지체장애 주부의 가사노동 대처방안에 대한 사례연구 (The disabled homemakers Copping Strategies on Housework)

  • This research is to understand the actual conditions of the degrees of housework share, the usage of kitchen equipments, the adjustments of residence, and community service to understand difficulties on housework that disabled homemakers can have, and to present possible copping strategies for homelife improvement of disabled homemakers. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows : 1) Main difficulties are that the disabled homemakers feel when performing housework are the preparation of meals, doing dishes, doing laundry, cleaning up etc, which are the essential parts of ones homelife. 2) The result shows that having a rice cooker, a refrigerator, and a stove is a necessity for the disabled homemakers and that the degree of usage is pretty high. 3) Most of the disabled homemakers lack basic adjustments for the disabled in their residence such as the adjustments of the height of shelves. 4) Considering that they do not recognize community service for them, and most of them are not covered by any service, we can conclude that community service for disabled homemakers is not run enough.

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate the allocation of time for housework and leisure and the causal relations between management satisfaction and all variables affecting it. for this purposes the data were collected through the questionnaire whose respondnet were 448 housewives. The major results of this study were as follows; 1`) The housework time was affected by the number of family member the age of wife and income. And leisure time was affected by the work status and age of wife educational level and income. The satisfaction level of management were affected by the wife's work status and educational level and income. 2) The relation between housework time and time management strategies was negative And the relations between satisfaction level of management and time planning time management strategies were positive. 3) Among all variables affcting the satisfaction level of management the educational level income time planning time management strategies and leisure time had direct effect And the work status had indirect effect.

  • The purpose of this study was to empirically verify the influence of socio-demograghic and psychological variables and the way of housework management on the satisfaction of housework management and to provide the information of enhancing the quality of life. In conclusion, the employed wives had tried to select and perform the way of household work management reducing the overload by multiple role performance. And then, it was influenced by housewives' individual resources and family resources. In order to accomplish the higher level of satisfaction of household work management, they must be selected and performed the effective ways of household work management that they are able to use.

  • This study examined housework time management strategies between married female home-based workers and on-site workers, and found out the factors affecting the housework time management strategies. The data were collected from 165 married female home-based workers, and 292 married female on-site workers in Pusan and Kyungnam province, by self-administered questionnaire. Frequency distributions, Cronbachs alpha, t-tests, Pearsons correlations, and multiple regression analyses were conducted by SPSS/PC+. The major findings of this study were kas follows: 1) Married female home-based workers more used obtaining additional help and personal time reallocation than married female on-site workers. 2) For married female home-based workers, educational attainment and occupation were significant factors affecting housework time management strategies, and for married female on-site workers, employment hours per week and existence of elders/disability within the family were important variables.

취업주부가 지각한 가족응집력.적응력 및 가사노동수행방안 (A Study on the family cohesion.adaptability perceived by dual career housewife and household task performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of wives' demographic variables, the family cohesion and adaptability perceived by dual-career wives on household task performance. The subject of this study were 391 employed professional wives working in seoul. Using the questionnary, the data was obtained and the data was analysed by percentile, frequency, ANOVA, multiple regression. The results were as follows. 1) the family cohesion and adaptability scores showed a little higher than those of previous research. Number of children, age of the youngest child and family pattern were statistically significant in the family cohesion, number of children and family pattern were statistically significantly in the family adaptability. 2) The division of housework by family members was influenced by the family adaptability and family pattern. The family cohesion was a significant determinant of the division of housework by husband. The standard of housework was influenced by wives' age, the family cohesion and a housework time.

사무직 기혼여성 부부의 가사노동 분담 실태 및 영향요인 (Division of Household Labor between Married Female Clerical Workers and Their Husbands)

  • Given the dramatic increase in the percentage of married women working in clercial occupations and the inflexibility of work commitments for employees working in this domain, this paper investigates the division of household labor between married female clerical workers and their husbands, and their sources of external help. The total housework time of couples, the percent of total housework done by husbands, and a scale measuring the wife’s perception of the frequency with which her husband does specific household tasks are all used to measure the division of household labor between couples. Data for 143 couples were gathered from using structured questionares and the time dairies that included one weekday and one weekend day. The findings of this study are as follows; 1) The couples receive substantial support in housework from their mothers. 2) Wives spend an average of 23 hours and 26 minutes per week on household labor, whereas husbands spend an average 7 hours and 7 minutes per week. Husbands do an average of 20.9% of all housework done by the couples. Wives typically perceive that their husbands are not frequently participating in a variety of household tasks(mean = 2.88 on a 5-point Likert scale where 1=never and 5=always). 3) Multivariate analysis reveal that working hours is negatively related to while the presence of child under 6 years old is positively related to total housework. Time availability variables(e.g. working hours and the presence of child under 6 years old) and relative resource variables(e.g. the rate of wife’s income on that of husband) are related to the percent of total housework done by husbands. The sex-role attitude variables are related to the wife’s perceptions of the frequency with which her husband does specific household tasks.

조선시대 가사노동의 성별분업: 풍속화 분석을 중심으로 (The Gender Division of Housework in the Choson Period as Expressed in Genre Painting)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the gender division of housework in the Choson period. The gender division in the Choson period has been considered as discriminative because women had to remain indoors and were excluded in social works. But in fact the Confucian idea, which regulated the relation between women and men, emphasized the gender difference and not gender discrimination. Actually it can be seen in genre painting of Choson period that women and men worked complimentarily indoors. So this article intends to explore the possibilities of the new analysis of the traditional gender division of housework by reviewing the paintings. As the results indicate, men in the Choson period were involved in some housework, in contrast to the common idea that they maintained their authority by not participating housework. There is also some evidence that gender division benefited women to protect their own productive territory or to satisfy their needs. So it is suggested that gender division in the Choson period should be considered as a source of power as well as a disadvantage to women. Forth, the employed mens' reemployment decision was affected from their household income, expected income after retirement, pension ownership, and attitude toward retirement. From the findings, it can be concluded that the employed mens' age, economic status, and attitude toward retirement played a important role in the process of retirement and reemployment decision making.

