His muscle reflexes (anaerobic exercise) and endurance (aerobic exercise) has been enhanced. 4. Occlusal appliances had a good effect on athletic performance in most sports such as swimming, diving, and weightlifting. As for the clenching on dentition, people clench their teeth when they push their physical and mental limits during sports activities. Clenching can be induced by physical exertion when maximum muscle strength is retained and this is similarly found in different types of exercises. In addition, restraint of respiratory function is observed. Therefore, creating a occlusal balance with occlusal appliance or mouthguard promoted a favorable influence when an athlete clenches.
