도서관학의 체계화에 관한 연구-도서관 "관" 의 문제 (A Study on the System of Library Science - a problem of the view-point of library -)

  • The view point of the library is treated as a first subject. This study is scheduled to construct, as a experimental study, the system of the Library Science. The study of this fields is called upon greatly because the trial to understand library as a socio-cultural phenomenon did not study as many times. As a result of the study, library is defined as ${\ulcorner}Structural Formation of Inquirying Behavior{\lrcorner}$. Not only technique and actual proof are possible in this study but also this definition is technical definition to indicate the main phenomenon of Librarial Behavior. This schedule represent the trial to define Library Behavior which could anticipate and fabricate when we analyze this definition First, we can find out, first of all, the researching behavior among the human behaviors and then human behavior has the condition of practice. At last, researching behavior can not have any result when it is a natural situation, it has only the meaning when it is guided by an obvious intention. The object of the library is just this human behavior. Second, Formation permits the guidance and self-control at the same-times. The answer about what we find out and practice make it possible the act of guidance. This guidance can't burden any subject but permit the people to result his own researching behaviors. He can save his activities, his own researching behaviors by the result of it. Third, The statematical means efficient performances, and them efficient performances is impossible, here is 'discoveries' of behavior itself. The system of the library is the formation of the relation between the accumulated civilizations and accumulated civilizations. As the definitions of the above mentions, library has the big abilities to the creation and succession of the civilization. As the contemporary view-points, there are some questions about the above described definition can meet it of the library. When we frame the science of library as the learning systems, we can't but the library as this definitions.

AHP를 활용한 학교도서관 운영평가 지표의 우선순위 분석 (An Analysis on Priority of School Library Evaluation Index Utilizing the AHP)

  • 이 연구는 학교도서관 운영평가 지표의 우선순위를 도출하여 현장성이 반영된 평가지표의 개선방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학교도서관의 대표적인 전담인력인 사서교사를 대상으로 Analytic Hierarchy Progress(AHP) 분석방법을 적용하여 평가지표의 우선순위를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 상위 계층 평가영역의 우선순위는 인적자원, 도서관서비스, 정보자원, 도서관경영, 시설 환경 순으로 나타났고, 하위 계층 평가항목의 우선순위는 인력자원배치, 인력자원 전문성, 독서교육, 정보활용교육, 교육활성화 노력, 장서 구성 적설성, 장서 최신성, 예산, 시설 접근성, 장서 현황, 시설 설비 적절성, 경영계획, 이용 접근성, 홍보 및 마케팅, 학교도서관운영위원회, 협력, 자료이용현황 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 도출한 결론은 현장성이 가미된 학교도서관 평가지표를 적용함에 있어서 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

Human Resources Management at the Library of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia during the COVID-19 Pandemic

  • This study aims to understand human resource management in the Library of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) during the COVID-19 pandemic. This institution had to change its work procedures, including its management of human resources. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, carried out from October to December 2020. The findings show that working from home practices had the following impacts: reduced ability to concentrate while working; many forced changes to the work programme; and problems of miscommunication due to work instructions being conveyed through a WhatsApp group. In response to the situation, the planning function of management was used to suspend the recruitment of interns; the organizing function was divided up tasks into two or three working days a week; the actuating function was seen in the willingness of leadership to motivate staff and to optimize resources by providing training; and the controlling function was realized in an online presence and online reporting mechanisms. It was concluded that the implementation of human resource management in the library was achieved through flexibility and staff empowerment. This involved carrying out initiatives and controlling their effectiveness in response to whatever changes were required by the latest pronouncements from government. Obstacles were still encountered in the implementation of these changes, especially in relation to the organizing function of management, where some conflict was seen between the DPR RI librarians.

