The purpose of this study is to analyze the emotions of color in Chinese historical film 'Hero'. This study was carried out by questionnaire survey on students and ordinary person of 20 ~ 45 years old Korean-Chinese image content students through sensitive scientific research method. It was evaluated on the color in the background, the lighting of the Chinese historical movie 'Hero'. The results of this study suggest that the color of the film may have an emotional impact on the audience.

This study defined the animation space as the concept of map based on the space of Joseph Campbell's heroic narrative. The space in which the animated character exists is an image symbolic language that reflects the inner and outer growth stages of the hero. I focused on the spatiality that plays the role of the power to lead the narrative and examined the meaning as the mediator that leads the heroic narrative. First, 6 spatial variables were derived by observing 'Hero's Journey 'which is used as a basis of US commercial animation scenario. Second, spatial variables are defined as 64 zones and proposed as 'Spatial Map Model of the Hero's Journey' (SMMH). Third, the character space of was applied to 'SMMH', and the change of space utilization rate and spatiality and the narrative meaning were analyzed. This study extended the narrative of animation space which was not actively studied to map concept. It is possible to provide a different viewpoint in animation production and research.

The purpose of this study is to examine the sensitivity of the audience to the background of the building where Chinese historical film 'Hero' is used. In this study, the sensitive vocabulary suitable for the building background was derived through previous research related to sensitivity, and the sensitive analysis was analyzed by questionnaire form. Research result shows that the building background of the movie can have an sensitive impact on the audience and will help to understand Chinese traditional style and culture.

This research examines a storytelling of a crisis presented in news coverages about Asiana Airline accident happened at San Francisco airport on July 6th, 2013. and investigate how the storytelling affects public's image toward an organization. To answer the research questions, qualitative content analysis of news articles (n=101) and survey (n=125) were employed. The subjects for the content analysis were Chosun Daily Newspaper and Hankyoreh Daily Newspaper, and the period of news articles is range from June 6th, 2013 to June 12th, 2014. The results showed that 10% out of total news articles was positive description toward stewardess who handled the crisis well in emergence situtation. The major expressions of depicting the stewardess's heroic activities in the news articles were tears, composure, hero, quick response, sacrifice, sorry, and so on. The online survey was conducted from Nov. 15, 2013 to Feb. 14, 2014 and found that the stewardess heroic activity influenced positively public's evaluation on Asian airline's crisis management and image of the company.

There are increasing usage of Nickel-Titanium rotary files in modern clinical endodontic treatment because it is effective and faster than hand filing due to reduced step. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of canal preparations using 3 different rotary Nickel-Titanium files that has different cross sectional shape and taper on the maintenance of canal curvature. Simulated resin block were instrumented with Profile(Dentsply, USA), GT rotary files(Dentsply, USA), Hero 642(Micro-Mega France), and Pro-Taper(Dentsply, USA). The image of Pre-instrumentation and Post-instrumentation were acquired using digital camera and overspreaded in the computer. Then the total differences of canal diameter, deviation at the outer portion of curvature, deviation at the inner portion of curvature, movement of center of the canal and the centering ratio at the pre-determined level from the apex were measured. Results were statistically analyzed by means of ANOVA, followed by Scheffe test at a significance level of 0.05. The results were as follows； 1. Deviation at the outer portion of curvature, deviation at the inner portion of curvature were showed largest in Pro-Taper so also did in the total differences of canal diameter(p＜0.05). 2. All the groups showed movements of center Profile combined with GT rotary files and Hero 642 has no difference but Pro-Taper showed the most deviation(p＜0.05). 3. At the 1, 2, 3mm level from the apex movements of center directed toward the outer portion of curvature, but in 4, 5 mm level directed toward the inner portion of curvature(p＜0.05). As a results of this study, it could be concluded that combined use of other Nickel-Titanium rotary files is strongly recommended when use Pro-Taper file because it could be remove too much canal structure and also made more deviation of canal curvature than others.

