대학생들의 정신건강 서비스 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (Factors Affecting College Students' Intention to Use Mental Health Services for Mental Wellness)

  • 이 연구는 대학생들을 대상으로 정신건강 서비스 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 심리사회적 요인들과 응답자의 특성 요인들이 어느 정도의 영향을 미치는가를 밝히는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 구체적으로, 정신건강에 대한 지식수준, 주관적 규범, 도움추구 태도와 사회심리적 스트레스 수준이 응답자의 도움 추구 의도에 미치는 영향력을 검증하였다. 연구결과, 주관적 규범, 사회심리적 스트레스 수준, 정신건강 서비스 이용태도가 정신건강 서비스 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 판명되었다. 이 요인들의 도움 추구 의도에 대한 영향력은 사회심리적 스트레스 수준, 도움추구 태도, 주관적 규범의 순으로 나타났다. 연구는 대학생들의 정신건강 서비스 이용의도의 예측 요인들을 확인함으로써 정신건강 증진 및 인식 캠페인 실행시 메시지 개발에 도움이 되는 함의를 제공하였다.

한국대학생의 정신건강 원조체계 활용에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Use of Mental Health Helping Systems among College Students in Korea)

  • 목적: 이 연구는 한국 대학생의 정신건강 원조체계 활용을 고찰하는데 일차적 목적을 두곤 보건의료서비스 이용에 관한 모델을 적용하여 다양한 정신건강 원조체계의 활용에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악하고자 했다. 방법: 수도권에 위치한 4년제 대학 4곳에서 총 454명의 학생들이 본 연구를 위한 설문에 참여했다. 자기응답식 설문지를 사용하여 공식적 보건의료 및 정신보건서비스, 비공식적 원조체계, 동년배 집단, 가족지지로 구분되는 다양한 원조체계와 관련된 도움요청 행위(help-seeking behavior)에 관한 자료를 수집했다. 결과: 조사 응답자들은 심리정신적 어려움에 처했을 때 흔히 도움을 요청하는 대상으로 가족이나 동년배 집단에 속하는 다양한 유형의 대상을 꼽았으며, 이들 다양한 유형의 자원에 도움을 구하는데 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나이, 성별, 심리정신적 증상, 정신질환에 대한 지식, 태도가 유의미하게 나타났다. 나이와 심리정신적 증상이 높을수록 공식적 서비스를 활용할 가능성이 높았으며, 증상이 심한 경우 비공식적 자원(종교인, 교수 등)에 도움을 요청할 가능성이 낮았다. 남학생의 경우와 정신질환에 대해 부정적 지식과 태도를 갖고 있는 경우는 동년배(선후배, 동성 및 이성친구 등)에게 도움을 요청할 가능성이 낮았다. 결론: 비공식적 자원이나 동년배 집단은 발달적으로 청소년후기 및 청년전기에 속하는 대학생 집단에 있어 사회적 지지로서, 전문적 도움의 관문으로서 중요한 역할을 할 수 있음에도 불구하고 그 역할이 제한적이므로, 동년배상담자 훈련이나 자조집단 육성 등을 비롯한 대학 상담부서의 적극적인 정신건강 아웃리치(outreach) 노력이 필요하다.

  • 영재상담의 필요성과 효과성에 대한 관심과 연구는 최근 활성화되고 있지만, 실제 영재상담 프로그램의 구안에서 고려해야 할 요인에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 영재의 상담 의향에 영향을 미치는 요인 및 그 관계를 설명하는 구조방정식 모형을 구축하고 검증함으로써 영재 상담을 방해하는 요인을 확인하고, 영재 상담 프로그램의 개선에 기초 자료를 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 영재의 학업 강조 경향성, 학부모의 학업강조 경향성, 영재의 전문적 도움 추구에 대한 태도, 영재의 상담에 대한 일반적인 태도 및 인식이 영재의 상담 의향에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 영재 학부모의 학업 강조 경향성은 영재의 전문적 도움 추구와 영재의 상담에 대한 일반적 태도 및 인식을 매개로 영재의 상담의향에에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 논의에서는 이 연구가 영재상담의 실제에 갖는 함의와 제한점 및 향후 연구 방향을 제시하였다.

