Recently, oxide semi-conductor materials have been investigated as promising candidates replacing a-Si:H and poly-Si semiconductor because they have some advantages of a room-temperature process, low-cost, high performance and various applications in flexible and transparent electronics. Particularly, amorphous indium-gallium-zinc-oxide (a-IGZO) is an interesting semiconductor material for use in flexible thin film transistor (TFT) fabrication due to the high carrier mobility and low deposition temperatures. In this work, we demonstrated improvement of flexibility in IGZO TFTs, which were fabricated on polyimide (PI) substrate. At first, a thin poly-4vinyl phenol (PVP) layer was spin coated on PI substrate for making a smooth surface up to 0.3 nm, which was required to form high quality active layer. Then, Ni gate electrode of 100 nm was deposited on the bare PVP layer by e-beam evaporator using a shadow mask. The PVP and $Al_2O_3$ layers with different thicknesses were used for organic/inorganic multi gate dielectric, which were formed by spin coater and atomic layer deposition (ALD), respectively, at $200^{\circ}C$. 70 nm IGZO semiconductor layer and 70 nm Al source/drain electrodes were respectively deposited by RF magnetron sputter and thermal evaporator using shadow masks. Then, IGZO layer was annealed on a hotplate at $200^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour. Standard electrical characteristics of transistors were measured by a semiconductor parameter analyzer at room temperature in the dark and performance of devices then was also evaluated under static and dynamic mechanical deformation. The IGZO TFTs incorporating hybrid gate dielectrics showed a high flexibility compared to the device with single structural gate dielectrics. The effects of mechanical deformation on the TFT characteristics will be discussed in detail.
In order to study the effect of substituted $Al^{3+}$ of goethite, which was collected from Shinpyeongli in Cheju Island, we used X-ray diffractometer and Mossbauer spectrometer. In X-ray diffraction analysis, the X-ray diffraction peaks of goethite are not detected due to the high substituted Al contents of goethite. Isomer shifts indicated that the valence of Fe ions is almost oxidized trivalent of high spin state. It is believed that the contents of substituted diamagnetic $Al^{3+}$ for $Fe^{3+}$ is about 15.5 mol%. It seems that Neel temperature and saturated magnetic hyperfine field of the clay goethite are about 250 K and 498 kOe, respectively. For the temperature lower than Neel temperature, quadrupole splittings of the clay goethite are greatly influenced by $Al^{3+}$ substitution. It is believed that the high decrease of Neel temperature and magnetic hyperfine field of the clay goethite results from the magnetic dilution produced by substituting the diamagnetic $Al^{3+}$/TEX> for $Fe^{3+}$.
Passivating contacts are a promising technology for achieving high efficiency Si solar cells by reducing direct metal/Si contact. Among them, a polysilicon (poly-Si) based passivating contact solar cells achieve high passivation quality through a tunnel oxide (SiOx) and poly-Si. In poly-Si/SiOx based solar cells, the passivation quality depends on the amount of dopant in-diffused into the bulk-Si. Therefore, our study fabricated cells by inserting silicon oxide (SiO2) as a doping barrier before doping and analyzed the barrier effect of SiO2. In the experiments, p+ poly-Si was formed using spin on dopant (SOD) method, and samples ware fabricated by controlling formation conditions such as existence of doping barrier and poly-Si thickness. Completed samples were measured using quasi steady state photoconductance (QSSPC). Based on these results, it was confirmed that possibility of achieving high Voc by inserting a doping barrier even with thin poly-Si. In conclusion, an improvement in implied Voc of up to approximately 20 mV was achieved compared to results with thicker poly-Si results.

