The development of digital technology is changing the paradigm of the healthcare industry to preventive and consumer-oriented. The combination of the ICT industry and the bio-healthcare industry is emerging as a core industry in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Korean government has also selected the bio-healthcare industry as one of the three key future development industries. In May, the government announced its bio-health industry innovation strategy and set a goal of 300,000 employees. Therefore, analyzing the effects of employment on the related industries of the digital bio-healthcare industry is very important for the establishment of future industrial and technology development policies. The research method restructures the integrated classification of 32 industries into 34, including the digital bio-healthcare industry, using the classification criteria of the government and professional institutions, and then reorganizes the digital bio-healthcare industry into eight industries classified as one industry group. The analysis data was taken from the Bank of Korea's 2019 data. Various trigger coefficients and ripple effects coefficients were rewritten using the analysis method of the Input-output Statistics. The analysis of the results compares the employment-induced effects of the digital bio-healthcare industry and the ripple effects of related industries in production, investment and value-added. In addition, in terms of investment effect, the effects of in-house and related industries were compared. It is hoped that the results of this study will be used to establish employment and industrial policies.

Due to the increasing interest in wellness aroused by the aging population and the pursuing feature of active old age, Korean elderly set importance on long life with their healthy condition. Following the change in the paradigm of the medical delivery system from hospital-oriented, treatment-oriented to personal-centered and self-care, Service design application of Smart Healthcare for the elderly became valuable. Smart Healthcare is a healthcare service provided through the fusion of ICT technologies including mobile/wearable devices, IoT, big data, and information technology, and it is utilized to prevent diseases managing abundant health information and living habits. As a methodology for delivering such Smart Healthcare to the elderly, Service design can be adopted. Therefore, this study would like to present the perquisites of Smart Healthcare design for the elderly through analyzing the results from in-depth interview methods between the elderly and medical staff. As a result of this study, guidelines for Service design application of health vulnerability management for the elderly utilizing smart phones were presented. Therefore, this study presented four prerequisites composed of 'high level of supplementation and ethical decision making', 'improvement of inequality in accessibility and experience', 'resolving problems in policy implementation' and 'user-friendliness' for the Smart Healthcare service design for the elderly. Overall, Service design is expected to play an innovative role in improving the quality of life for the elderly through the process of collecting and delivering information on Smart Healthcare centered on the experience of the elderly.

A business model (BM) can be developed based on a business model framework (BMF) consisting of key components such as value proposition, customers, and resources. To systematically generate and analyze emerging BMs such as healthcare BM, an integration of diverse BMF components is needed. The present study is to establish a comprehensive BMF and evaluate its applicability to healthcare BMs. Based on a review of eight BMF studies, ten BMF components were identified and classified into five major components (value proposition, resources, organizing model, customers, and revenue model) and five minor components (technology, service platform, delivery, competitive strategy, and growth/exit) by analyses of frequency and functional importance. Lastly, the BMs of three emerging healthcare companies (WellDoc, Inc., CFW Shops, and Aravind Eye Care System) were analyzed and compared in terms of the proposed BMF components. The comprehensive BMF components presented in the study can be of help for developing new BMs and analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of BMs.
Purpose: This study identifies causality in IoT-based healthcare user's experience(playful experience, economical experience), trust, usage, degree of dependence and continuous use intention, especially focused on chinese case. Methods: Face to face interviews was conducted for people who has experience in the use of the Xiaomi Mi band. This study used Partial Least Square(PLS) method with the questionnaires from the interview. Results: IoT-based healthcare users taking playful experience have a strong trust in a positive economic experiences. Also, the user recognizing the experience as an economic one shows stronger intention to use continuously. Conclusion: By getting healthcare users have more economic experience, they have continuous use intention of healthcare product. The empirical findings can be applied to the related companies strategy building.
As Gangwon-do Province needs an environmental-friendly alternative tourism according to low carbon green growth, this study analyzes specialized fields in green health industry, selects seven specialized fields in green health industry that is fit to Gangwon-do Province, and suggests a development strategy by conducting recognition surveys on preference and impotence of the specialized fields. Surveys and interviews are conducted of 106 students at Green Health Industry Education Center which is operating by Kwandong University and 84 persons who work at medical institutions and tourism related companies in Ganwondo. The surveys and interviews were completed from November 5 to November 19 in 2010, determined factors through a factor analysis when they have many questions, and analyzed by using SPSS 14.0. Out of the seven specialized fields, rest & recuperation field is highly recognized. In order to have competitive edge compared to other self-governing provinces, Ganwon-do Province should prioritize rest and recuperation field. A healthcare program in the green health industry specific to Ganwon-do Province includes hot springs and spa programs as a priority. Gangwon-do's hot springs are deemed to be competitive resources as global medical tourists prefer spa and sauna healthcare programs, while the province promotes its spring resources and builds medical tourism infrastructures. Gangwon-do Province can promote a medical tourism industry that is well suitable for the strength and characteristics of the province. It might pursue oriental medicine therapy tourism, which is related to a recuperating medical service that uses both oriental and western medicine. It can also run such programs as forest bathing (oxygen road), spring and spa, and sea water treatment, which are the specialized fields in green health industry with respect to recreation and healthcare.
Purposes: The purpose is to establish the direction of healthcare R&D through private nonprofit organization. Methodology: The data is divided into two groups: 12 physicians and pharmacists, and 16 persons including professors related to university donation, non-profit foundation executives. Each group was subjected to two Delphi surveys. To analyze the validity of the opinion, the content validity ratio and the consensus of experts were verified. Findings: Funding should be invested in 'development research' and 'application research'. The factors that hinder the donation culture are 'donation prevention system such as tax imposition system and rebate double penalty system', 'insufficient motivation of fund raising person', and 'lack of fund specializing specialist'. The fund raising strategy should be centered on a small number of large donors or a balance between large and small donors. The fund raising target should be effective to raise funds for corporate and individual donors. It is necessary to clarify the purpose of the social problem to be solved by the campaign strategy for promoting donation, to announce the validity of the trust and transparency of the institution, and to emphasize the social investment by the private sector. Practical Implications: It is necessary to present directions through private nonprofit organizations for the future development of healthcare R&D. The legal and institutional deficiencies of the domestic nonprofit organization fundraising infrastructure should be improved. In order to create a social investment climate, it is necessary to improve the awareness of donations and develop various donation programs for the private sector.