도서관자동화와 자동화에 의한 영향 (Library automation and its impact on library)

  • This paper consists of three chapters. Changes and objectives of library automation are discussed in chapter 1 and 2 respectively. The dominant trends in library automation which begun in 1960's can be described ; the 1960's was dominated by primitive local systems and the 1970's by online networks. And in the 1980's, there is a return to local system but with various options to networks. The major objectives of library automation are to improve speed of technical process, to get economic efficiency, and to provide better services. But the library planning automation should take account of experiences of the others that those objectives are not easily achieved. The impact of automation on a library is discussed in chapter 3. First, emphasis of libraries shifts from a collection orientation to an access orientation. Computer allowed to access not only to materials of their own library but also to those of others. Second, libraries should reconsider all their activities and services. Those must be reorganized by several principles such as rationalization, intelligent use of automation, and maximizing of human self-fulfillment. Third, change on organizational structure is anticipated. Flat organization in stead of existing hierarchy will provide rapid communication for problem - solving and intensify professionalism. Machine with proper capabilities and well programed software are prerequisites for library automation. But beyond these prerequisites, human factor should be stressed as well as mechanical factor. Therefore, understanding of changes due to automation, aggressive acceptance of trend, and su n.0, pport of organization are required in order to get successful results.

Isolation and Characterization of Human scFv Molecules Specific for Recombinant Human Heat Shock Protein (HSP) 70.1

  • Background: The heat shock proteins (HSPs) play an important role in cellular protection mechanisms against physical or chemical stresses. In this study scFv antibodies specific for human HSP70.1 were isolated from a semi-synthetic human scFv library with the ultimate goal of developing anti-HSP70.1 intracellular antibody (intrabody) that may offer an attractive alternative to gene targeting to study the function of the protein in cells. Methods: A semi-synthetic human scFv display library ($5{\times}10^{8}$ size) was constructed using pCANTAB-5E vector and the selection of the library against bacterially expressed recombinant human HSP70.1 was attempted by panning. Results: Three positive clones specific for recombinant HSP70.1 were identified. All three clones used $V_{H}$ subgroup III. On the other hand, $V_{L}$ of two clones belonged to the kappa light chain subgroup I, but the other utilized $V_{k}$ subgroup IV Interestingly, these scFv molecules specifically reacted to the recombinant HSP70.1, yet failed to recognize native HSP70 induced in U937 human monocytic cells by heat treatment. Conclusion: Our results indicated that affinity selection of an scFv phage display library using recombinant antigens produced in E. coli might not guarantee the isolation of scFv antibody molecules specific for a native form of the antigen. Therefore, the source of target antigens needs to be chosen carefully in order to isolate biofunctional antibody molecules.

고몰입 인적자원관리 시스템이 대학도서관 조직성과에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effect of High Commitment Human Resource Management System on the Performance of University Library)

  • 이 연구는 조직의 성과를 극대화 할 수 있는 방안으로 개인의 직무만족과 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인의 탐색을 통한 대학도서관 인적자원관리 시사점 도출을 목적으로 하고 있다. 대학도서관 조직의 전략과 연계된 조직차원의 인적자원관리 시스템이 조직성과에 미치는 직접적 영향 관계의 분석뿐 아니라 고몰입 인적자원관리 시스템이 조직성과에 영향을 미치는 권한위임, 조직문화, 조직공정성, 이직의도 등의 영향관계를 파악하고자 한다. 또한 조직수준 혹은 개인수준의 성과측정이라는 방식을 탈피하여 조직수준의 인적자원관리가 개인수준의 성과에 미치는 영향을 측정하고자 하였다.

  • 이 글의 목적은 한국의 학교도서관정책이 안고 있는 문제의 본질을 밝혀내고 그 원인을 규명하여, 문제의 실효적인 해결을 위한 대안을 제시하는데 있다. 이 글은 특히 교육부가 추진해온 학교도서관 인력정책의 부작용과 폐해에 주목하면서, 인력정책이 파행적으로 추진되어온 배경과 원인을 토착적인 시각에서 밝혀내고, 인력정책의 건강성을 회복시키기 위한 실사구시적인 처방을 강구하는데 논점을 두고 있다. 이를 위해, 이 글은 '학교도서관의 본질적 기능'과 '전담인력의 자격과 역량'에 관한 기존의 주장과 논리에 비판적으로 접근하고 있으며, 인력문제의 합리적인 해결을 위해 한국 고유의 교육문화와 도서관문화 그리고 인력구조를 반영한 전략과 방안을 제시하고 있다.