노년기 주부의 가사노동 사회화 실태와 기대 (The Expectation and the Performance on the Housework Socialization of Aged Homemakers)

  • The purpose of the present study was to describe the expectation and the performance on the housework socialization of the age homemakers and to ivestigate their relationships to the demographic characteristics and the influences of other related factors. 344 homemakers who were older than 45 years and were living in Chunlabuk-do, 1990 were sampled for this study. The data were collected by questionnaire designed by the researcher and analyzed by using frequency, one-way ANOVA analysis of variance, t-test, and multiple regression analysis. The major findings were as follows ; 1) The aged homemakers' housework socialization score was higher than the average, The score of the expectation was higher than one of the present performance. Scores for the utilization of the household equipments and the utilization of employes's services were higer comparing to those for other variables of the performance and the expectation respectively. 2) There was the significant differences in the each of the present performance varibles related to th housework socialization among the following demographic varables ; Age of homemakers, years of marriage, education, residence area, types of housing, monthly income, and level of housework equipment possession. 3) There was the significant differences in the expectation on the housework socialazation among the following variables ; age of homemakers, years of marriage, education, monthly income, and types of housing. The significant differences were found in the utilization of grouped, the utilization of the commodity, the utilization of the household equipments as subvariables of housework socialization, among age of homemakers, years of marriage, and level of education, The significant differences were found in the utilization of employee's services among age of homemakers, types of family, and level of health. 4) The level of education and monthly income significantly influenced on the present performance of the house work socialization. Years of marriage, significantly influenced on the utilization of grouped, education on the utilization of the commodity.(the utilization of the producted materials) and the utilization of employee's services and monthly income on the utilization of the household equipments (the utilization of the household appliances, and equipments). The years of marriage and education significantly influenced on the expectation on the housework socialization in the order, Age of homemakers and years of marriage significantly influenced on the utilization of grouped, the utilization of the commodity, the utilization of employee's services and age of homemakers and monthly income on the utilization of the household equipments.

빅데이터로 살펴본 4차 산업혁명 시대의 가사노동과 돌봄: 플랫폼을 통한 가사서비스 양상 변화 (Housework and Care in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution through Big Data: Changes in the Aspects of Household Service based on the Platform)

  • 4차 산업혁명은 가정생활 깊숙이 들어와 가사노동과 돌봄의 방식을 변화시켰다. 4차 산업혁명 기술 변화로 초래된 가정의 변화는 가사노동 사회화 측면에서 두드러진다. 본 연구에서는 4차 산업혁명 시대에 가속화되고 있는 가사노동 사회화 현상을 "플랫폼"을 통한 "가사서비스" 양상 변화를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 4차 산업혁명 기술변화가 가속화되기 시작한 2015년 이후 전국일간지와 경제지를 대상으로 관련 신문기사를 추출하여 빅데이터 분석을 하였다. 빅데이터 분석결과는 4차 산업혁명 기술을 활용한 플랫폼 경제가 기업 비즈니스 차원뿐만 아니라 공공정책 차원에서 가사노동 사회화를 급속하게 확산시키고 있음을 보여준다. 플랫폼을 통한 가사서비스 지원이 기업의 새로운 사업 영역으로 성장하고 있으며, 공공정책 차원에서 맞벌이가정이나 한부모가정의 일⸱가정 양립 지원이나 감염병 대응과 관련하여 중요한 정책과제로 다뤄지고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명 기술로 인한 가사노동과 돌봄의 변화를 통해 향후 가사노동과 돌봄에 대한 가정, 시장, 국가의 역할과 과제를 성찰하는 계기를 제공했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

잠재계층분석을 통한 30대의 가사노동 참여 유형화 (Participation in Housework Among 30-Somethings: A Latent Class Analysis)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 세대적, 생애주기적으로 구분되는 특성을 보이는 30대의 가사노동 참여 유형을 분석함으로써 가사노동의 속성이 어떻게 변화하고 있는지를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 2020년 가족실태조사 자료에서 추출한 30대 남녀 2,687명의 가사노동 참여 여부를 유형화 지표로 잠재계층분석을 하였다. 분석결과, 전반적 비참여형(18.05%), 전반적 참여형(59.96%), 청소 집중형(21.99%)의 3개 집단으로 유형화되었다. 가사노동 참여 유형과 관련된 요인으로는 성별, 취업상태, 가족생애주기, 성역할 태도가 유의하였다. 여자는 남자보다 청소집중 참여형보다 전반적 비참여형에 속할 확률이 낮았으며, 전반적 참여형에 속할 확률이 높았다. 가족생애주기에 따라서는 형성기 이전인 경우에 청소 집중 참여형보다 전반적 비참여형에 속할 확률이 높았으며, 형성기, 확대기인 경우에는 청소 집중 참여형보다 전반적 참여형에 속할 확률이 높았다. 본 연구결과는 가사노동의 성불평등성이 젊은 세대인 30대에게도 유효함을 시사하며, 같은 세대 내에서도 가족생애주기에 따라 가사노동 참여 유형이 다르다는 것을 보여준다.
