하악편측치아의 결손에 따른 악관절의 조직반응에 대한 연구 (AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE TISSUE RESPONSE OF THE TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT IN UNILATERAL MANDIBULAR EDENTULISM)

  • The human temporomandibular joint as a ginglymoarthrodial one has much in common with the other synovial joints of the body, but it does possess an unique charachteristic in that it must accomodate the various occlusal relations of dentition during an end point of closure. For that reason, the movement of the condyle in the temporomandibular joint is susceptible to influences from the nature of occlusion. Undue loading to the temporomandibular joint can be applied on the occasion of premature contacts in centric relation, balancing side interferences, change of occlusal surfaces due to excessive attrition, loss of tooth. Such occlusal disharmonies in association with the systemic and emotional factors may give rise to the temporomandibular disorder. On the other hand, the changes of occlusal patterns in the growing body can also have an effect on the growth of the temporomandibular joint through the alterations of functional stresses. The purpose of this study was to observe histopathologic response of the temporomandibular joint in unilateral chewing on one side exclusively for 10 months. Three dogs showing normal masticatory function were chosen. One dog aged about 12 months was for control, two dogs for experimental specimens were about 12 and 18 months old respectively. For chewing on the left side only, unilateral lower right premolar and molar were extracted in two experimental specimens. And then three dogs were sacrificed 10 months later. Frontal histologic sectioning of joints were done for the observation of the effects of one-side chewing. 24 specimens from three dogs were obtained and fixed in 10% formalin and routinly processed with H-E staining for histologic examination. The light microscopic findings were interpretated as follows: 1. Experimental specimen 1 aged about 22 months: In comparison with control and right non-chewing side, the proliferative and hypertrophic zone were increased at the mesial and lateral part of left chewing side condyle. There was no change of the articular tissue of temporal bone. 2. Experimental specimen 2 aged about 28 months: The articular tissues of adult joint were observed. The differences between the chewing and non-chewing side were not seen in the articular tissues of condyle and temporal bone.

우주개발동향과 주요 이슈 (Trend of Space Development and Issue)

  • October 4, 1957 the Soviet Sputnik 1 was launched into space the first time in the history of mankind. After launching, the realm of humankind was expanded to space. Today all countries of the world wage a fierce competition in order to utilize space for various purposes. World powers of space such as United States, Russia, China, and Japan, put reconnaissance satellites and ocean surveillance satellites into orbit, being able to easily see equipment and troops movement on earth. Each country makes efforts to occupy space assets through the militarization of space and expand national interests. Recently private companies or individuals involved in commercial space activities are becoming more prevalent. Thus, in addition to space activities for military purposes, commercial space activities become widespread. Individuals and private companies as well as nations are also involved in space activities. Outer space is not the monopoly of space powers such as the United States and Russia. The whole human race can benefit from free access to space, being the common heritage of mankind. In particular, outer space becomes an indispensable element of military activities and human life. Many countries are now entering space development, putting a lot of budget into new development programs. Republic of Korea also built the Narodo Space Center, starting its space development with budget and manpower. We have to find out ways to use space not only for military purposes but also for commercial space activities that can contribute to the national economy. In addition, through the joint efforts of the international community, we have to make efforts for preservation and peaceful use of space. Various issues relating to space activities and research should be studies in order to contribute to the progress of humanity. Those issues include the definition of outer space, space debris reduction and environmental conservation issues, non-bind measure cooperation - European International Code of Conduct, space law and national legislation related empowerment issues, arms control measures in space, and restrictions on the use of nuclear fuel. We also need to be involved in the discussion of those issues as one of responsible space countries. In addition, we try to find out regional cooperation schemes such as the ESA in the Europe actively. Currently in the Northeast Asia, cooperation bodies led by Japan and China respectively, are operated in the confrontational way. To avoid such confrontation, a new cooperative body needs to be established for cooperation on space exploration and information. The system to allow the exchange of satellite information for early warning of natural disasters needs to be built as well. In addition, efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the relevant international treaties on space, and fill in the blanks in international space laws should be made at the same time. To this end, we have to do a leading role in the establishment of standards such as non-binding measures (resolution) - Code of Conduct, being discussed in the UN and other organizations, and compliance with those standards. Courses in aerospace should be requires in law schools and educational institutes, and professional manpower need to be nurtured. In addition, the space-related technology and policy needs to be jointly studied among the private, public, and military groups, and the cross exchange among them should be encouraged.

