This essay explores the problems with applying the concept of "original form" to natural heritage when it is based on originality and diachronic, historical period. It also suggests an alternative perception that the concept of "original form" can be considered based upon "integrity". First, the conceptual framework for applying the concept of "original form" falls into three types: one that centers on the time point at which heritage originated; another that respects the diachronic characteristics of the concept of "original form"; and the last that bases original form on a particular time after the heritage originated. Second, the national policy for the conservation of natural monuments and scenic sites stayed at the level of consulting the Decree on the Preservation of Treasures, Historical Remains, Scenic Sites, and Natural Monuments of Joseon, under Japanese colonial rule. And after the legal framework was established through enacting and proclaiming of the Cultural Heritage Protection Act in 1962, 564 cases have been designated as natural monuments. Third, the natural conservation movement, the first national policy for natural heritage, was initiated from the heritage field, but the Environment Ministry subsumed all nature-related policies and ever since the heritage agency (Cultural Heritage Administration) has implemented only heritage policies regarding "cultural" heritage. The present state of the coexisting policies about the natural heritage by the Environment Ministry and the Cultural Heritage Administration resulted in leading the public confused about official terms and main policy agency of natural heritage. Fourth, the difficulty of applying the concept of "original form" to natural heritage stems from the fact that natural heritage is inherently distinct from cultural heritage, which is placed at the center of the heritage policies implemented by the heritage agency. In addition, natural heritage, similarly distinct from the overall natural environment, has evolved in a way that incorporates human culture and thus diversely includes characteristics of originality, diachrony, and historical period. Under these circumstances, an incorporative, professional approach is required rather than independent approaches for each type of natural heritage. In conclusion, this essay suggests that issues related to the restoration of original conditions of natural heritage should be resolved through the application of the "integrity" concept by restoring "the characteristics of an object or a place that imbue it with meaning and value," with consideration given to efforts for alleviating logical contradictions within the concept of "original form" through the preparation of standards and guidelines for the restoration of original condition.

The film visualized the historical meaning without describing the background of the times in detail and aimed to express the conflicts and worries between the god, a transcendental existence, with humans, which are marginal beings, within the conflicting structure among humans. In addition, this study analyzed the sequence of the scenes in , which reconstructs identity and historical cases and religious values to observe the meaning and characteristics and closely analyze the general meaning pursued by the film. discussed the issues of trauma that individuals, regions, and nations confront as a representation and interpretation of the trauma connoted in the film, and consideration can be provided about the implication concerning the situation and context in South Korea. Furthermore, the film placidly discusses the growth and agony in humans and the society without expressing it excessively, so it will be a valuable research result to inspire the trend of creating films that incorporate new imaging technology and original visualization techniques.
The history of The Korean Buddhist music dates back to as early as the 2nd year of Goguryeo King Sosoorim's reign (372) when Buddhism was introduced to the land for the first time and should cover the entire development to this date, which spans over 1,600 years. The extensive scope of research is overwhelming and research efforts are limited at best. Against this backdrop, this study aims to examine how the historical development of The Korean Buddhist music has unfolded over such a long period of time and to understand how the Buddhist music is supposed to further develop in this land in and after the 21st century. Since the Three Kingdoms period, followed by Goryeo and Joseon Dynasty period, Japanese colonial period, and to this date, the history of the Buddhist music has unfolded in line with the 'ups and downs of the history of Buddhism'. The Buddhist music is characterized by various development paths based on historical peculiarities over different periods, including protection by the royal family during the Three Kingdoms period, aspect of Buddhist music during the Goryeo Dynasty period, policy to worship Confucianism and suppress Buddhism during the Joseon Dynasty period, harsh repression of Buddhism during the Japanese colonial period, and the present Buddhist music seeking new ways of proliferating Buddhism among the public, which requires an effort to understand the different characteristics of different periods by identifying key perspectives and tasks of Buddhist music in different periods. In this vein, this article includes not only the history of 'Beompae(Buddhist Chant)', a collective term for Buddhist music in a narrow sense but also all Buddhist music characterized by with Buddhism that is communicated in this land and extends its coverage even to Chanbulga(Buddhist hymn)讚佛歌 music created in and after the 20th century. It also examines the historical development of Buddhism related music in this land. Another task of this article is to understand the Myeongching-gagok 名稱歌曲 sung by monks in the early Joseon Dynasty period, music created for public mission work during the Joseon Dynasty period, the meaning of the existence of 'Hwacheong' 和請, and the traces of Buddhist music existing in the music of the Joseon Dynasty period.