청소년들의 대인관계와 집단따돌림 피해경험 간의 관계에서 자기표현과 도움추구태도의 조절효과 (Moderating Effects of Self-expression and Attitudes Toward Seeking Help on the Relation between Interpersonal Relationship and Bullying among Adolescents)

  • 본 연구는 청소년들의 대인관계와 집단따돌림 피해경험 간의 관계에서 자기표현과 도움추구태도의 조절효과를 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 2014년 5월부터 6월까지 서울과 경기도 남양주시에 소재한 중 고등학교에서 316명의 자료를 조사하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 대인관계와 자기표현은 집단따돌림 피해경험에 유의한 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 도움추구태도는 집단따돌림 피해경험과 유의한 상관관계가 없었다. 셋째, 대인관계와 집단따돌림 피해경험 간의 관계에서 자기표현은 유의한 조절효과가 있었다. 구체적으로 자기표현이 높을수록 대인관계가 집단따돌림 피해경험에 미치는 부적 영향을 약하게 하였다. 넷째, 대인관계와 집단따돌림 피해경험 간의 관계에서 도움추구태도는 유의한 조절효과가 없었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 청소년들의 집단따돌림 예방을 위한 자기표현의 중요성을 논의하였다.

Why We #Hashtag: Motivations Associated with Posting Brand Hashtags on Social Media

  • Hashtags (#) have received a great deal of attention from academia and industry as an effective digital tool for engaging social media users and facilitating electronic word-of-mouth for brands. We delved into motivations concerning people's brand-related hashtag-posting behavior on social media. The findings revealed three motivations for posting brand-related hashtags on social media: social acceptance, brand altruism, and incentive seeking. Additionally, we examined the relationships between motivations and brand relationship variables. The results showed that social acceptance and brand-related altruism predicted all of the five relationship variables (i.e., brand attitude, brand trust, brand affective and calculative commitment and brand loyalty), while incentive-seeking predicted brand calculative commitment and brand loyalty. The findings of the study provide some meaningful insights into the development of brand communication strategies and help marketers capitalize on social media platforms to achieve higher user involvement.

일본 소비자의 혁신성과 신제품 소스에 대한 소비 행동 분석 (Consumer Innovativeness and Consumption Behavior of New Sauce Products for the Japanese Consumer)

  • Objectives: This study analyzed Japanese consumers on their sauce consumption, and assessed the relationship between consumer innovativeness and consumption behavior for new sauce products. Methods: The survey was completed by local consumers visiting Korean restaurants in Osaka, Japan, in September 2018. The demographic characteristics, consumption of sauce, consumer innovativeness, and factors of theory of planned behavior were evaluated. Totally, 150 collected data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 Program (IBM SPSS INC, Armonk, NY, USA). Results: Results of the survey indicate that Japanese consumers purchase a sauce by considering the taste and food utilization. Sauce purchases were maximum at mega markets and supermarkets. The consumer innovativeness for Japanese consumers was based on 3 factors: 'Purchasing adventurous products (3.51 ± 0.96)', 'Active information seeking (4.36 ± 1.11)', and 'Interactive information seeking (4.33 ± 1.02)', where the tendency of 'Active information seeking' was the highest innovativeness factor. Furthermore, higher values of perceived behavior control (4.68 ± 1.21), attitude (4.66 ± 1.41) and subjective norm (4.39 ± 1.28) were revealed, when assessing for theory of planned behavior factors. Correlating the variables of consumer innovation and factors of planning behavior theory, 'Active information seeking' is a positive attribute for attitude (p<0.016), subjective norm (p<0.001), and perceived behavior control (p<0.002). These 3 factors also had significantly positive effects on purchase intention for new sauce product (p<0.000, p<0.000, and p<0.002, respectively). Attitude was determined to be another very influential variable for purchase intention of a new sauce product (B=0.484, t=6.881). Conclusions: The results of this study determine the consumption patterns of sauce for the Japanese consumer, and the relationship between consumer innovativeness and consumption behavior for Korean traditional sauces. We believe the data generated from this study will help determine a marketing strategy to enter the Japanese market.