Nat Turner's rebellion in 1831 was considered pre Civil War South's most dreadful nightmare due to the merciless murder of white slave owner victims. The motive of vengeance has been emphasized as that of Turner's notorious black preacher religious fanaticism. However, the recent film, The Birth of a Nation (2016) directed by Nate Parker, utilized the identical title of a film (1915) directed by D. W. Griffith. Providing limited evidence, information about the rebellion in Thomas Gray's pamphlet The Confessions of Nat Turner (1831), was the only accessible historical source for the factual event of the slaves' rebellion. In addition, William Styron's The Confessions of Turner (1967), a fictionalized biography, also examined Turner's life in the harshness of slavery. Although these two texts deal with the personal level of Nat Turner's rage and religious enthusiasm, both provide only fractured parts of the motive of vengeance. Strikingly, Parker's film interrogates the ideology of "victims," as well as the hierarchical term of "confessions," with their different positions between whites and blacks. More specifically, Parker's film offers discursive fields of proslavery arguments regarding biblical interpretations in addition to external visualization of slaves' inner emotional lives. The film demonstrates how the institution of slavery allowed slaves to be exploited, beaten, raped, through interrogating the problematic image of the "contested hero" Nat Turner. In contrast to the traditional image of blacks' bloody rebellion, the film underlines the absurdity of certain Biblical misinterpretations. It furthermore implies how the 1915 film manipulated proslavery propaganda in America.

When a user visits a specific site through various devices, the hero image located in the main area that can be viewed without scrolling includes multiple slides and has various carousel navigation patterns. While there is a negative perception that the carousel design does not receive the user's choice due to the hidden slide, it can be seen that its usefulness can vary depending on the user's context. In addition, the navigation pattern of the carousel design is the factor that has the greatest influence on the user experience. The left and right arrow navigation pattern, the bottom pagination navigation pattern, the accordion type navigation pattern, the thumbnail type navigation pattern, the divided slide type navigation pattern, and the last. It could be divided into six types of left and right slide navigation patterns.

This research is about the changes in the images of Bond and Bond Girl in '007' Series. And it examined through the social background of England from 1960s to 2000s and the costume in the film. The results were as follows: As the era of young fashion was opened after 1960, there was a big change, but Bond was expressed as a hero who had strong male chauvinism of the English aristocratic circles. However, after 1990s, he wore comfortable clothes and he underwent all sorts of hardships. On the other hand, Bond Girl had the image of a sexual target. However, after 1990s, she had sharp appearance and smart brain. Besides, she had professional ideas of a given work and she was changed into a healthy image. Second, Bond's job was an English secrete agent, but Bond Girl had no particular job in 1960s. In 1980s, various professional jobs appeared and in 1990s and 2000s, the professional job which was directly related with Bond's duties appeared. Third, Bond's upper class image was expressed by tuxedo, suit, black, gray, navy, beige, brown, and ivory. His hair was 2:8 parting or Dandy all black style produced his dignified and neat image. After 1990s, he often had casual dress, which created a comfortable image. Bond Girl was expressed feminine style by bikini, underwear, long dress, sky-blue, violet, black, simple costume. After 1990s, she wore a suite, one-piece, or a combat uniform, which showed her professionalism. especially Bond Girl's red dress was used as a psychological color to express temptation, enemy, and betray.

This paper analyzed and compared the storytelling of female characters in Korean, American, Japanese animations and revealed the ideal image of woman of each culture. Chapter 2 analyzed the superficial images of the female characters and figured out how these images reflected awareness of a reality. This paper revealed that female characters act as a representative cultural symbols and embodies the paradigm and the order of those cultures. In Chapter 3, this paper analyzed and compared how the female characters solve the dramatic events in the entire narrative structure, and revealed the cultural implications of their action and these events. Korean characters were imitating the idols as an extension of the real world, and American characters were drawn as unreal Super Heroes who were utilized to enhance the order of the world if the United States. Japanese characters, the magical girls are led to create a magic circle and then become surreal goddesses. In this way, this paper revealed that female characters in animation reflect the male-centered ideology of each culture according to the awareness of a reality and cultural paradigm.

From 1949 to 1966, after the new China was established, in order to consolidate newborn regime and erect national image, "proletariat revolutionary education" had become the main way of literary and artistic creation in the new era. In this era, Chinese animation began to produce to form the characteristics of emphasizing the ideological expression and political education from 1949 to1966, but it also made people misunderstand that it was the results of comprehensive containment of Soviet literary thoughts and creative models. In fact, Regardless of the subject matter, narrative, and role, Chinese animations have inherited and developed the ideological characteristics of the "Mun-yi-jae-do" literary view, forming a creative style that is different from the Soviet "dogmatism." The characteristics of "revolutionary hero role", "mythological expression of revolutionary thought" and "unique storytelling narrative mode" in Chinese animation from 1949 to 1966 were the inheritance and development of the "hero role", "mythological story", and "art of storytelling" of the important expression means of traditional art creation after the establishment of the "Mun-yi-jae-do".