We believe, 'Dokdo is clearly an inherent territory of Korea, in the light of geographical and historical facts', This paper aims to discuss Japanese multidimensional approach on the Issues of Dokdo(Takeshima) in the context of Territory Education. We considered the matter from various angles that supported by the ministry of Foreign affairs and the ministry of Education in national scale, as well as shimane prefecture government and municipality scale. Therefore, It is likely that the approach of territory education on Dokdo in Japan is variable and potential, and is temporary state of condensation, depends on Korea-Japan's political, economical, social, and international conditions. More studies of the new approach must be done for the new implications of Territory Education that embraces all meanings and events according to the disposition of neighbouring condition of Dokdo in world context, keeping out emotional and nationalist sympathies. The result of consideration in this paper are as follows. First, Territory Education in japan was focused on geography, history, Civil, Social Studies, compared with focusing on History in Korea. Second, It is centered on "korea is illegally occupying Dokdo, against which Japan has been consistently making strong protests" rather than simple historical approach. Thirdly, Their approaches seek to be succeeded the identity and importance of Territory Education to next generation rather than the present solving problem.

Modernization of Korea had begun with the reformation of the Kab-o Reform in 1894, which the government had designed after the protectorate treaty with Japan in 1876. It had affected drastic changes on the formation and framework of a Han-bok by government and the main changes is found in creating new style of Gae-ryang Han-bok. During 1980's, the peoples were interested in traditional cultural heritage, and 'the campaign of wearing Woo-Ri Ot' prevailed in Korea to instill the radical sprit of Korean. A Han-bok, which was made at this time, has called a Saeng-hwal Han-bok. The purposes of this study are to defue the the words that are Han-bok, Gae-ryang Han-bok and Saeng-hwal Han-bok of meaning and characteristic based on the previous studies and historical materials and present a unified and historical opinion about Han-bok to the academic world and industry of Han-bok by the consideration. Han-bok is a traditional costume with a long skirt and long breast-tie based on the later Cho-sun and is emphasized a virtue and manner on it. Gae-ryang Han-bok is an improved Han-bok that is include with a Tong-Chima and Jeogori for making a movement and function better. Saeng-hwal Han-bok is originated by the movement of wearing Woo-ri Ot in 1984, is interpreted the traditional Korean beauty from the modem view and is a practice Han-bok for popularizing intodaily life. After investigating the 33 of previous studies, the characteristics and transitions of Han-bok are followed. First, the reason of fail about the reform of dress is a loss of traditional beauty. Second, the yes or no of the establishment of law about the reform of dress, it influenced on a reforming or wearing speed of costume. Third, after 8.15, a modem girl and girl student can not impact on a system of Korean women anymore because, the number of the group that means a high educated and active woman, was growing. So, the elevation of women's education matured the system of Korean women's costume. forth, western style clothes are popularized after the Korean War and it is set down in the system of Korean women's dress.
The 1920s and 1930s ushered in "the golden age" of Chinese comics when the comics flourished. Satirical cartoons in modern Chinese comics were popular due to emotional instability and war caused by foreign powers. Among many popular comics, this paper analyzes in the 1920s and in the 1930s which were made into films and dramas. Chapter Two shows that China in the Republican era of China expanded its consumer culture into some sectors like films, novels, magazines and fashion in the 1920s and 1930s. However, more than any other things, this chapter considers from the historical perspective "the golden age" of comics including comic magazine in the 1930s and a history of comic magazines that gained popularity with conventional and common story. Chapter Three explains that social satire cartoons were in vogue since the May Fourth Movement and anti-imperialistic and semi-feudalistic stories in the 1920s were realized in life. It also says that comics that describes the negative sides of its society were popular. Ye QianYu, a cartoonist, portrayed many facets of Shanghai through : the daily life of the middle and lower classes, bureaucratic corruption and sympathy for the working class. drawn by Zhang LePing describes the unfair social system between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat and the gap between the rich and poor through the main character, the powerless and poor orphan. and lampooned the reality of its time in an objective, witty and humorous way in terms of ethics and economy respectively. Since Scenic Sites, heritages to protect the value of landscapes, include valleys and mountains, the cultural heritage protection zones and historical and cultural environments preservation districts are designated extensively. So the landscape protection effects of the designation of scenic sites should be examined. Accordingly, the purpose of this research is to present the methods of efficient institution of district for landscape protection of scenic sites. As the research subject, Cheongamjeong Pavilion and Seokcheongyegok Valley in Bonghwa (Scenic Site No. 60), which has the highest designation rate, was selected. The results of this research using the cumulative visibility technique of GIS are as follows. First, the method of selecting the viewpoint by preparing the reverse cumulative visibility from important landscape resources of the valley was presented. The reverse cumulative visibility can be utilized for rational selection of the viewpoint with regard to scenic sites. Second, the landscape analysis method in consideration of human viewing angle and the visibility of the background of landscape resources was developed. Third, the hierarchical landscape protection method of scenic sites utilizing cumulative visibility was presented. Fourth, it was established through on-site inspections that the method of institution of district is the practical method.