마이크로티칭 경험이 신임교수에게 주는 의미 탐색 (Seeking the Meaning of Microteaching Experience to New Professors)

  • The objective of this study is to provide university authorities with substantial help in enforcing Microteaching to new professors based on qualitative study. The subjects participated in this study are eleven new professors working for D college located in Busan and the study lasted for ten months from May 2011 to February 2012. The results of this study are as follow: First, new professors took cognizance of Microteaching both as a burdensome task and as a teaching evaluation tool. Second, they had difficulties confronting their exposed teaching realities and accepting the results of teaching evaluation. Third, Microteaching contributed to the shift of professors' attitude from teacher's perspective to students' and the shift of their cognizance from the existing teaching attitude to the improved, innovative, and open teaching attitude. Lastly, this paper proposes that Microteaching enforcement should be made through professors' voluntary participation based on the change of professors' cognizance on Microteaching and Microteaching consulting should be a progress-oriented process rather than an evaluation-oriented process.

Association of Knowledge and Cultural Perceptions of Malaysian Women with Delay in Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer: a Systematic Review

  • Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer mortality among women of all ethnic and age groups in Malaysia. Delay in seeking help for breast cancer symptoms is preventable and by identifying possible factors for delayed diagnosis, patient prognosis and survival rates could be improved. Objectives: This narrative review aimed to understand and evaluate the level of in-depth breast cancer knowledge in terms of clinical breast examination and breast self-examination, and other important aspects such as side-effects and risk factors in Malaysian females. Since Malaysia is multicultural, this review assessed social perceptions, cultural beliefs and help-seeking behaviour in respect to breast cancer among different ethnic groups, since these may impinge on efforts to 'avoid' the disease. Materials and Methods: A comprehensive literature search of seven databases was performed from December 2015 to January 2015. Screening of relevant published journals was also undertaken to identify available information related to the knowledge, perception and help-seeking behaviour of Malaysian women in relation to breast cancer. Results: A total of 42 articles were appraised and included in this review. Generally, women in Malaysia had good awareness of breast cancer and its screening tools, particularly breast self-examination, but only superficial in-depth knowledge about the disease. Women in rural areas had lower levels of knowledge than those in urban areas. It was also shown that books, magazines, brochures and television were among the most common sources of breast cancer information. Delay in presentation was attributed mainly to a negative social perception of the disease, poverty, cultural and religion practices, and a strong influence of complementary and alternative medicine, rather than a lack of knowledge. Conclusions: This review highlighted the need for an intensive and in-depth breast cancer education campaigns using media and community health programmes, even with the existing good awareness of breast cancer. This is essential in order to avoid misconceptions and to frame the correct mind-set about breast cancer among women in Malaysia. Socio-cultural differences and religious practices should be taken into account by health care professionals when advising on breast cancer. Women need to be aware of the risk factors and symptoms of breast cancer so that early diagnosis can take place and the chances of survival improved.

청소년의 기질이 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 : 애정적 양육태도의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Influence of Adolescents' Temperament on Subjective Well-Being: the Mediating Effect of Perceived Parenting Affective Attitude)

  • The purpose of this study is to increase our understanding of subjective well-being in adolescents and to help improve it by investigating the relationship among adolescents' temperaments, perceived parenting affective attitude and subjective well-being. For this study, the subjects were 354 students from 4 different middle schools in Gwang-ju, Korea. The statistical analysis of the data was conducted by means of the SPSS 21.0 program using Pearson's correlations and hierarchical regression. The results are as follows: First, the temperament and perceived parenting affective attitude were correlated with subjective well-being. Among the temperament traits, novelty seeking and harm avoidance showed negative correlations with subjective well-being, whereas affection, reward dependence and persistence showed positive correlations with subjective well-being. Second, after the mediating effect of perceived affection on subjective well-being was confirmed, three temperament traits, viz. harm avoidance, reward dependence, and persistence, were identified as mediating factors. The conclusion of this study is that adolescents' temperament and perceived parenting affective attitude are related to their subjective well-being and can also predict their subjective well-being. Harm avoidance, reward dependence, and persistence, which are inborn temperaments, affect subjective well-being. Affection, which is a perceived parenting affective attitude trait, affects subjective well-being as a mediation variable. This study also suggests that it is more effective to influence perceived parenting affective attitude, which has growth potential, rather than temperaments which are hard to change.

  • Experiment teaching is an important part for science and engineering colleges, teaching through different pilot projects: First, help students to consolidate the theory of operation; second, trail students the capacity and the ability to solve practical problems. Improve students the curriculum of learning, and promote the formation of students to discover and solve the problem. of the basic quality in training students hands-on ability and ability to innovate, while guiding them to develop the attitude of scientific truth-seeking, the style of rigorous and thorough and the spirit of unity and coordination.
