  • The notion of central Hilbert algebras and central deductive systems is introduced, and related properties are investigated. We show that the central part of a Hilbert algebra is a deductive system. Conditions for a subset of a Hilbert algebra to be a deductive system are given. Conditions for a subalgebra of a Hilbert algebra to be a deductive system are provided.

  • We give a characterization of a deductive system. We introduce the concept of maximal deductive systems and show that every bounded Hilbert algebra with at least two elements contains at least one maximal deductive system. Moreover, we introduce the notion of radical and semisimple in a Hilbert algebra and prove that if H is a bounded Hilbert algebra in which every element is an involution, then H is semisimple.

  • We prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of generalized Jensen's equations in Banach modules over a unital $C^{\ast}$-algebra. It is applied to show the stability of generalized Jensen's equations in a Hilbert module over a unital $C^{\ast}$-algebra. Moreover, we prove the stability of linear operators in a Hilbert module over a unital $C^{\ast}$-algebra.

  • We prove the stability of generalized Jensen's equations in a Hilbert module over a unital $C^*$-algebra. This is applied to show the stability of a projection, a unitary operator, a self-adjoint operator, a normal operator, and an invertible operator in a Hilbert module over a unital $C^*$-algebra.

  • Given operators X and Y acting on a Hilbert space H, an interpolating operator is a bounded operator A such that AX = Y. An interpolating operator for n-operators satisfies the equation AX$\sub$i/=Y$\sub$i/, for i=1,2, ‥‥, R. In this article, we investigate Hilbert-Schmidt interpolation for operators in tridiagonal algebras.

  • In [9], the authors determine an infinite class of non-unimodal Gorenstein sequence, which includes the example $$\bar{h}_1\text{ = (1, 125, 95, 77, 71, 77, 95, 125, 1)}$$. They raise a question whether there is a Gorenstein algebra with Hilbert function $$\bar{h}_2\text{= (1, 125, 95, 77, 70, 77, 95, 125, 1)}$$, which has remained an open question. In this paper, we prove that there is no Gorenstein algebra with Hilbert function $\bar{h}_2$.
