Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors influencing the housing satisfaction of the new middle-aged who returned to farming to derive the implications of real estate policies to resolve regional imbalances. Research design, data and methodology: As a result, this study used secondary data, housing survey data, and identified factors influencing housing satisfaction through multiple regression analysis as well as basic analysis such as exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, technical statistics analysis, and correlation analysis. Previous studies, in particular, mainly focused on aging, retirement, economic activity, and retirement preparation, but this study was able to derive predictive factors that can increase the persistence of living after returning to farming by analyzing housing satisfaction for the new middle-aged, and as a result, suggest implications for resolving regional imbalances. Results: As a result of the analysis, it was found that housing structure status had the greatest influence among the three factors of housing-related predictors: housing structure status, facility accessibility, and surrounding environment, suggesting that policy alternatives that can improve the quality of the housing structure itself should be prepared rather than facility accessibility and the surrounding environment. Conclusions: Based on these results, we discussed implications for improving the housing structure to increase the continuity of living for the new middle-aged after returning to farming, and presented follow-up research directions on the need for complementary research in addition to individual analysis of influencing factors, limitations of secondary data, and the lighting of research on the new middle-aged and other generations who did not return to farming.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences housing needs between Korean and Japanese employed wives. Subjects consisted of 90 Korean employed and 141 Japanese employed wives who have children aged between 0-12 years old. The subjects were surveyed with a questionnaire specifically developed for this study to evaluate the housing needs of this growing segment of population. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical package. The results of descriptive statistics, x$^2$-test, multiple linear regressions are presented. The findings were as follows: 1) Korean employed wives depend on grandparents and relatives in their child-care and housework when the wives were out. On the contrary, Japanese employed wives put much more values on aid of their husband and community facilities fur child-care and housework. 2) The housing community needs showed significant differences. But Japanese employed wives needed more convenient community facilities that could be socialized housework than Korean employed wives. 3) Korean employed wives wanted gathered apartment house, and Japanese employed wives wanted row house. In comparison of working space needs in individual house, Korean employed wives wanted dining kitchen filled with many kinds of electric appliance including laundry space more, Japanese employed wives wanted LDK type which they have family interaction more and to depart laundry space from kitchen.

For these purpose, a survey is conducted using questionaires. The data used in this study included 369 renters living in Seoul. Statistics uses for data analysis were Frequency Distribution. Percentile, men, Pearson's Correlation, Partial Correlation, One-way ANOVA, Breakdown and Multiple Regression Analysis. Major findings are as follows : The average score of rent burden was 35.87, Therefore rent burden of large cities, rental households is very heavy. Family income, housing facility quality, rent type, and rent incresing have independent influences on rent burden. The average of family economic problem perception is above the mid-point of the scale. Purpose - This study examines what are the asset market fluctuations in Europe and how each economic variable affects major variables, and explore the dynamics of housing and stock market through Greece. The variables under consideration are balance on current account (BCA), index of stock (STOCK), gross domestic product (GDP), housing price indices (HOUSING), M3, real rate of interest (IR_REAL) and household credits (LOAN). We investigate the functional and causal relationships between housing and stock market. Research design, data, and methodology - Vector error correction model (VECM) is used to figure out the dynamic relationships among variables. This study also contains the augmented Dickey-Fuller unit root, cointegration, Granger causality test, and impulse response function and variance decomposition analysis by EViews 11.0. Results - The statistical tests show that all variables under consideration have one unit root and there is a longterm equilibrium relationship among variables for Greece. GDP, IR_REAL, M3, STOCK and LOAN can be considered as causal factors to affect real estate market, while GDP, LOAN, M3, BCA and HOUSING can bring direct effects to stock market in Greece. Conclusions - It can be judged that the policy that affects the lending policy of financial institutions may be more effective than the indirect variable such as monetary interest rate.
Managing apartments is critical not only to handling the physical deterioration over time, but also to the quality of community life, social environment and ultimately residents' satisfaction with the housing environment. Therefore, this study aims at understanding residents' awareness of apartment management, and finding the relationship between management activities and residents' satisfaction and participation by comparing an apartment with active management and an apartment without it. This study examines 1) management activities of two subject apartment complexes, and 2) how management activities affect residents' participation and satisfaction. Surveys were conducted of the residents, and SPSS statistics package was utilized to analyze the survey data. This study found that management activities of apartment complex have positive influence on residents' participation and satisfaction with their housing environment. The results of this study can be utilized as basic materials to develop effective guidelines and manual from the perspective of environmental management of apartment houses, in order to improve the participation of the residents in the apartment management.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the residential mobility effects and planning discrepancies of home-owning households and renting households. The data for the empirical analysis were collected from 248 units residing in Ulsan and were studied using descriptive statistics, chi-squared tests by cross-tabulation and multiple regressions. The majority of the households did not experience a change in types of housing structure or ownership after the residential mobility. However, the housing size increased after residential mobility, showing that most moves were due to the deficit of housing sizes. In terms of future mobility plans, there were significant differences between home-owning households and renting households. More than two-thirds of the renting households were willing to move within 2-4 years to obtain home ownership. On the other hand, most home-owning households were willing to move for housing size, education of the head, and investment purposes. Compared to the forty-four percent of the home-owning households, seventy-two percent of the renting households were willing to relocate, which shows the effects of unstable housing circumstances.

The government real estate policy has repeatedly relaxed and reinforced controls under the mutually contradictory targets. Switching over the supporting policy after the IMF crisis to the regulating policy from 2003, the government housing policy began to generate ill effects due to various regulations. This stud carefully investigates and statistically tests the transmissions of variations in the housing prices between the metropolitan areas in the early stage of the preceding administration, under the effect of the supporting scheme, and those in the late stage, under the effect of the restricting scheme. The distinctive feature between the two periods is found to be much simplified interrelationships of the price variations in the latter period. Consolidated leading role of capital sphere, by concentrated economic strength, suggest the obvious imbalance between variations in the metropolis housing prices.