음양이합론(陰陽離合論)을 바탕으로한 개합추(開闔樞) 이론(理論) 연구(硏究) (Study on the bolt-leaf-hanges in Three-yum and Three yang based on Treatise on the Darting and meeting of Yum and yang)

  • In terms of the bolt-leaf-hanges in Three-yum and Three yang I referd to successive medical books and many recent literatures on the basis of Huangjenegeong Somun Treatise on the Darting and meeting of Yin and yang, thus considerd concept of successive commentators about the bolt-leaf-hanges in Three-yum and Three yang and reconstructed and systeamtically arranged the bolt-leaf-hanges's interrelationship, yum-yang's relation and movement of six chnnel, and then studied there trinciple in all the universe apply the body and the process is operated by the bolt-leaf-hanges in the trinciples followed in human make his life adaption environment. The process is operated by the bolt-leaf-hanges in Three-yum and Three yang. The trinciples followed in. Firstly, Three-yum and Three yang is not dirrerentiate by many, middle, little of yum-yanggi's different function & role. Secondly, Three-yum and Three yang is negatively related white showing that there is the bolt-leaf-hanges relationship through space of Three-yum and Three yang. Through internal relationship of Three yum channel & Three yang channel, it can be proven that Three-yum and Three yang is in negative relation and through achieving the bolt-leaf-hanges relation in dimensional concept, it can be proven that it can actually be applied to human. Thirdly, by showing Three-yum and Three yang's the bolt-leaf-hanges relation is relation between Three yum & Three yang as well as negative relation, it can be shown that Three-yum and Three yang's the bolt-leaf-hanges activity is circular, and that it maintains itself through appropriate transformation. Fourth, understanding of Three-yum and Three yang's the bolt-leaf-hanges relationship and yum-yang Concern & six channer's activity has been varied. It means that the understanding is affected by socity, philosophical & research culture of the various times. The purpose has been to systematically arrange and diagnosing Three-yum and Three yang's the bolt-leaf-hanges and thus make up a fundamental for recognition. But, further study should be carried out on medical explanation on the bolt-leaf-hanges and interpretation and operation of the bolt-leaf-hanges in O-UnYukKiron.

영상 정합 및 통계학적 패턴 분류를 이용한 호흡률 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of Respiratory Rate Using Image Alignment and Statistical Pattern Classification)

