A Study on Smart Medical Treatment System and Security (스마트 진료시스템과 보안에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the development of communications technology, it is now possible to be offered online from remote places. This kind of communications technology can be applied to the medical field. The medical treatment appointments in hospitals can be its typical example. But still, in most of hospitals, patient or guardian have to physically visit or call to the hospital to set up an appointment for the medical treatment. In addition, they have to wait in line in order to pay after receiving the medical treatment. The patient or guardian, after paying, receive a paper prescription and they go to a nearby pharmacy to take the medicines. They must wait in line again there in order to receive the medicine from the pharmacy. In this paper, we would like to suggest a smart medical treatment system in order to solve the problems discussed above. With this proposed system, the user will be able to make an appointment, make payments and receive medication quickly and easily without spending extra time. Also, there will be no need for paper prescriptions with this system. We discuss about the security of medical information for this proposed smart medical treatment system proposed.

  • The Multiple vital signs management system using Mobil phone is designed with Wireless sensor network and CDMA which are integrated to create a wide coverage to support various environments like inside and outside of hospital. Health signals from medical sensor node are analysed in cell phone first for real time signal analyses and then the abnormal vital signs are sent and save to hospital server for detail signal processing and doctor's diagnosis. We developed integrated vital access processor of sensor node to use selective medical interface(ECG, Blood pressure and sugar module) and control the self-organizing network of sensor nodes in a wireless sensor network. chronic disease such as heart disease and diabetes is able to check using graph view in mobile phone.

Molecular docking of bioactive compounds derived from Moringa oleifera with p53 protein in the apoptosis pathway of oral squamous cell carcinoma

  • Moringa oleifera is nowadays raising as the most preferred medicinal plant, as every part of the moringa plant has potential bioactive compounds which can be used as herbal medicines. Some bioactive compounds of M. oleifera possess potential anti-cancer properties which interact with the apoptosis protein p53 in cancer cell lines of oral squamous cell carcinoma. This research work focuses on the interaction among the selected bioactive compounds derived from M. oleifera with targeted apoptosis protein p53 from the apoptosis pathway to check whether the bioactive compound will induce apoptosis after the mutation in p53. To check the toxicity and drug-likeness of the selected bioactive compound derived from M. oleifera based on Lipinski's Rule of Five. Detailed analysis of the 3D structure of apoptosis protein p53. To analyze protein's active site by CASTp 3.0 server. Molecular docking and binding affinity were analyzed between protein p53 with selected bioactive compounds in order to find the most potential inhibitor against the target. This study shows the docking between the potential bioactive compounds with targeted apoptosis protein p53. Quercetin was the most potential bioactive compound whereas kaempferol shows poor affinity towards the targeted p53 protein in the apoptosis pathway. Thus, the objective of this research can provide an insight prediction towards M. oleifera derived bioactive compounds and target apoptosis protein p53 in the structural analysis for compound isolation and in-vivo experiments on the cancer cell line.

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG) and blood pressure (BP) are main vital signs which are the standards in most medical settings in assessing the most basic body functions. Multi parameters are desired in providing more information for health professionals in order to detect or monitor medical problems of patients more precisely. This study urges us to develop a robust wireless healthcare monitoring system which has multiple physiological signs measurements on real time that applicable to various environments which integrates wireless sensor network technology and code division multiple access (CDMA) network with extended feature of locally standalone diagnosis algorithms that implemented in tell phone. ECG signal and BP parameter of the patients are routinely be monitored, processed and analyzed in details at cell phone locally to produce useful medical information to ease patients for tracking and future reference purposes. Any suspected or unknown patterns of signals will be immediately forwarded to hospital server using cell phone for doctors' evaluation. This feature enables the patients always recognize the importance of self-health checking so that the preventive actions can be taken earlier through this analytic information provided by this monitoring system because "Prevention is better than Cure".

