A Design of an Interpolation Algorithm using the Adaptive Pseudomedian Filter (적응형 pseudomedian 필터를 이용한 보간 알고리즘의 설계)

  • Many techniques have been proposed for digital image enlargement, which use spatially neighbored pixels information in a still image. In this paper, we propose the digital image interpolation method that improves edge characteristics by selectively transposing the sub-windows of pseudomedian filter, which results in relatively better performance than others. We have simulated the proposed algorithm using Visual C++ and verified performance of the algorithm by PSNR(Peak signal Noise Ratio) and edge characteristics. Finally, we have designed the adaptive pseudomedian by using synopsys VHDL(Very high speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language).

Development of an Operating Software for the Manufacturing Cell of a Model Plant (제조 셀 모델 플랜트의 운영 소프트웨어의 개발)

  • This paper developed an operating software for the manufacturing cell of a model plant. The model plant, which was manufactured by Fishertechnik, consists of an assembly cell, a machining cell, and supplementary material handling equipments. Each I/O module of the model plant communicates with the INTERBUS controller devices via High-level Language Interface(HLI). The machining center has two machining cells, which consists of 4 machines respectively, two 3-axis portal transporters, and a rail guided vehicle(RGV). The Petri-Net was used to investigate the dynamics of each machining cell, e.g., the relation of material handling equipments and machines. The operating software was analyzed and designed by Object Oriented Technique. The software was implemented using Delphi 3.0 under Windows 95/NT operating system.

  • In this paper we propose a controllable interrupt timer for haptic control system. haptic control system whihc was divided ito two processes as virtual environment(VE) manager and haptic controller. The VE manager displays the 3D graphic scene at low update rates 25Hz and haptic controller controls the haptic display at high update rates 1000Hz. To archive the accurate update rate we have imple-mented a timer so called "AaccTimer" based on Windows multimedia functions, The proposed "Acc Timer" for haptic control system has been imple- mented in a personal computer with a 6-DOF haptic interface. Experimental results show that our system is robust with respect to tolerances in the control rates and also through the accurate control rate the operator can always feel a stable force.feel a stable force.

  • 마트, 식당, 도서관 등 우리 주변 많은 곳에서 바코드가 사용되고 있다. 바코드는 주로 ISBN, Code128, Code39 등의 형식이 쓰이는데 그중 Code 128은 ASCII Code를 기반으로 하기 때문에 ASCII Code 0번부터 32번까지의 제어 문자를 바코드에 담을 수 있다. 제어 문자는 본래 프린터 또는 통신 접속구 등 주변 장치에 정보를 전달하기 위하여 사용되는 문자를 뜻하지만 Windows상에서 입력될 시 전혀 다른 역할을 한다. 주로 바코드 기기에서 입력 값을 검증하지 않으므로 이를 이용해 제어 문자를 담은 바코드를 태깅해 명령 프롬포트를 열고 명령을 실행할 수 있다. 또한 대부분의 바코드 인식 프로그램이 DB를 사용하고, 보안이 다른 프로그램들에 비해 취약하다는 점에서 SQL Injection 공격 가능성을 제시한다.

  • This paper presents a maintenance application for power transformer. High quality maintenance and accurate diagnosis are essential for all transformers, especially for older ones. The developed application provides maintenance guides for dry type transformer and oil-filled transformer to prevent any malfunctions and to lengthen the lifetime of transformers. Based on windows application, TTS (text to speech) and 3D graphics technologies have been used to enhance the user friendly interface. Developed application is helpful for both expert and novice operators at substation.

  • Recently, the system of the industry demands quick and accurate measurement for the mass production and high quality. Also, we need to improve the accuracy to decrease the failure rate in automatic assembly processing and improve the confidence, durability and the compatibility of parts. To answer this tendency and requirement, we have developed many accrate measuring instruments and methods. In this paper, we develop the whidows program using the DSP board(TMS320C25) which is used the data acquisition and the Visual C $^{++}$ , a windows programming language. We perform the measurement, analysis and output process in GUI(Graphic User Interface)environment. By using system, we will save the time required for the hand-worked measurement and avoid the useless iterative measurement. Furthermore, we expect to improve the productivity through automotive quality control in manufacturing process.s.

  • The efficiency of active sonar that is used underwater observation equipment is important for obtain the information of topography and trace for the objects. Sound wave transmitted from sonar are distorted by acoustic window which is to protect sonar. Making various sonar dome is impossible for experiment, because consumed unnecessary time and expense. So, the purpose of this study is to simulate and analyze the acoustic window propagated sound wave from sonar for designing model reduced insertion loss. Simulation is performed by transient analysis and fluid-structure interaction analysis. As a result, this study will give a opportunity for efficient design of sonar dome without high cost and time consumption.

  • Change detection is widely used taxation, military fields, etc. In general, global change detection methods using image difference method, etc, are used in low resolution images and local change detection methods using floating windows, etc, are used in high resolution images. But, these methods have disadvantages in practical use and automatic method for changed area detection should be developed. In this research, characteristics of Kompsat images are reviewed in perspective of change detection and various change detection method applicable to are tested.

  • This study developed the window based power flow analysis software for distribution system. This system was developed by using Visual C++ 6.0 in Microsoft Windows 98 environment; therefore, it utilized many advantages of window based programming for providing user-friendly interface. The backward/forward sweep algorithm is implemented in this software for power flow analysis. Especially, this software includes the newly developed classes of complex function, matrix function, and power flow calculation procedure, so it has high flexibility for enhancement and modifications.

  • In this paper, the Ni-Co alloy was used for thermal stability estimation comparison with Ni structure. The proposed Ni/Ni-Co structure exhibited wider range of rapid thermal process windows, lower sheet resistance in spite of high temperature annealing up to $700^{\circ}C$ for 30 min, more uniform interface via FE-SEM analysis, NiSi phase peak. Therefore, The proposed Ni/Ni-Co structure is highly promising for highly thermal immune Ni-silicide for nano-scale MOSFET technology.