  • 영상을 이용한 생체 신호 측정 기술이 발전하고 있으며, 특히 생명 유지를 위한 호흡 신호 측정기술 연구가 지속적으로 진행되고 있다. 기존 기술은 사람의 몸에서 방출하는 열을 측정하는 열화상 카메라를 통하여 호흡 신호를 측정하였다. 또한, 실시간으로 사람의 흉부 움직임을 분석하여 호흡률을 측정하는 연구도 진행되었다. 하지만, 적외선 열화상 영상을 이용하여 영상 처리를 하는 것은 외부 환경 요인으로 인해 호흡 기관의 탐색이 어려울 수 있으며, 이에 따라 호흡률 측정의 정확도가 떨어지는 문제들이 발생했다. 본 연구에서는 호흡 기관의 영역 탐색을 강화하기 위해 가시광 및 적외선 열화상 카메라를 이용하여 영상을 취득하였다. 그리고 두 영상을 기반으로 얼굴 인식, 영상 정합 등의 과정을 통해 호흡 기관 영역의 특징을 추출한다. 추출한 특징 값을 통계학적 분류 방법 중 하나인 k-최근접 이웃 분류기를 통해 호흡 신호의 패턴을 분류한다. 분류한 패턴의 특성에 따라 호흡률을 계산하며, 측정한 호흡률의 성능을 확인하기 위해 실제 호흡률과 비교 과정을 통해 분석함으로써, 호흡률 측정의 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • 지구 환경에 피해를 주는 인간행위들을 바로 잡지 못하여 생태적 재앙이 지속적으로 확대되어 갈 가능성을 줄이기 위하여, 과연 예술은 인간이 자연을 이해하고 자연과 상호작용하는 방식을 바꿀 수 있을까? 지구에서 환경적 정의와 삶의 지속가능성을 실현하는 예술적 방법론은 무엇일까? 본고는 이러한 질문들의 답을 찾아보고자 한다. 지구 환경을 바라보고 느끼고 이해하고 행동하는 방법을 찾는, 즉 지구 환경에 대한 지향의 방식을 고민하는 과정은 많은 인간적 산물이 자연을 생명의 원천이 아닌 착취의 자원으로 대했던 역사를 비판적으로 사유하게 할 것이다. 이러한 의지를 가지고 본 논문은 '환경예술 운동의 선구자'로 불리는 해리슨 스튜디오의 생태예술에 주목한다. 본론에서는 해리슨 스튜디오의 주요한 프로젝트를 분석하여 생태학적 함의와 미학적 전략을 찾는다. 특히 대화적 방법론에 초점을 둠으로써, 해리슨 스튜디오가 펼친 다양한 협업적 실천의 의의를 제시한다. 그리하여 그들이 생태예술의 가치에 대한 실제적인 경험과 이해의 폭을 확장할 수 있는 데 기여하였을 뿐만 아니라, 어떤 획일적인 교환의 규칙에 한정되지 않고 상호 간에 연결되고 중첩된 인식적 차원을 끊임없이 생산해 냄으로써 생태학적 의식의 방향성을 다시 돌아보게 하는 힘을 지니고 있음을 논증한다.

심근관류 SPECT 검사의 정확도 검증을 위한 새로운 심장.흉부 팬텀의 개발 (Development of a New Cardiac and Torso Phantom for Verifying the Accuracy of Myocardial Perfusion SPECT)

  • 단일광자방출컴퓨터단층촬영(SPECT) 시 정확도의 개선을 위하여 산란과 감약의 보정, 분해능의 개선이 매우 중요하다. 특히 호흡이나 맥동에 대한 심장의 움직임은 보정 에러의 원인이 된다. 심장 팬텀이 보정방법에 대한 검증을 위해 사용되고 있으나, 현재 사용 중인 팬텀들은 실제 인체 데이터와 다른 점이 많이 나타나고 있다. 즉 팬텀을 사용한 결과는 임상데이터와 같게 취급할 수가 없다. 저자들은 흉곽의 인체 구조와 같은 신뢰성 있는 새로운 팬텀을 개발하였다. 새로운 팬텀은 폐와 심장의 전면, 측면 및 상부가 접하는 작은 종격구조를 가지고 있다. 용기는 아크릴로 만들었으며 종격은 물 등가물질을 사용하여 제조하였다. 폐는 에폭시레진의 고형 폴리우레탄 폼을 사용하였다. 5가지 크기의 심장은 게이트 심근관류 SPECT의 정량적 분석을 위하여 개발되었다. 심장팬텀들의 종격은 같은 포지션에 위치할 수 있도록 고안되었다. 완성된 팬텀은 간과 담낭에 부착되고 각각 높이 조절이 가능하다. 5개의 심실의 용적은 각각 150.0, 137.3, 83.1, 42.7과 38.6ml이다. 새로운 팬톰을 사용하여 SPECT 검사를 시행하고 보정법을 적용한 후에 영상의 차이를 검토하였다. 심장의 3차원 단층상이 효율적으로 재구성 되었으며 여러 가지 보정방법의 차이를 나타내기 위하여 주관적 평가도 시행하였다. 저자들은 SPECT영상과 QGS(Quantitative Gated SPECT) 결과로서 보정방법의 차이를 나타낼 수 있는 새로운 팬텀을 개발하여 보고하는 바이다.

