Methods: A survey questionnaire was distributed to the caregiver(n=165), at a neurosurgery or orthopedic hospital inpatient ward in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do from April 1 to 14, 2017. We analyzed the data with descriptive statistics analysis, chi-squared analysis and logistic regression analysis by using SPSS 23.0. Results: The response rate to the questionnaire was 92%. Oral health management provided by caregivers to inpatients in the elderly was prevention of oral diseases(92.8%), tooth brushing (89.5%), use of oral care products(68.4%), denture cleaning(90.8%) and oral cleaning(90.8%). Frequency analysis of oral health management in accordance with the educational needs of caregivers was all confirmed statistically significant(p<0.05). In the logistics regression model, oral health knowledge was significantly associated with low oral cleaning(OR=1.58) and oral health attitude was significantly associated with high denture cleaning(OR=1.29) and oral cleaning(OR=1.28) after adjustment for other covariates including gender, age, certification, education level, ward, working years. Conclusions: It is necessary to expand the scope and improve the quality of education that can change the attitudes and behaviors of the caregivers on the oral health management of the elderly on the basis of the current oral health education.

  • The researches on corporate social responsibility(CSR) focused mostly on its effects on financial performance or consumer's behavior. However relatively few studies have dealt with employee's attitude towards CSR. The purpose of this study is to analyze determinants of hospital employee's attitude towards CSR. The data were collected from 163 employees at a general hospital in Gyeonggi-do from June 18 to July 18 in 2012. For the statistical analysis of data, t-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were implemented. The result of hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows that first, perceived management support and direct benefits were positively related to the attitude towards the acceptance of CSR while interruption of work was negatively related. Second, as interruption of work was controlled, the statistically significant relationship between clinical department and attitude towards the acceptance of CSR was disappeared. In order to accommodate CSR in hospitals, first, the enterprise-wide support is more effective rather than expecting the action of each employee. Second, hospitals should provide the education about CSR to let employees expect direct benefits such as improving of their moral sense. Third, the burden of work causing interruption needs to be managed to cause employees to accept CSR.

  • This study aims to examine the structural relationship between consumers' health-related lifestyle. purchasing attitude and purchase intention in the rice-based bakery products market. Data were collected from 397 consumers in their 20 years old and more. Results showed that purchasing attitude positively affected nutrition, trends and taste, and it was a key variable in explaining the intention to purchase rice-based bakery products. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and cultivate rice flour varieties containing various nutrients and develop products by capturing the food trends among consumers to induce them to purchase rice-based bakery products. Purchasing attitude fully mediated the relationship between taste and purchase intention, which suggests that it is necessary to hold tasting or sampling events and carry out promotional activities for consumers to perceive that rice-based bakery products taste good, which may lead to positive purchasing attitude.
