  • Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the level of cancer awareness after delivering educational programs by assessing the awareness in regard to the role of microbial infectious agents in the etiology of some cancers. Methodology: Data were collected during Cancer Awareness and Educational Programs which were conducted at various places such as schools, clubs, mosques and Government health centres. This survey included 200 participants. Results: Of the persons who responded to the question, whether some viruses, bacteria, parasites and fungi, can cause cancer, 111/134 (82.8%), 105/129 (81.4%), 102/124 (82.8%) and 95/122 (77.8%), respectively, answered yes. Conclusion: The level of cancer awareness is low amongst Sudanese northern state inhabitants even after delivering an educational program.

  • This paper present a unified method of steady state performance analysis and limits characteristics of an autonomous three-phase self-excited induction generator (SEIG) driven by a wind turbine under different types of loads and speeds. The proposed method is based on a new mathematical function to solve for the real and imaginary components of the complex equation of the mathematical model. Performances limits, regulation and characteristics of different configurations will be thoroughly examined and compared. The proposed system will be modeled and simulated and the performance limits characteristics will be compared with variable speed and variable capacity.

  • Bridge types such as the suspension bridges and the cable stayed bridges maintained by cables present the dangerous possibility of a ship running through the bottom of the bridge. Due to hangers and main cables in the upper structural system, the bridge is also susceptible to disasters. However, these cable bridges are usually used for long span bridges over the sea. This structure is relatively more exposed to disasters, such as wind, hail, and earthquake, than other structures. This structure also has the potential to cause car accidents on account of the poor visibility due to foggy conditions. If a fire breaks out because of a car accident due to wind, a car explosion will likely occur.

  • The concept of quasi-coincidence of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy point with an interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy set is considered. By using this idea, the notion of interval valued (α, β)-intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals, (1,2)ideals in a semigroup introduced and consequently, a generalization of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals is defined. In this paper, we study the related properties of the interval valued (α, β)-intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals, (1,2) ideals and in particular, an interval valued (Є, Є ∨q)-fuzzy bi-ideals and (1,2) ideals in semigroups will be investigated.

  • The latest university makes the use of exhibition hall bring into relief a specific character and identity. This purpose of this design is to induce interest the exhibition plan, that is useful to appreciation of audience according to space structure. The concept of this design is to design continual circulation plan and to give correctness Information of the exhibit. Because to this exhibition hall is too small space, this design focus is continual circulation plan. The exhibit is classified to according to the character of that, which is distinguished according to the colour plan. The center of the hall is main image hall of university. The right space of the main hail is university history exhibition hall and the left space of the hall is a founder memorial hall. The main colour is light cream. An image object colour plan is point colou, which is bluish green colour.

  • Lightening is a phenomenon in which electric charges accumulated in the air due to a strong ascending air current are instantly discharged. As the air current rises, the steam in the air turns into hail and grows to a certain size. Thunderclouds brought together by the ascending air current when the earth's surface is heated by strong summer sunlight produce what are called heat thunderstorms. Compared to transistors and IC's that operate at several volts, lightening induces voltages of from several 100 to several 10,000 volts and sometimes causes great damage, such as destroying equipment or delaying communication. The following describes the cause of lighting damage and basic idea behind countermeasures against such damage.

  • In this paper we present an integrated Hail sensor It for fan motors, fabricated in industrial bipolar process. As a discrete Hall sensor and signal processing circuitry In the fan motor system were Integrated into single chip a temperature dependence of Hall sensitivity and Hall offset voltage can be compensated and cancelled by on-chip circuitry. We Propose a novel temperature compensation of Hall sensitivity with negative temperature coefficient (TC) using the differential amplifier gain with Positive TC. After a package of the chip was sealed using a plastic Package 20 Pins, the thermal and magnetic characteristics were investigated. The obtained experimental results are in agreement with analytical predictions and have more excellent performance than\ulcorner conventional the fan motor system using discrete Hall sensor.

  • This paper presents a high performance sensor less control four motorized wheels for electric vehicle. Firstly, we applied a sensor less master-slave DTC based control to both the two in wheel motors by using sliding mode observer for its quick response and its high reliability in electric vehicle application. Secondly, to overcome the possible loss of adherence of one of the four wheels which is likely to destabilize the vehicle a solution is proposed in this paper. Thirdly, a Fuzzy logic anti-skid control structure well adapted to the non-linear system is used to overcome the main problem of power train system in the wheel road adhesion characteristic. Various Simulation results have been include in this paper to show that the proposed control strategy can prevent vehicle sliding and show good vehicle stability on a curved path.

  • The study of Oxygen Vacancy on SnO$_2$ thin films grown by thermal chemical vapor deposition were investigated with different substrate temperature. X-ray diffraction showed that the crystallinity of the grown thin films increased with increasing substrate temperature. Two narrow peaks and two broad peaks were observed from the photoluminescence measurements at 6 K. The intensity and shape of the broad peaks were changed with increasing substrate temperature. It was concluded that the origin of the broad peak at 2.4 eV was due to oxygen vacancies and that of peak at 3.1 eV was related to structural defects. Hall effect measurements showed that the carrier density was decreased as increasing deposition time from 10 to 30 min., but increased for the deposition of 60 min.

  • Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS) is an electro-clinical syndrome composed of the triad of mental retardation, multiple seizure types, and the characteristic generalized slow spike-wave complexes in the electroencephalogram. In this article, we report on two patients with LGS whose brain magnetic resonance imaging showed dysgenesis of corpus callosum (CC). We discuss the role of CC in the genesis of secondary bilateral synchrony.