Volcanic eruptions alone may lead to serious natural disasters, but the associated release of water from a caldera lake may be equally damaging. There is both historical and geological evidence of the past eruptions of Mt. Baekdusan, and the volcano, which has not erupted for over 100 years, has recently shown signs of reawakening. Action is required if we are to limit the social, political, cultural, and economic damage of any future eruption. This study aims to identify the area that would be inundated following a volcanic flood from the Cheon-Ji caldera lake that lies within Mt. Baekdusan. A scenario-based numerical analysis was performed to generate a flood hydrograph, and the parameters required were selected following a consideration of historical records from other volcanoes. The amount of water at the outer rim as a function of time was used as an upper boundary condition for the downstream routing process for a period of 10 days. Data from the USGS were used to generate a DEM with a resolution of 100 m, and remotely sensed satellite data from the moderate-resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) were used to show land cover and use. The simulation was generated using the software FLO-2D and was superposed on the remotely sensed map. The results show that the inundation area would cover about 80% of the urban area near Erdaobaihezhen assuming a 10 m/hr collapse rate, and 98% of the area would be flooded assuming a 100 m/hr collapse rate.
The objective of the study is to develop a reservoir optimal operation model and to suggest the appropriate amount of additional water supply and optimal operation rule. The model uses multiple objective function and a global search method, SCE-UA method. The objective function is set up to maintain the storage at target level, to satisfy the water demand, and to maximize the hydropower product. To evaluate the model's applicability, the model was applied for allocating the optimal water depending on storage level changes of Seomjin dam. The results comparing optimal operation and historical data showed that hydropower product increased from $-2.29\%$ to $14.51\%$, $-5.94\%$ to $3.98\%$, and $-0.43\%$ to $6.35\%$ with varying target levels in wet, dry, and normal period, respectively. Also, The model was applied for assessing water supply capacity of Seomjin dam to satisfy increasing water demand. The dam was operated by the model on consideration of downstream flow as 0.17, 0.50, 0.70, 1.0, 1.5, and $3.0\;m^3/sec$. The results showed that in case of operating the dam with downstream flow less than $0.70\;m^3/sec$ and with target water level lower than 194.0 m, hydropower product was more than the historical operation data and existing amount of water supply was less influenced.
Since the traditional pattern mining methods only probe unspecified moving patterns that seem to satisfy users' requests among diverse patterns within the limited scopes of time and space, they are not applicable to problems involving the mining of optimal moving patterns, which contain complex time and space constraints, such as 1) searching the optimal path between two specific points, and 2) scheduling a path within the specified time. Therefore, in this paper, we illustrate some problems on mining the optimal moving patterns with complex time and space constraints from a vast set of historical data of numerous moving objects, and suggest a new moving pattern mining method that can be used to search patterns of an optimal moving path as a location-based service. The proposed method, which determines the optimal path(most frequently used path) using pattern frequency retrieved from historical data of moving objects between two specific points, can efficiently carry out pattern mining tasks using by space generalization at the minimum level on the moving object's location attribute in consideration of topological relationship between the object's location and spatial scope. Testing the efficiency of this algorithm was done by comparing the operation processing time with Dijkstra algorithm and $A^*$ algorithm which are generally used for searching the optimal path. As a result, although there were some differences according to heuristic weight on $A^*$ algorithm, it showed that the proposed method is more efficient than the other methods mentioned.