Y-system으로 관찰한 Bell's palsy에 미치는 수기요법의 영향에 관한 임상적 연구 (The Clinical study of Su-Gi therapy's Effects on Bell's palsy by observing of Y-system)

  • Objects : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Su-Gi therapy for Bell's palsy by using Y-system(Yanagihara's unweighted grading system). Methods : We investigated 25 patients with Bell's palsy who had visited in the M, H Korean medicine hospital in Gyeonggi Province from December 27th, 2010 to April 8th, 2015. The Su-Gi therapy was done by 1 times daily. And each patients had been treated more than 25 days. We evaluated the change of them by using Y-system. Results : 1. We investigated 25 patients with Bell's palsy. 80% of the patients were females(20 patients), 20% of the patients were male(5 patients). The average age of patients was 47±15.15. The average period of Adm. treatment was 64% of the patients(16 patients) have left facial palsy, 36% of the patients(9 patients) have right facial palsy. 2. The mean Y-system score before treatment was 17.80±6.2, and the mean score after 25th days treatment was 33.68±4.0. Changes in the mean Y-system Score for each case according to the treatment days was increased significantly. 3. The mean Y-system score after 4th days treatment had increased by an 1.24±2.7 as compared to before treatment, the score after 10th days treatment was 8.7±4.7, the score after 14th days treatment was 11.84±5.8, the score after 20th days treatment is 14.72±6.7, and the score after 25th days treatment was 15.88±6.9. Every score was significantly increased. Conclusions: 1. Su-Gi therapy can be defined that is mainly using the hands to touch or movement of the human body skin, meridians and acupuncture points, muscles, joints and so on. And that is the treatment to communicate and harmonize to the meridians and acupuncture points, and to prevent of diseases, and to keep health. 2. All names of An-Gyo, An-Ma, Jum-Hyul, Chu-Na, massage, and so on should be referred to as Su-Gi therapy. And that individual names are to be classified and separated as the type or method of Su-Gi therapy. 3. The results of the treatment of Hwidam's Su-Gi therapy for Bell's palsy by using Y-system were significant.

전방십자인대 재건술 후 슬관절 운동치료 접근에 관한 고찰 (Exercise Treatment of Knee Joint After Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Operation)

  • Purpose : Today, it enjoys a sports and a leisure where the anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) injury patient increase. The knee joint is important means of human body movement and to do an important duty when it encounters ACL injuries of the knee joint and the many restriction follows in the life which is ordinary. When it is damaged ACL, it comes to determinate that ACL reconstruction and preservation treatment that the according to condition of ligament and knee joint. After ACL reconstruction, that is the fact which already becomes known the exercise treatment advances a recovery and to reduce a sequela. Methods : we researched the method of exercise treatment after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction operation by journal of science direct and KISS in daecu university. Results : The representative exercise treatment is isometric exercise, isokinetic exercise isotonic exercise and complex exercise but what kind of exercise treatment most is effective, it revealed and support it was not. The method of exercise treatment is very various, so It causes a confusion made to the therapist and patients. So it executes once again it sought the kinetic therapeutic method which is efficient from this research and it tried to observe preceding research after ACL reconstruction. To operation a various the exercise treatments, operation only the treatment which is general compared to it was effective in muscular power and muscle functional improvement. But this like improve despite with the exercise treatment consequence which is continuous from research of most the pain leg compares to the health leg, it appeared the discrepancy which is a muscular power, a muscular endurance and a hypertrophy muscle etc, to the health leg or before operating 100% of muscular power to having gets the many therapy time was the recovery rate. Conclusion : Therefore after ACL reconstruction, it will become the many research continuously which is improve the muscle functional and ROM of the exercise treatment method and From therapeutic site of the patients it does to memorizes knowledge in advance about ACL injuries and the application the isokinetic treatment or exercise program are the set of necessary, frequency and amusement that considers complex what kind of therapeutic exercise becomes accomplished with the patient take care of attention.

