  • Waterprooping Method with sheet need to study technology and multilateral verification considering the arctic conditions as low temperature and humidity, which is the result only considered of material aspects without environmental condition in construction But there are no measures up until now. To solve this problem by using high frequency induction heating method developed waterproof sheets, cold (5 ℃ or less) can be applied in a more stable environment, water-resistant materials and construction methods were studied for development. The results of the test showed that high frequency induction heating method is effective for usability in low temperature condition and securement of proper quality than existing Waterprooping Method with sheet need.

  • The low foamed high strengthen styrofoam samples made by dielectric heating are discussed. We used the oscillator which have the frequency of 13.6MHz and the Power of 7kW. 3 times expanded beads by steaming method were used in our foam-molding test. Internal fusion properties and density of internal structure were improved by dielectric foaming process. At the temperature of 105-110$^{\circ}C$, the internal fusion property was maximally improved.

CVD 그래핀을 이용한 저저항 투명면상발열 시스템 (Low-resistance Transparent Plane Heating System using CVD Graphene)

  • 높은 CVD 그래핀저항으로 인한 낮은 발열효과를 해결하기 위해 다층으로 그래핀을 적층하여, 저저항의 광학특성이 우수한 투명 면상 발열시스템을 구현하였다. 제작한 CVD 그래핀의 발열필름으로 $300{\times}400{\times}5mm$ 발열체를 제작하고, 효율적인 전력을 구동하기 위해 PWM 제어를 통한 회로를 구성하여 시스템을 구현하였다. 발열체로 사용한 4층의 CVD 그래핀 필름의 평균 면 저항 측정값은 $85.5{\Omega}/sq$이다. 따라서 저 저항의 CVD 그래핀의 구현 방법으로 열전사의 적층의 방법은 타당하다. 발열시험 결과, CVD 그래핀을 이용한 저저항 투명 면상 발열 시스템의 평균 발열상승은 $10^{\circ}C/min$ 이고, 86.44%의 CVD 그래핀 필름의 광투과율을 갖음을 보여준다. 따라서 제시한 발열 시스템은 대형창 유리 및 자동차 발열유리로서 적용가능하다.

유동저항 감소유체를 운반유체로 한 파라핀 슬러리의 대류 열전달에 관한 연구 (Convective Heat Transfer of a Paraffin Slurry in a Drag Reducing Carrier Fluid)

  • Aqueous polymer solutions are known to have small pressure reduction. Paraffin slurries are known to have high thermal capacity. Paraffin particles are mixed into an aqueous polymer solution to make a new heat transfer fluid having high thermal capacity but low pressure reduction. The heat transfer characteristics of the new slurry was tested in a circular tube having a constant heat transfer boundary condition. The new slurry was found to have high Nusselt numbers as well as high thermal capacity and low pressure reduction in the laminar flow. The trends of the Nusselt numbers along the heating test section were studied for various heating conditions.

  • Aluminum alloys have high potential for weight reduction in automotive and other applications. But aluminum alloys have relatively low tubular hydroformability which can be enhanced by conducting the hydroforming at elevated temperatures. Hot working processes are commonly used in bulk forming such as forging and rolling, but still is rare in sheet metal forming like hydroforming. In this study hydroforming test at elevated temperatures is performed by special designed induction heating system to investigate the hydroformability of aluminum alloys. The high temperature formability characteristrics are obtained by 1?fitting forming test and circular bulging test and the effects of the process parameters such as feeding amount, internal pressure and temperatures on the tubular forming limits are mainly investigated.

대공간의 바닥 복사 난방 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Application of Radiant Floor Heating in Large Space)

  • This paper addresses the indoor air quality when radiant floor heating is applied in large space. Radiant heat exchange between surfaces depends on the orientation and the temperature of the surfaces. Also, the temperature and the radiant characteristic of the wall and the roof that face the floor have great influence on the indoor air environment due to the largeness of the wall and the roof in large spaces. In this study, we simulate a test-cell(25X20X10) using a ies YE And using a CFD(microflo in VE), an indoor air environment was investigated to establish the optimum temperature of floor. At the first time of the heating, high floor temperature is demanded. At the middle of the heating, however, the temperature of the residential space was formed appropriately, although the temperature of the floor was set low.