Construction of a Large Synthetic Human Fab Antibody Library on Yeast Cell Surface by Optimized Yeast Mating

  • Yeast surface-displayed antibody libraries provide an efficient and quantitative screening resource for given antigens, but suffer from typically modest library sizes owing to low yeast transformation efficiency. Yeast mating is an attractive method for overcoming the limit of yeast transformation to construct a large, combinatorial antibody library, but the optimal conditions have not been reported. Here, we report a large synthetic human Fab (antigen binding fragment) yeast surface-displayed library generated by stepwise optimization of yeast mating conditions. We first constructed HC (heavy chain) and LC (light chain) libraries, where all of the six CDRs (complementarity-determining regions) of the variable domains were diversified mimicking the human germline antibody repertoires by degenerate codons, onto single frameworks of VH3-23 and $V{\kappa}1$-16 germline sequences, in two haploid cells of opposite mating types. Yeast mating conditions were optimized in the order of cell density, media pH, and cell growth phase, yielding a mating efficiency of ~58% between the two haploid cells carrying HC and LC libraries. We constructed two combinatorial Fab libraries with CDR-H3 of 9 or 11 residues in length with colony diversities of more than $10^9$ by one round of yeast mating between the two haploid HC and LC libraries, with modest diversity sizes of ${\sim}10^7$. The synthetic human Fab yeast-displayed libraries exhibited relative amino acid compositions in each position of the six CDRs that were very similar to those of the designed repertoires, suggesting that they are a promising source for human Fab antibody screening.

효과적인 학교도서관 경영을 위한 인적자원의 배치 현황 및 직무만족도 분석 연구 (An Analysis on Job Satisfaction & Disposition of Human Resources for Effective Administration in Korean School Libraries)

  • 본 연구는 학교도서관 인적자원 배치에 관한 현황 분석과 인적자원의 직무만족 실태 분석을 통해 효과적인 학교도서관 경영을 위한 인적자원 배치 방안의 제시와 인적자원의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하였다. 이를 위해 학교도서관 인적자원의 배치에 관한 법률적, 통계적 자료를 고찰하였고, 직무만족도 조사를 위하여 전국 327명의 학교도서관 인적자원을 대상으로 2006년 12월 1일부터 12월 31일에 걸쳐 질문지를 발송하여 회수한 254개의 질문지를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석한 결과, 학교급, 근무경력, 고용구분에 따라 인적자원의 직무만족도에 유의미한 차이가 있음이 검증되었다. 검증된 결과를 근거로 효과적인 학교도서관 경영을 위한 인적자원의 배치율과 직무만족을 향상시키기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

팬데믹을 경험한 사서들의 도서관 운영정책 중요도에 대한 인식변화 연구: N시 공공도서관을 중심으로 (A Study on the Changes of Librarians Perception in the Importance of Library Policy Before and After Pandemic: Focused on N City Public Libraries)

  • 뉴노멀 시대로 특징지어지는 현대사회가 COVID-19 팬데믹을 겪으면서 도서관에 많은 변화를 요구하였고, 도서관계는 이에 대하여 선제적으로 그리고 다각적으로 대응하였다. 본 연구는 팬데믹과 같은 새로운 환경이 사서들이 인식하는 도서관 운영정책 우선순위를 변화시킬 것이라고 보고, 2020년 팬데믹이 시작되는 시점과 2022년 팬데믹이 정점을 지난 시점에서 도서관 운영정책 중요도를 쌍대비교 분석을 통하여 파악하였고 그 차이를 비교·분석하였다. 1차 조사에서는 도서관경영, 도서관 서비스 관련 운영정책 영역을 중요하게 여겼다면, 2차 조사에서는 인적자원과 정보자원에 관련된 운영정책 영역을 보다 중요하게 인지하고 있었다. 또한, 전체 영역 상위 5위에 인적자원과 관련된 3개의 세부 운영영역과 자료구입 예산, 이용자만족도 기반의 정책이 포함되었다. 따라서 공공도서관은 새로운 패러다임에 빠르게 적응하면서도 지속가능한 도서관 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 지속적인 인적자원에 대한 투자, 충분하고도 다양한 형태의 정보자원 구축, 그리고 이용자 맞춤 정책 수립 등을 우선적으로 수행해야 할 것이다.