뇌전도 기반 마우스 제어를 위한 동작 상상 뇌 신호 분석 (Motor Imagery Brain Signal Analysis for EEG-based Mouse Control)

  • 본 논문에서는 사지가 마비되어 신체를 움직이지 못하지만 뇌의 기능은 살아있는 장애인들을 위하여, 생각만으로 외부의 장치를 제어할 수 있도록 하는 뇌-컴퓨터 인터페이스(BCI: Brain-Computer Interface) 기술을 연구하였다. 신경생리학 분야에서의 연구 결과에 의하면, 신체를 움직이는 상상을 할 경우, 뇌의 운동/감각 피질 영역에서는 $\beta$파(14-26 Hz)와 $\mu$파(8-12 Hz)가 억제/증가되는 ERD/ERS(Event-Related Desynchronization / Synchronization) 현상이 발생한다고 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 이를 기반으로 혀, 발, 왼손, 오른손의 동작 상상을 자극으로 이용하여 변화하는 뇌 신호 패턴을 실시간으로 분석하여 피험자의 생각을 읽을 수 있도록 하였으며, 상 하 좌 우의 네 방향으로 이동할 수 있도록 하는 마우스 제어 인터페이스를 구현하였다. 동작 상상 시 발생하는 뇌 신경 활동의 변화를 관측하기 위해서 뇌에 손상을 주지 않으면서도 높은 시간 해상도로 측정이 가능한 비침습적 뇌전도(EEG: ElectroEncephaloGraphy)를 이용하였다. 그러나 뇌전도 신호는 특성상 신호의 크기가 미약하고, 잡음의 영향을 많아 분석이 어렵다. 따라서 이를 극복하기 위해 통계적 방법을 기반으로 한 기계학습 기법인 CSP(Common Spatial Pattern)와 선형판별 분석(Linear Discriminant Analysis)을 이용하여 서로 다른 동작 상상에 의해 발생하는 뇌 신호들 간의 분산이 최대가 되도록 신호를 변환하여 인식 성능을 높일 수 있었다. 또한 분석된 뇌 신호의 시각화를 통해, 기존에 알려진 뇌의 해부학적, 신경생리학적 지식과 일치하는 ERD/ERS 현상이 발생하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

좌심실 심근 모델을 이용한 게이트 심근 SPECT 영상의 운동성 분석 (Motility Analysis of Gate Myocardium SPECT Image Using Left Ventricle Myocardium Model)

  • 심장 운동의 분석은 인체에 혈액을 공급하는 역할에 대한 평가이다. 심근의 움직임을 평가하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 좌심실 심근 모델을 수학적으로 구축하였으며, 심장의 움직임에 대한 파라미터를 이용하여 운동성을 상세화 하였다. 구축한 모델을 심장의 생화학적 반응을 보이는 게이트 심근 SPECT 영상에 적용시켜서, 모델과 게이트 심근 SPECT 영상 사이의 운동성을 분석하였다. 심근 모델은 sinusoidal 함수를 이용한 3차원 super-ellipsoidal 모델을 기반으로 생성하였으며 움직임과 형태의 변화를 주기 위한 파라미터 함수를 이용하여 좌심실 심근의 형태와 움직임에 대한 유사성을 모델화 하였다. 이 모델과 심근 게이트 SPECT 영상 데이터와 LSF 알고리즘을 이용하여 fitting 시킨 후 생성된 모델을 토대로 하여 심근 게이트 SPECT 영상의 영역별 운동성 방향과 크기를 산출하여 분석하였으며, 지역적 운동성의 표현을 위해 심장기능 평가에 사용되는 Bull's Eye형식의 map을 만들었다. SPECT를 이용한 심장의 기능평가로 움직임과 수축능, 혈류 등을 이용해서 하고 있으나 운동량에 대한 평가는 없다. 본 논문에서 제안한 모델을 이용한 심근 SPECT의 운동성 분석은 심장 기능 평가에 유용한 지표가 될 것으로 기대한다.