  • Engineers in the construction field have been using bonded waterproofing sheets in an attempt to resolve the imbalance in the quality, the risk of fire, safety of workers, and environmental pollution, as well as to eliminate separate use of organic adhesives on the surface of concrete. Recently, self-laminated waterproofing sheets have been developed. The purpose of this research is to find an appropriate processing speed according to the changes in physical properties, and visual observation of the waterproofing sheets laminated by the aluminum thin-film and viscosity layer that can be attached through self-adhesiveness on the surface of concrete and waterproofing sheets. Therefore, this research is conducted using a physical performance test. Based on the result of the test, when the high-frequency inductive heating apparatus was used, an improved adhesion and bonding stability effect were confirmed after the anti-hydrostatic pressure and bond strength in the temperature condition, and the surface observation in the processing speed condition.

고온가열 과정 중 대두경화유의 산화안전성에 관한 연구 (Oxidative Stability of Hydrated Soybean Oil during Heating at High Temperature)

  • : In this experiment, three samples of oils were used. These oils were hydrated soybean oil, pure soybean oil and regular soybean oil. Oil was used after heating at $235-240^{\circ}C$ every four hours term and total heating hours was 16 hours. The physio-chemical analysis and sensory evaluation were performed on these oils. The hydrated soybean oil showed lower acid, peroxide and carbonyl value than the other two oils (p<0.05 or p<0.001). The other two oils were more affected in rancidity than the hydrated soybean oil. In color test, whereas L value lowed during the heating time, a and b value increased during the heating time. The tendency of high L value and low b value in a long-time heating was more apparant on the pure soybean oil and the regular soybean oil than on the hydrated soybean oil (p<0.05). In sensory evaluation, color and rancidity order increased during the heating time. The hydrated soybean oil showed color and rancidity order than the other two oils. In overall quality test, the pure and regular soybean oil that had been used for 12 and 16 hour were not preferable. The hydrated soybean oil that had been used for 16 hour were not preferable. In sensory evaluation, the hydrated soybean oil, the pure and regular soybean oil did not show a apparent difference, although the hydrated soybean oil had a little better scores on the overall quality.

저산소 및 열처리법에 대한 문화재 재질 안정성 평가 (Material Stability Assessment of Low Oxygen and Heating Treatment)

  • 기존에 사용되던 Methyl bromide가 환경오염의 문제로 인해 규제대상이 되면서, 이를 대체할 친환경 방제처리방법에 대한 필요성이 대두되었다. 따라서 식품분야 등에서 방제의 목적으로 사용되어온 저산소 및 열처리 기술을 문화재 생물피해 방제 분야에 적용하고자 한다. 저산소처리법은 질소가스 주입으로 공기 중의 산소농도를 낮추어, 열처리법은 가온 또는 냉각을 이용하여 충 균을 치사시키는 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 목조건축물과 관련된 재질인 목재, 안료, 지류, 섬유 등에 저산소처리법과 열처리법을 적용하여 평가하였다. 저산소처리의 재질안정성 평가 결과 목재의 함수율이 약간 감소하였으나 자연회복력을 기대할 수 있을 정도인 것으로 확인되었으며 안료, 지류, 섬유의 색차 및 강도는 안정하였다. 열처리법 적용 시에는 안료의 박리현상이 관찰되었다. 저산소처리법과 재질에 안정한 온도조건에서의 열처리는 기존에 사용되어온 화학적 처리방법 문제의 대안으로서 충분히 고려 가능할 것으로 보인다 .

Development of exothermic system based on internet of things for preventing damages in winter season and evaluation of applicability to railway vehicles

  • Gravel scattering that is generated during operation of high-speed railway vehicle is cause to damage of vehicle such as windows, axle protector and so on. Especially, those are frequently occurred in winter season when snow ice is generated easily. Above all, damage of vehicle windows has not only caused maintenance cost but also increased psychological anxiety of passengers. Various methods such as heating system using copper wire, heating jacket and heating air are applied to remove snow ice generated on the under-body of vehicle. However, the methods require much run-time and man power which can be low effectiveness of work. Therefore, this paper shows that large-area heating system was developed based on heating coat in order to fundamentally prevent snow ice damage on high-speed railway vehicle in the winter season. This system gives users high convenience because that can remotely control the heating system using IoT-based wireless communication. For evaluating the applicability to railroad sites, a field test on an actual high-speed railroad operation was conducted by applying these techniques to the brake cylinder of a high-speed railroad vehicle. From the results, it evaluated how input voltage and electric power per unit area of the heating specimen influences exothermic performance to draw the permit power condition for icing. In the future, if the system developed in the study is applied at the railroad site, it may be used as a technique for preventing all types of damages occurring due to snow ice in winter.