This paper presents methods and results of both flight test examining roll angle estimation performance of slowly rolling munition forced to spin in the air, and fabricating a replica of guided munition. Guided munition was deployed from multi rotor type UAV mother ship whose altitude and velocity was conveyed to it as initial state. Flight test scenario is composed of a sequence of munition drop(deployment), munition spin, roll angle estimation and stabilization. Munition was deployed from mother ship at around 200m high with horizontal velocity of 15m/s, and was made spun using internal reaction wheel. Performance analysis on roll angle estimation is provided in comparison with commercial aerospace graded GPS/INS. Moreover, several mechanisms that rotates munition using reaction wheel, and actual product that realizes one of them are introduced.
Vanadium-incorporated aluminophosphate microporous molecular sieve VH-SAPO-42 has been studied by electron spin resonance(ESR) and electron spin-echo modulation (ESEM) spectroscopies to determine the vanadium location and interaction with various adsorbate molecules. The results are interpreted in terms of V(IV) ion location and coordination geometry. Assynthesized VH-SAPO-42 contains only vanadyl species with distorted octahedral or trigonal bipyramidal coordination. Vanadium incorporated into H-SAPO-42 occupied extra-framework site. After calcinations in $O_2$ and exposure to moisture, only species A is observed with reduced intensities. Species A is identified as a $VO(H_2O)_2^{2+}$ complex coordinated to three framework oxygen atoms bonded to aluminum. When hydrated VH-SAPO-42 is dehydrated at elevated temperature by calcination, species A loses its water ligand and transforms to $VO^{2+}$ ions coordinated to three framework oxygens (species B). Species B reduces its intensities significantly after treatment with $O_2$ at high temperature, thus suggesting oxidation of $V^{4+}$ to $V^{5+}$. When dehydrated VH-SAPO-42 makes contact with $D_2O$ at room temperature, the ESR signal of species A is regained. The species is assumed as a $VO(O_f)_3(D_2O)_2$ by considering three framework oxygens. Adsorption of deuterated methanol on dehydrated VH-SAPO-42 results in another new vanadium species D, which is identified as a $VO(CD_3OH)_2$ complex. When deuterated ethylene is adsorbed on dehydrated VH-SAPO-42, another new vanadium species E identified as a $VO(C_2D_4)^{2+}$, is observed. Possible coordination geometries of these various complexes are discussed.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the utility of 3-D images by comparing and analyzing reconstructed 3-D images from fast spin echo images of MRI cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) images using maximum intensity projection (MIP) with the subtraction images derived from dynamic tests of magnetic resonance mammography. The study targeted 20 patients histologically diagnosed with pancreaticobiliary duct disease and 20 patients showing pancreaticobiliary duct diseases, where dynamic breast MR (magnetic resonance) images, fast spin echo imaged of pancreaticobiliary duct, and 3-D reconstitution images using a 1.5T MR scanner and 3.0T MR scanner were taken. As a result of the study, the signal-to-noise ratio in the subtracted breast image before and after administering the contrast agent and in the reconstructed 3-D breast image showed a high ratio in the reconstructed image of lesional tissue, relevant tissue, and fat tissue. However, no statistically meaningful differences were found in the contrast-to-noise ratio of the two images. In the case of the MRCP image, no differences were found in the ratios of the fast spin echo image and reconstructed 3-D image.
The magnetic easy axis of the ferromagnetic layer for the dual-type GMR-SV (giant magnetoresistance-spin valve) having NiFe/Cu/NiFe/IrMn/NiFe/Cu/NiFe multuilayer structure controlled by the post annealing treatment. The magnetoresistive curves of a dual-type IrMn based GMR-SV depending on the direction of the magnetic easy axis of the free and the pinned layers are measured by the different angles for the applied fields. By investigating the switching process of magnetization for an arbitrary measuring direction, the optimum annealing temperature having a steady and isotropy magnetic sensitivity of 2.0 %/Oe was $105^{\circ}C$. This result suggests that the in-plane orthogonal magnetization for the dual-type GMR-SV film can be used by a high sensitive biosensor.
The chemical behavior of the trivalent lanthanide$(Pr^{3+}, Eu^{3+}, Gd^{3+} 그리고 Yb^{3+})$complexes with organo-ligand (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedione) has been investigated by the use of UV/Vis-spectrophotometric, magnetics, and electrochemical method. The two or three energy absorption bands are observed by the spectra of these complexes. The magnetitude of crystal field splitting energy, the spin pairing energy and bond stength was obtained from the spectra of the complexes. These are found to be localization, low-spin (or high-spin state, and strong bonding strength. The magnetic dipole moment are found to be diamagnetic complexes (or paramagnetic). The electrochemical behavior of complexes was observed by the use of cyclic voltammetry in aprotic media. These reduction peaks were irreversible two and three step reduction processes by electron transfer.

The high cost of crystalline silicon solar cells has been considered as one of the major obstacles to their terrestrial applications. Spin on doping (SOD) is presented as a useful process for the manufacturing of low cost solar cells. Phosphorus (P509) was used as an n-type emitters of solar cells. N-type emitters were formed on p-type EFG ribbon Si wafers by using a SOD at different spin speed (1,000~4,000 rpm), diffusion temperatures ($800^{\circ}C{\sim}950^{\circ}C$), and diffusion time (5~30 min) in $N_2+O_2$ atmosphere. With optimum condition, we were able to achieve cell efficiency of 14.1%.

The Rare Isotope Science Project was launched in 2011 in Korea toward constructing the Rare isotope Accelerator complex for ON line experiments (RAON). RAON will house several experimental systems, including the Muon Spin Rotation/Relaxation/Resonance (μSR) facility in High Energy Experimental Building B. This facility will use 600-MeV protons with a maximum current of 660 pμA and beam power of 400 kW. The key μSR features will facilitate projects related to condensed-matter and nuclear physics. Typical experiments require a few million surface muons fully spin-polarized opposite to their momentum for application to small samples. Here, we describe the design of a muon transport beam line for delivering the requisite muon numbers and the electromagnetic-component specifications in the μSR facility. We determine the beam-line configuration via beam-optics calculations and the transmission efficiency via single-particle tracking simulations. The electromagnet properties, including fringe field effects, are applied for each component in the calculations. The designed surface-muon beamline is 17.3 m long, consisting of 2 solenoids, 2 dipoles affording 70° deflection, 9 quadrupoles, and a Wien filter to eliminate contaminant positrons. The average incident-muon flux and spin rotation angle are estimated as 5.2 × 106 μ+/s and 45°, respectively.