  • Adaptive services need to become as mobile as their users and be extended to take advantage of the constantly changing context in which they are accessed. Context-awareness is a technology to facilitate information acquisition and execution by supporting interoperability between users and devices based on users' context. The objective of this study is to develop a middleware fer dealing with context-awareness in ubiquitous computing. To achieve it, our middleware plays an important role in recognizing a moving node with mobility by using a bluetooth wireless communication technology as well as in executing an appropriate execution module according to the context acquired from a context server. In addition, for verifying the usefulness of the Proposed middleware, we develop an application system which Provides a music playing service based on context information by using our context middleware.

  • In this paper, we designed the RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) Emergency Medical Information System(REMIS). This REMIS offers the emergency patient's medical information using RFID and HL7(Health Level 7) to an emergency medical technician. In emergency situation as like coma, if the communication, from the patient's current location to the hospital, is possible, REMIS offer the medical information of the patient through REMIS server to an emergency medical technician. In the state of communication blocked, REMIS can offer the patient identification and the emergency information through RFID tag, which the patient wear, to an emergency medical technician. When this system was designed, the protection of the patient's medical information and their privacy was considered, and the HL7 was used to be compatible with another medical systems. Therefore, in this paper, REMIS was designed that it is always possible to offer the emergency patient's information to an emergency medical technician regardless of any communication status and to improve the emergency rescue process, effectively.

  • Mobile Telemedicine uses common technologies that provide a conduit for information exchange between physicians nurses and patients. In addition to patient records, medical professionals will obtain vital signs and other reference data through Ubiquitous Sensor networks(USN). In this paper about a design and implementation of RFID reader platform that received RFID tag information from patients tags, transmit the data to SBC(Single board computer) based on Intel PXA255 ARM CPU and SBC transmit the data to MySQL server in hospital using by Wireless Internet. his system that based on Embedded Linux is composed of RFID module, ARM processor, RS-232 interface, and Wireless LAN. This paper also provides a brief overview and concept of RFID reader, and proposes the design and implementations of the RFID reader platform used QT and MySQL based on Embedded Linux.

  • We computerized outpatient's prescription using personal computer and local area network(LAN). The information and history of patient which is stored in the HOST computer is transfered to the local file server via emulatort & LAN. Then, the computerized outpatient's prescription which is made in each examination room is transfered to the admission of discharge office and pharmacy via LAN. In the admission of discharge office, drug charge is automatically calculated, and the prescription and envelope is printed out automatically in the pharmacy. Using this system, the patient takes the drug faster than before, eventually we improve medical service. Also, this system manage hospital works and administration effectively.

  • The Internet of Things(IoT) market is expected to grow from 15.5billion to 75.4 billion by 2015-2025. As the number of IoT devices increases, the amount of data that is sent to the cloud is increasing. Today's Cloud Computing models are not suited to handle the vast amount of data generated by IoT devices. In this paper, we propose a Cooperation Coordinator System that reduces server load and improved real-time processing capability under specific circumstances by using Band-Cloud. The cooperation coordinator system dynamically forms the cloud when cooperation is needed between mobile devices located near. It is called Band-Cloud. Band-Cloud provides services entrusted by Central Cloud. This paper describes the proposed system and shows the cooperation process using the Android-based mobile devices and Wi-Fi Direct technology. Such a system can be applied to cases where real-time processing is required in a narrow area such as a hospital ward or a school classroom.

  • A real-time measurement and control system was developed, This system is used for nurses at hospitals to check the residual quantity and changing time of Ringer's solution in nurses' room. Load Cell is utilized as a sensor to check the residual quantity of Ringer's solution, This Load Cell detects the physical changes of Ringer's solution and transfers electronic signal to the amplifier. Amplified analog signal is converted into digital signal by NO converter. Developed Embedded system, which computes these data with microprocess(8052) then makes it possible to monitor the residual quantity of Ringer's solution real-time on a server computer.
