  • In the crowdfunding market, various crowdfunding platforms can offer founders the possibilities to collect funding and launch someone's next campaign, project or events. Especially, healthcare crowdfunding is a field that is growing rapidly on health-related problems based on online platforms. One of the largest platforms, GoFundMe, has raised US$ 5 billion since 2010. Unfortunately, while providing crucial help to care for many people, it is also increasing risk of fraud. Using the largest platform of crowdfunding market, GoFundMe, we conduct an exhaustive search of detection on fraud from October 2016 to September 2019. Data sets are based on 6 main types of medical focused crowdfunding campaigns or events, such as cancer, in vitro fertilization (IVF), leukemia, health insurance, lymphoma and, surgery type. This study evaluated a detect of fraud process to identify fraud from non-fraud healthcare crowdfunding campaigns using various machine learning technics.

  • The Mobile device like smart phone is a small computing device and easy to carry around. The Mobile devices are wildly being used as desktop personal computer and can served individual services. Because of compatibility of applications working on mobile devices are not good, so developer need to develop it that match changes in platform fetures. In this paper, we design and implementate ubiquitous healthcare monitoring system that can be runs on many different platforms using HTML5 as a standard web development language and jQuery as a javascript library. Ubiquitous healthcare monitoring system is runs on on many different platforms like mobile platforms and desktop web browsers.

  • Digital platforms characterized by network effects enable provisioning of various types of services and provide a mechanism for linking producers and consumers. Identifying the key Quality of Service attributes of such platforms is vital for their continued success and growth. In this paper, a set of quality attributes for platforms is first extracted from different extant quality models. Then actual user feedback data from three platform providers are analysed and mapped against the set of quality attributes to determine the key attributes that are relevant. These findings are corroborated with qualitative data from interviews of different stakeholders. The results show that service quality characteristics are important to the success of platforms. Functional characteristics of platforms assume importance where the digital contributions of the platform is higher. Apart from these, 'fitness for use' as a major determinant of quality is also important in digital platforms.

  • In this paper, we surveyed state-of-the-art health and wellness platforms. The motivation of this paper is to review the state-of-the-art health and wellness platforms and their maturity with respect to adoption of latest enabling technologies. The is review is classified into four categories: healthcare systems, AI-assisted healthcare, wellness platforms, and open source health and wellness initiatives. From this comprehensive review, it can be stated that the contemporary healthcare systems are well-adopting wellness due to the concentration shift towards prevention. Thus, the gap between health and wellness is slowly yet carefully entering gray area. Where both the domains can freely invoke each other's services, and supporting enabling technologies. Furthermore, the biomedical researchers and physicians are no longer carrying the myopic views of trusting their knowledge for diagnosis. AI-assisted technologies based on machine learning and big data are influencing today's prognosis with trust and confidence.

  • As IT technology develops recently, medical equipment used in hospitals is demanding high performance. However, since the user visits different hospitals depending on the user's situation, the medical information treated at the hospital is distributed among the hospitals. In this paper, we propose a model to efficiently integrate the health care information of the users stored in the hospital in order to collect the healthcare information of the users who visited the different hospitals. The proposed model synchronizes users' healthcare information collected from personal wearable devices to collect user - centered healthcare information. In addition, the proposed model performs integrity and validity check related to user's healthcare information in a database existing in a cloud environment in order to smoothly share data with the healthcare service center. In particular, the proposed model enables tree - based data processing to smoothly manage healthcare information collected from mobile platforms.

  • The changes in the medical and healthcare are started from the digital technology. The new field of digital healthcare has started fused with existing healthcare, medical technology, and digital technology. It can increase the service effect and reduce healthcare costs by applying ICT skills such as ICBM(Internet of Things, Cloud, Big data and Mobile), artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual, augmented reality, and wearable devices to healthcare services including healthcare, disease management. Recently there has been grafted an artificial intelligence technologies such as AlphaGo of Google and Watson of IBM onto the healthcare area. In this study, we analyze the main technology, ecosystem, platforms for digital healthcare, and lastly future changes in health care services and issues of digital healthcare.

  • The healthcare business is growing as a global core business because of the phenomenon of global aging, as well as in South Korea, skyrocketing health care costs accordingly, and changing the paradigm from treatment to the prevention-centered medical service. Especially, as the digital healthcare service stands out as a solution, major countries actively promote and support policies at the government level. Thus, this study will present attributes of a market-oriented service that would vitalize the digital healthcare service industry by investigating major attributes of the digital healthcare service. To analyze the relationships of the influences of attributes, this study used Interpretive Structural Modeling. As a result of literature research and ISM, this study can understand the eight basic attributes of the digital healthcare service (network scalability, context awareness, connection among information platforms, cost, trust, security, ease of use, usefulness) and analyze the relationships of the influences among the attributes. In addition, as this study finds some significant differences in Order Winner and Order Qualifier between the experts' group (security) and the users' group (trust, ease of use, usefulness), It provides meaningful implications for revitalization and promotion of digital healthcare service industry.

  • Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) is a term that means post-Sanger sequencing methods with high-throughput sequencing technologies. NGS parallelizes the sequencing process, producing thousands or millions of sequences at once. The latest NGS technologies use even single DNA molecule as a template and measures the DNA sequence directly via measuring electronic signals from the extension or degradation of DNA. NGS is making big impacts on biomedical research, molecular diagnosis and personalized medicine. The hospitals are rapidly adopting the use of NGS to help to patients understand treatment with sequencing data. As NGS equipments are getting smaller and affordable, many hospitals are in the process of setting up NGS platforms. In this review, the progress of NGS technology development and action mechanisms of representative NGS equipments of each generation were discussed. The key technological advances in the commercialized platforms were presented. As NGS platforms are a great concern in the healthcare area, the latest trend in the use of NGS and the prospect of NGS in the future in diagnosis and personalized medicine were also discussed.

  • The aging population and worsening lifestyle habits have increased the risk of chronic diseases. This has heightened the importance of preventive healthcare, particularly through personalized health management services based on individual health data. Despite this, the domestic digital healthcare industry remains underdeveloped. Given the need for acceptance from both consumers and providers, this study uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to identify success factors for health management service platforms. AHP evaluates the relative importance of various factors to aid decision-making. Results show that providers prioritize data analysis and platform design, laws and regulations, and data standardization, while consumers prioritize system stability, laws and regulations, and system security. These findings highlight the need for strategies to bridge the expectation gap to effectively promote health management service platforms.