Objectives: This study was intended to provide the base of developing countries' Health Partnership Strategy by investigating the Paraguay's awareness level of health and analyzing the actual state. Methods: The data was collected from 11 government employees, 20 hospital staffs, 26 local residents on Asunci$\acute{o} $n, Paraguay in February, 2012. The method of the study was the questionnaires consisting of 62 questions including 7 questions of general features, 3 questions of awareness on maternal health care, child health care, planned parenthood program, 52 questions of awareness on health. The questionnaires was translated into Spanish which is local language in Paraguay. Results: The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) The most important awareness on maternal healthcare, child healthcare, planned parenthood program was providing child health care. 2) The most important awareness to prevent non-health behavior was sufficient nutrition. The most important awareness to reduce the rate of chronic disease was diabetes. The most important awareness to eradicate communicable disease was HIV/AIDS. 3) The most important awareness to provide healthcare service was vaccination. 4) The most important awareness on healthcare delivery system was policy. The most important awareness on health education was student's health education. 5) The most important awareness to strength healthcare capacity was developing domestic economy. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that awareness levels on health are high against low health behavior status in Paraguay. But awareness on health can lead to health behavior by healthcare system. Therefore, it has to induce the healthcare network and system by injecting public health funds, infrastructure, human resources on prevention of disease and healthcare management.
At the core of future medicine is the realization of Precision Medicine centered on individuals. For this, we need to have an open ecosystem that can view, manage and distribute healthcare data anytime, anywhere. However, since healthcare data deals with sensitive personal information, a significant level of reliability and security are required at the same time. In order to solve this problem, the healthcare industry is paying attention to the blockchain technology. Unlike the existing information communication infrastructure, which stores and manages transaction information in a central server, the block chain technology is a distributed operating network in which a data is distributed and managed by all users participating in the network. In this study, we not only discuss the technical and legal aspects necessary for demonstration of healthcare data distribution using blockchain technology but also introduce KOREN SDI Network-based Healthcare Big Data Distribution Demonstration Study. In addition, we discuss policy strategies for activating blockchain technology in healthcare.

Blockchain technology has emerged as one of the most crucial solutions in numerous industries, including healthcare. The combination of blockchain technology and cloud computing results in improving access to high-quality telemedicine and healthcare services. In addition to developments in healthcare, the operational strategy outlined in Vision 2030 is extremely essential to the improvement of the standard of healthcare in Saudi Arabia. The purpose of this survey is to give a thorough analysis of the current state of healthcare technologies that are based on blockchain and cloud computing. We highlight some of the unanswered research questions in this rapidly expanding area and provide some context for them. Furthermore, we demonstrate how blockchain technology can completely alter the medical field and keep health records private; how medical jobs can detect the most critical, dangerous errors with blockchain industries. As it contributes to develop concerns about data manipulation and allows for a new kind of secure data storage pattern to be implemented in healthcare especially in telemedicine fields is discussed diagrammatically.
The purpose of this study was to find out the differences and relationships among balanced strategy, coordinating and learning mechanism, and perceived performance of hospitals in Korea, and provide some directions to establish effective strategic management of hospital. Measure items on balanced strategy, coordinating and learning mechanism, and perceived performance were developed from previous studies. Questionnaire was sent and received through Internet site and e-mail during May, 2008. Data were collected from key informant in each institutions, and analyzed using frequency analysis, T-test, ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. The level of strategic selection and external learning mechanism of private hospital was lower than that of medical corporation, and others corporation hospital. 2. There was little difference between hospitals in metropolitan and those in small cities. 3. Hospitals that have under 100 beds were statistically lower level in strategic selection and external learning mechanism than hospitals has over 100 beds. 4. Formal coordinating and external learning mechanism, and foundation form(medical corporation) were significantly influenced on profitability from specialized field. 5. Strategic selection and adaptation mechanism were significantly affected on total profitability. 6. Strategic selection and external learning mechanism were significantly influenced on competitive power around its local market. Hospitals that are to be competitive by specialization should have to establish mechanism for management such as balanced strategy, coordinating and learning mechanism.
